Amazing Customer Support

I had issues updating my new device due to poor cell service at home but the support team was awesome and replaced my device with one that was already updated! It is working great now and I have NEVER had such great customer support from any company as I have experienced with Link My Pet

Good "Will" Hunting Peace of mind with the Link!

I love this new link and the new technology that comes with it along with a stronger peace of mind. I have a Lab named "WILL" who went missing for TWO weeks after jumping out at the carwash. It was nothing short of a needle in a haystack to secure his return, but by some miracle, and a lot of support from the community, he was located. Well, the Link purchase following that ordeal was a no brainer, a must have and while I appreciated the technology and price of the original Link, the new smaller design and GPS capability is a huge confident booster in keeping track of Will!. The best part of the new link is the battery life as it uses minimal power when your pet is designated in one of its "safe Places." We travel a lot back and forth to our second home 500 miles away and it is so easy to set up his safe haven there as well. The new design fits easy on his collar with features such as lights and tones for your pet. It has heat and cold alerts, activity log and the ability to record your pet's adventures. The tracking feature on your phone is user friendly and accurate!!
More importantly, is the customer service you'll find at Link which is second to none with follow up and tech support you won't believe. I called Nichole when I actually lost the actual Link and she was able to tell me where I placed it last. I cannot say enough about this product and its company. I highly recommend it and you'll find the daily use unlike any other product, is hassle free and becomes part of your pet's daily routine.

Peace of Mind

I adopted a sweet escape artist 5 years ago. The first time she ran away was 3 days after we got her and she is still finding ways to escape for an adventure. The Link collar has given me peace of mind and helped me find her on several occasions. The first version of the Link collar was good but the new one is wonderful. It holds a charge for a long time and sends an alert to your phone when you need to recharge. There is a light you can turn on from your phone so I can see her at night in the back yard.
Customer service is amazing! Every time I have called, I have been able to speak to someone right away. They are always polite and very helpful. They have replaced broken parts and walked me through rebooting my Link. I am very pleased with this product!

Love this new Link unit and highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this new Link unit. It is so much smaller and easier to use than the older model. I love the ability to use a noise or vibrate signal when my pet wanders too far off.

Customer service has been amazing both with the older model and this newer unit. They have been responsive to my questions and concerns, worked with me to iron out a few kinks at the beginning and keep me constantly updated on new updates being introduced.

Thank you for the kind words Carol! And here's a new tip for you: the tone now has multiple options. In your Link My Pet app when you're connected and "Roxy is with you" hold your finger down on the tone button. A pop-up bubble will let you set the sound to "Happy" or "Clicker" for different training purposes with more on the way!

Link Helped Me Find A Ghost

i have been using the link devices on both dogs. my rottweiler never gives me any issues :) however my 8 month old husky pup tries everything he can to escape! I was SOO relieved when i was able to get on the Link My Pet app & instantly tracked where ghost had ran off to. He was 3 blocks away in another neighbors backyard. He was located & brought back home safely :) :) :) i would not have known where to start looking if it weren't for Link. I absolutely love this product after having it now for just over a month!

This new Link system was definitely designed with pups like your Ghost in mind! Not only does the Link use 3 out of the 4 major GPS satellite systems, it also has a Collar WiFi backup in the event that your pup might ever wander anywhere there's no line of sight to a GPS satellite-- because you never know what kind of mischief a husky pup might try to get into!

This is a bad product and worse company…

This is a bad product and worse company do not buy. Sold me the collar and I live where AT&T cell service is not available then when I activated the collar then I find out it won't work never got any service they kept part of my activation fee because I was unable to call them back immediately to verify address but I had sent an email. And to make matters worse while I was trusting the collar to work the neighbor was shooting at my dog with a 9mm. These people suck and are crooks

You definitely had quite an experience and our entire team was happy to hear that Bernie made it out safely! However, I do want to clear up some information. What is most significant about your failed tracking session where Bernie was in danger, is that the Link battery had completely drained the day prior and not turned back on until two days after the incident. And even if you would have had the Link powered ON, you denied Location permissions for the Link My Pet app, which would have prevented our system from being allowed to transmit Bernie's locations to your phone. Unfortunately, without power or permissions there was no way for the Link device to respond. Our team reached out to you immediately after your initial contact with us and provided several different options, including the direct contact information of one of our agents to accommodate your schedule. When you completed the cancellation as per the agreements in your Terms of Service at activation, you were refunded 11 months out of your 12 month pre-paid contract since you had activated the device and used it for several days. Pre-paid Annual and Biennial Service Plans are always refundable for unused months.

