Had a remortgage with transfer of equity. Although it did appear to take some time to complete and some unnecessary delays Sonya was always polite and contactable and would answer questions as quickly as she could. I would recommend people use these as they are helpful in all ways

Sonya has been attentive and supportive in my title transfer application with the land registry. She has remained contactable and efficient throughout and has been proactive and professional in her support to move my application through in as timely a manner as possible under the current backlog. I am selling a flat and the buyers chose to use this conveyancing practice over a reputable local solicitor presumably to save a few pounds. What a mistake, the firm is dealing with matters at a snails pace, will not speak to their client over the phone( only via email) and the delays are causing undue stress for all. My advise, always use a local reputable solicitors practice if you want to reduce the stress of moving house

Law and Lawyers were the buyer’s Solicitors when I recently sold a property. Simply put, they were awful.

Took a full month from instruction before sending for searches which they only did after lots of chasing from the estate agent and their client.

Were non -responsive for weeks on end during the process and clearly had not read the documentation they were provided with as the queries they raised were not relevant or had already been explained in the information they’d already received.

If they’d been representing me I would asked for some money back, they were an embarrassment to Solicitors and I did end up telling them this towards the end of the process.

I beg that no one uses this firm! They are dealing with the conveyancing for the buyer of my current property. Memorandum of sale was issued 1st week of May with estimation of completion end of July. We sit at the end of August and there is no sign of an exchange let alone a completion date. Holding the chain up for weeks, no communication, no reason why, just absolute incompetence across the board. Querying items that have been answered earlier on in the process, costing everyone money in the chain with the delay.

These guys have literally taken all the fun and joy out of moving and purchasing a new property. The Law Society should absolutely be auditing this firm and closing them for good!

Please AVOID for your own peace of mind, there are tons of decent solicitors around, Law & Liars are not one of them.

We referred a case to Sonya, this was a complicated case but she did an amazing job for the client. The communication was really good and she managed to get it all completed in 8 weeks- very impressed and great service!
