the out and in going was very good like it always is but this time coming back was a very long long delay at the point where yoo go to get on the train after it had let 2 cars through the than we stop with no one to tell us why this had happen and hours later of all the cars not one knew why we been stuck there with no one tell us what the very long long delay was and after the time slot had past many hours still waiting for a train with no one had no ideal what was the delay may be it FRIDAY 13th ?

Quick and easy the way to travel to France and return.

Great service, easy to check in and board. Only taken one star away has had a 2 hour delay on return journey

The service on this trip was faultless

So easy from browsing times and prices, to checking and impressed how quickly we get from exiting the train to the motorway both on the UK and the France side - less than 40 seconds! Really appreciate the flexibility to take a train just before or after as traffic is unpredictable, please never change this ☺️

Great journey back from France. The terminal was empty and we got placed on the next available train for no cost. Very quick boarding and the usual 35 minute crossing.

I travelled back from Calais last summer by P&O Ferry and it was chaos. I was 2 hours early and they put me on a later ferry than I was booked on. I vowed never to use them again.

This trip (Feb 2026 and March 2026) I booked with Le Shuttle. Everything was so much better. Check in was automated in both directions. On both journeys, I was offered an earlier train, if I wanted it. It was really straightforward to get there and to follow signs to boarder control etc. (They could tell you to follow boarder control signs in their e mail). Both trains left and arrived punctually. There is a terminal with food, drinks, toilets etc at both Folkestone and Calais… much better than the ferry, where there is very little.

I will never go by ferry again following this experience.

We are fortunate to be able to travel at quieter times, so very rarely experience delays. But as usual, the Eurotunnel team were helpful and efficient. We had arrived a lot earlier than expected, but the advice we were given at the desk, meant we could get straight on the train, and fortunately at no extra cost. Thanks again Team Eurotunnel….

Need better signage in Calais from city Europe

The overall experiance was good, only cricticism would be arrived in plenty of time, queued where asked when time ready to board to be told that train was fully booked.We were put on the next train which almost made us miss our connecting train in Calais.

All good except extra charge of £84 to bring the time of return travel!!!

The experience is so slick and professional from booking on line through taking the journey on the Tunnel. We took our pet dog and the checking in process was so quick and easy. There are plenty of outlets and eateries at the terminal and it is so good that you can take your pet in with you, rather than leaving them alone in the car.

We arrived a lot earlier than our booked travel time as we expected to have to register for the EES scheme, but were advised that it isn't starting until April (just in time for one of the busiest times of the year - Easter!), which seems ludicrous. It's annoying that we'll probably get caught up in registering on our trip at Easter and likely miss our train if registering is going to be as bad as the airports! As we arrived at the terminal so early we were offered an earlier train, which meant that we arrived at our destination before it got dark. We didn't use any of the facilities at the terminal, but the train left on time.

Trains are starting to show their age - toilets mostly out of use. Tickets are now quite restrictive and take no account of possible delays for example at the Dartford Crossing. Previously if you were delayed there was the possibility of getting another crossing when @available without forfeiting the ticket both out and back.

Great service! They were very accommodating when we arrived early for our outward journey and just as accommodating when we arrived a bit late for our homeward journey! The french security on france side was really really slow but other than that everything was great.

Easy to use on line booking system. Easy check in. We were given the option to catch an earlier train which was useful. Staff were excellent at check in and passport control.

Very good access on Uk ans France side.

But only criticism, us sgould have a waiting area for cars etc, when comming off the Shuttle on the French side, to allowing planning and resetting SatNav.
Because Internet cut whilst on train in tunnel.
Has came off the Shuttle and did not know which direction route to take has had no immediate Internet connection.
