For information it seems they closed down in 2023 (Google). A pity as we used them in 2021 and all went well, so wanted to use them again.

I have no heard from the company at all, they have no phone number to call which is bizarre as they are a solicitor company.

They never reply to my emails and I will be dis instructing then as this has been on going for 2 years

The whole process of buying my new home very easy . Couple of hickups with the seller not releasing the keys as they should 5 hours late final got them team 9 was amazing fighting with the useless seller solicitors

Quoted 10-12 weeks for our matter of sale and purchase to be dealt with. Approaching 10 weeks all was on track and looking good. Out of the blue we were told that the firm would be closing in a few weeks but as we were so close to completion we would be pushed through before closing date. Two days later we we were told that our matter had been transferred to Tollers LLP but again it should just be a case of sorting a completion date and Tollers would pick up where Lambert Pugh left off. Biggest lie ever!!! Tollers have to go back towards the beginning, which was nowhere near as complete as we were led to believe. Lack of communication and shear fabrication is unbelievable. Apparently our buyers havent even received enquiries whereas we were informed that this was all completed, to name just one massive issue.

We are on a variable mortgage now and desperate to move but have been left in the mud by Lambert Pugh.

Disgusting treatment from Lambert pugh solicitors. Told they were closing end of March but would continue to deal with our case and would pass everything to Tollers who would be taking over my house purchase. Didn't worry too much as was due to exchange any day. Then an email on Friday to say that Tollers couldn't take the case. Here are your searches, you need to get another solicitor now. FFS.... How can they do this. Now another solicitor will need to trough throw all my emails from them since November to understand we're we are.
Basically all our bad reviews will not matter to them if they are shutting!!!

Very very bad experience as in the middle of the process they sent an email that the company is closing and file will be moved to tollers which obviously didn't happen and 2 days before shutting down they informed us that tillers will not take over as they have already a lot of cases. But we were told that cases will be moved after 28th Feb and this message came before llthe moving date. Clearly dodgy. Now they can transfer the file anywhere and we have to start all over again.

Lots of delays caused by Team 9, resulted in our mortgage offer expiring and our purchase falling through. Asked for a case to be passed to a senior and was told Team 9 was the highest I could go. Appears they don’t have managers at Lambert and Pugh. Was emailed asking for my bank details to return leftover funds and told I would get a call to confirm my bank details. Not heard a thing.

Edit: I have since had a refund minus the cost of searches. I asked they refund the admin costs. Heard nothing.

I am told if you go to the Ombudsman the complaint will follow the solicitor/s the complaint is about so don’t be put off taking a case to Ombudsman because Lambert and Pugh are closing.

This firm stopped trading halfway through a purchase. They have sent me an email saying we attached everything for your new solicitors they have attached only what I sent them. Tollers solicitors was supposed take and have now not honoured that promise.
Sicked massively and dropped me right in it.

Utterly terrible experience from team 9, they failed to point out a key aspect of the process which resulted in huge delays in the process and we were only using them for a purchase. Sad as we wanted to use a local firm but appears that they just take on new customers for the payments, they have no empathy don't seem to care about their clients do not respond to emails do not respond to COMPLAINTS and all round very very slow and a lack of urgency, avoid at all costs

They agreed to take on my sale and purchase. Took initial payment from me and 3 weeks later having started on my sale announced they didn’t have conveyancers for my onward purchase. No customer loyalty and you get what you pay for. Avoid.

They did everything they said they would.
Staff were helpful and contactable.
Good value.

Fast and efficient service from Team 9.

After being though a few conveyancing experiences. Lambert Pugh has so far been the best and would consider using them again in the future.

They did aways answer questions in a timely manner, updated the case status via their app as soon as progress was made and did not hesitate to chase the other party on issues.

I've used Lambert Pugh for several house sales & always get 1st class service at an a reasonable price, I won't use anybody else,
This house sale was testing at times with the buyers solicitor asking irelavant & repeating questions,
But we got there in the end thanks to Susie & her associate's in team 7

This is the second time I have used Lambert Pugh now with a property purchase/sale and I honestly cannot recommend them enough.

This time I worked with Team 7 - Susie and her team was absolutely amazing. Quick responses, always happy to answer any questions, always available on the phone if needed. They also chased third parties quickly and kept me up to speed with everything.

Everything was clear, done effectively and quickly, with prompt answers to queries that arose. No hidden fees.

The rates are very competitive and to keep them so you are expected to respond to things as requested. But that is good also because you are guided in what you need to do - so don't need to think about it for yourself. Susie and Sandra were always friendly and polite guiding me. They knew what they were doing and were very accurate and efficient.

If you want a custom service then pay 5x more and use a non-specialist solicitor firm,

Not only the cheapest with 'no completion no fee' (when local solicitors were quoting £250 per hour regardless of completion) I cannot fault Lambert Pugh for their speed, efficiency and accuracy. Completion within 3 weeks? Astounding! I was notified and kept up to date every step of the way. Their smart phone app is a brilliant tool that you may download and use if you wish (full instructions and info supplied) but regardless, I received email updates promptly with the agent and other parties copied in. I never visited their offices once, as it was simply unnecessary. I would give 10 stars if this were possible and my estate agent, who strongly advised me not to use online conveyancing services was astonished and is now recommending LP to all her clients! I recommend Susie Dove of T7 and the wonderful senior assistant Sandra Carter.

Competitively priced, decent app platform, very efficient communication and just got the job done in the time frame I needed. Big thanks to Susie and Sandra from Team 7. I would use them again in future.

A silky smooth experience in selling after a similar one in buying a few years ago. Their app is a great tool. Business like and efficient. What more could you want in a conveyancer?