I would also like to clarify that you did not purchase the Link AKC system from us. You purchased the device on November 9, 2017 from Link AKC, but didn't activate it until last month. The Link AKC company was sold in 2019 to our current ownership team, Link My Pet. We've been sending you emails since the regarding the ownership change, the upgrades available to the system, the sunsetting of the AT&T 3G network and our new device. Regrettably, we didn't hear back from you until after this terrible event with Bernie.

And while we can't go back in time, with Bernie's safety as our number one priority, our offer still stands to move forward with you and assist with upgrading to the new Link system--one with the flexibility and capabilities of giving you quick and accurate updates to where your pup is when you need it and the technology to support you and Bernie through your lifetime together.

I would like to say that although the product was not perfect for my puppies I received excellent customer service from Kandice. She was extremely kind and understanding. She had also informed me of a newer product line coming in July. She is a wonderful employee. You are very lucky to have a person of her quality working for you.

Amazing Custom

Been a user of Link for about 4 years and the customer service has been AMAZING. After the 2nd year, the batter life started getting bad and they sent me a replacement unit right away. My most recent experience was with Nichole and I cannot give her enough kudos. I just ordered the new, smaller model as the old model is a bit bulky for our little Yorkie.

Worse of the worse

Worse of the worse. Fraud, fraud, fraud! Continued to charge my Visa after pet had passed. Try 4 years and never offered to fix the issue. On top of that just got an email that said they mistakenly billed me for another account because my address was close to the additional charge. Awful company and business practices!

Thank you for reaching out here Diane. I hope you also received the voicemail message that was left for you earlier. And let me apologize if you misunderstood the email and I hope I can provide some additional clarification here.

The account that you could verify with Aimee's email address was cancelled when you contacted us for the first time on May 12, 2021. Our service plan policy is available on our website and has always been an auto-renewing subscription, so that in an emergency situation the tracking feature would never be compromised because of an inadvertently overlooked billing period and designed with the safety of our customers' pets as a priority. For this same reason we would never cancel an account with the assumption that it wasn't going to be used again in the future.

That subscription policy was agreed to upon activation, but I can understand how you might have been unaware since it was someone else that activated the account on your behalf. Unfortunately with her providing her email address, instead of yours, you wouldn't have directly received any correspondence from us.

An email invitation was also sent to her email address to provide access to our billing portal to manage and view your subscriptions information, because we do want to have full transparency with our customers. But again, with the account set up under another name and email address, Aimee would have had to be the one to pass along the information.

We reviewed your phone conversation with Maggie when you said that there were two charges that processed. The Biennial Service Plan for your Josie is the only plan that you could verify with a name and email address and was immediately cancelled and refunded for all eligible service plan time. Searching by your name and all other information that you provided to Maggie, she was unable to find any other plan that might be associated to you. In that phone conversation you said, "You know what, take care of the $168. I'm gonna call my daughter. If it's under hers, maybe she's done something" so our team started looking for a second account that might be active.

And a second account was found with the same billing address and activated two days after the account that you verified. A quick internet search indicated you were related to the account holder of that Annual service plan, which is why we reached out to you to verify information for cancellation and refund of that account.

We absolutely want to do everything we can to help you resolve the issue and our team is here to help whenever you are ready to work with us!

Really bad overall experience

Really bad overall experience. The app had absolutely no value to me and my pet. No coverage in the areas where I needed it to work and the product battery is horrible. On top of that I ask to cancel my account and they bill me for the next month with the excuse that in order to cancel I have to call them personally because an email from my account email address is not enough. This is BS. People are busy and this is clearly a way to postpone cancelation process. DONT FALL FOR THIS THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK.

Hi Paula! Our team absolutely apologizes that the Link experience was less than you expected. When you first purchased the system in 2017 we were unable to provide service to the system since you were living in Columbia and were excited to see you finally able to activate when you moved within the United States. Unfortunately, your system was operating on 3 year old technology and our tech team was unable to reach you through a series of emails to get the system updated. With using the original Firmware 1.1.11 you definitely wouldn't have had the coverage or functionality to provide your pup with the extra layer of security the system can provide. And without the Link ever being powered ON on the base station during your one day of use, our system was unable to automatically update the Link for you.

