I was having a big problem with the purchase of a DoorDash gift card
I was sending to a friend. Nobody at DoorDash was able to resolve my problem, over the course of two chats and a long phone conversation. When I finally saw that I could use Gift card launch for my problem, they were able to solve it for me almost immediately upon me providing the information that DoorDash had been unable to do anything with !

Hideous, never delt with such a bad company. Airbnb unhook your wagon from this useless company before they take you down the drain with them. Stay far away from them! After more than a week and several hours on the phone by me, the recipient of the gift card, and several hours by my daughter in-law the buyer of the gift card, the problem was never resolved. A complete run-around. Launch told me to have the buyer call, I did. Launch told my daughter in-law to have me call. She sent proof of payment from her bank statement and yet the issue, most likely a corrupt link, that is all, was never fixed. Even Airbnb could not open the link to the gift card. Way more than a joke, a complete absence of job ethics on the part of Launch, and each person that we spoke with that was unable to fix what I would call an average problem. This is dated Jan. 3 2024, the issue started Christmas 2023. Is there is an issue? Well I guess not since my daughter in-law drove copies of the thread to her bank and put a stop payment on the transaction. Dear Launch or better Airbnb call me we can talk about it. Joanne
On of Jan. 4 I was told to have to have the purchaser contact them (see above she already did) and was informed that the cards are country specific. Yes, I explained to lady on first day that Washington and California are in the same country and the problem was opening it. Anybody read a thread before they reply, I already asked that on the first day. The problem is and always has been: the link will not work. As far as asking them to help open the link that is all we have ever done. The issue was never resolved therefore I never responded YES to their question was resolved. I did however respond NO I still need assistance. Via phone and in writing. Three gift cards were purchased on that day, two of the links worked fine, one mine did not. And since I'm at it: This is a different problem, I tried 4 times to buy an Airbnb gift card and had the same issue as others have had, the bank kicked it as fraud, two different banks that is two times each (and yes each bank was called between my attempt to purchase) and yet the purchase was declined.

Order Declined.
Just like everyone else leaving reviews here, they will take your money and say that your order got declined. (You will receive an email after your purchase and payment details are entered.)
They will then post a response to this review saying that they have nothing to do with the payment processor (which is themselves) and say that there is nothing they can do. Just take a look at all of the other reviews here.

This site doesn't work in Puerto Rico. I received an airbnb gift card, and can't use it. Pretty frustrating especially since airbnb is such an international company.

Apparently AirBnB outsources their gift card purchases to launchgiftcards.com. What a mistake. Launchgiftcards does not work, does not care, and does not respond. This all reflects very poorly on my impression of AirBnB. I have tried at least a dozen times to purchase an AirBnB gift card from their site, redirecting me to launchgiftcards and after my credit card company approved it, it was quickly declined by the launchgiftcards payment portal. I have spent hours on the phone with AirBnB support and they are useless. I called my credit card company that assured me that they are approving the purchase and that there is no issue on their end. They are the only party involved that investigated this further and were able to tell me that the issue is related to the launchgiftcard payment portal. I suspect that they have everything on autopilot and assume that between the softwared and AI they don't need any humans to pay for doing anything here, thus no answers, no service, many problems. Extremely disappointing.

Tried 3 different credit cards on multiple days and it always says declined. Banks say it's not being declined on their end, and Launch Gift Card support is no help at all.
EDIT: Anyone looking for Airbnb gift cards should go to Amazon. They are available there without any of the crap from this company.

I've been trying to purchase a gift card and have several times been declined on the site. but my credit card keeps showing the charges, and after multiple calls to my bank have confirmed there's no flag on my card. The charges are still pending on my account but there's no gift card.
Can someone please contact me and respond to my emails.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When you reach out, an automated bot sends a message, which absolutely makes sense. However, it does say to reply to speak to a live individual. Responses never actually answer the question. They never want to actually help you. I will never purchase a gift card from this company again.

I paid for a £200 airbnb gift card and after contacting customer support they told me that the gift card was redeemed at a specific time, even though the gift card recipient (my mother) had not even received the email from airbnb at that time. Please can someone from contact support contact me.

Shockingly slow customer service. If anything goes wrong you're on your own...I would not recommend you purchase any vouchers from them. Terrible experience I'm really not sure why all the big comapnies like Airbnb are using this company to provide their vouchers. Rubbish!

Should have read reviews…… Ordered a $200 uber gift card on credit, long story short my credit card says the transaction went through and that my next due date is coming, meanwhile Launch Gift Cards maintains a standpoint that the charge never went through which makes no sense you can CLEARLY look into the computer and see that my charge did go through unless your using Windows Vista from 1999. I have never had a charge denied and even just paid off my credit card entirely and LGC says my transaction was declined even though I was charged and already made 1/4 payments on it. This is my own fault for bot reading the reviews I guess

I have requested reimbursement of three (3) charges that have been deducted from my account in the name of Launch gift card, first $75.00, second $50.00 and third $25.00. These were taken from my account yesterday, 9/11/23 under email in the name of James M or Brenda J McAdams. Three times I tried to get info and reimburse for the above amounts and can't get a reply from your corp. You have listed fraudulent policy, yet you will not reply. We received an Airbnb gift card as a wedding gift. After reviewing here, it was with great trepidation that we tried the redemption on Airbnb’s site. It was flawless - we were immediately credited with the gift card amount. Scam? No. Perhaps some user error and corporate growing pains. Seems good to go now.