Shannon was happy to finally be able to speak with you regarding your cancellation request to make sure the monthly service plan was finalized. Our Privacy Policy was not implemented to be a negative experience for our customers, but to instead to protect your privacy, especially in regards to the cellular service plan. And with the cancellation of your plan coming two weeks after the monthly billing period, without speaking with you the system had again auto-renewed for Tsuki's Link system. The cancellation and refund policies are always available for review on our website Help Center under the "Troubleshooting" section: https://www.linkmypet.com/help-center

We thank you for giving the Link system a try and our tech team's offer still stands to provide you assistance in getting Tsuki's Link updated with the latest software. Otherwise, we wish you and your pup the best!

I have an escape artist

I have an escape artist, I was with whistle/tagg for years, switch to fi because whistle just wasnt sturdy enough, fi was absolutely horrible, definately sturdy and long battery life, however at least 4 times a day we got a notification dog had left the safety zone when she was clearly right next to me. Its terribly annoying when the alert goes off at 3 a.m. The link system is sturdy and tracking is very accurate, the battery life leaves a lot to be desired but it works as claimed. Definately happy with the device, purchased in October saw someone said there was to be a new version with longer battery life, but that version is not out yet hope i didnt pull the trigger too soon. We will see.

I bought this product 3 years ago and…

I bought this product 3 years ago and signed up with a 3 year plan. I maybe used the device one or two times total. Then it sat in the garage and was never touched. 3 years later I get a charge on my card for $198. I saw the charge and cancelled it with the company immediately. I was told by the first representative that I was getting a full
Refund. Then I see the refund but it was short $9.95, the manager emailed me and said I didn’t call quickly enough to cancel and charged me for a whole month of use when I haven’t used it for 3 years now. Their “manager” sounded like a 13 year old girl with terrible customer service skills. The only thing she could say was that she “understood” but was not willing to help, and in the middle of a pandemic no less. I would never recommend this company due to their horrible customer service and down right robbery Of their former customers.

All of our service plans are automatically renewing because we would never want a pup to be without the protection of the Link system because of an inadvertently overlooked billing period! That commitment also extends to not canceling an account because of non-use. We never want to make an assumption that the customer doesn't want us to continue paying for activation of their Link in the cellular network, which is why we would never want to cancel an account without speaking with the registered owner. Our agents were happy to speak with you and finalize your cancellation request, however, since you contacted us 8 days past the renewal notice, your Link was again paid to be activated in the cellular network, as well as the 24/7 Pet Poison Hotline. This is why the Monthly Service Plan charge was deducted from your prepaid refund. We also want to assure you that we have several programs available for current customers who wish to continue with us, but are unable to afford to do so because of the implications of the pandemic. If you would like more information about those programs, please don't hesitate to reach back out to the Link Customer Care Department.

The Link holder is large and did not…

The Link holder is large and did not stay on the collar very well. The end metal hooks would come loose from the collar and leave the device hanging by one end. Also, the middle clip on the base device did not stay on the collar, it would come off greater than 5 times in a 3 mile walk. I was constantly having to watch the device to be sure I did not lose it. The app worked well in keeping track of my dog. I liked the hot & cold warnings as well.

I am no longer using the device. When I called for advice on how the device fit the collar, I learned that Link 3 will be released in October. It will be 1/3 the size of current device plus the battery life is supposed to be greater than 30 days, compared to 3 days. If I had known about Link 3 before I ordered this device in August, I would have waited. I will be trading out my device for a Link 3 as soon as it is released.

The activity feature is the only reason…

The activity feature is the only reason I gave it 2 stars. It's kinda neat and the collar has a light on it you can turn off and on by phone. Which I like. The tracking is awful. 90 percent of the time is "unable to track my pets last location". And the battery runs out within hours if you are in tracking mode. So if your pet is away from home all day, you'll lose him within a few hours. Not in tracking mode it lasts about a day and a half. No good for tracking country dog. May work better in the city.

First month using this and so far so good.

First month using this and we're very happy with it. We have two Huskies, both two years old the they play rough with each other. The device is low profile so they do not grab on to the Link on the other and try to pull it off (an issue with other devices). Also happy with the leather collar.

I trust my Link GPS to keep my dog safe.

I have used the Link GPS for my dog for three years. The app is easy to use and it provides accurate location for peace of mind when I’m away from home or should he get lost. While it is easy to charge the Link every other day or so, longer battery life would make it a ten rating.
