Absolutely unacceptable experience with Livspace.
This has been the worst and most mentally exhausting customer experience I have ever faced.
I paid Livspace for a project. I cancelled it. It has now been more than three months and my money is still not refunded.

More than 10 reminders. Multiple emails. Continuous follow ups. Zero resolution. Zero accountability. Barely any response.
Once they received the payment, responsiveness dropped. After cancellation, there has been complete silence. Holding a customer’s money for months without resolution is unacceptable and shows complete disregard for customers.
Do not be misled by the generic apology replies under reviews. In my experience, nothing changes after that. There is no follow through and no ownership.
This situation has caused serious mental stress and financial strain. I have escalated the matter to consumer authorities and am in discussion with my lawyer.I strongly advise anyone considering advance payment to think very carefully.
Extremely Dissatisfied with Livspace
My experience with Livspace has been extremely disappointing. A modular kitchen that was promised within one month took 6–7 months to complete. The delays were constant, with poor communication, no ownership, and multiple escalations ignored.
After collecting the 10% advance, Livspace drastically increased the budget and refused a refund, forcing me to continue. The service was overpriced, the assigned designer lacked professionalism, and even agreed freebies were delayed due to internal mismanagement.
Because of this prolonged delay, I lost the opportunity to rent out the property for nearly seven months, resulting in avoidable financial loss. Overall, Livspace failed on timelines, transparency, and customer service. Choosing Livspace was a serious mistake.

We visited the Livspace store where the manager Nishith Rawal clearly told us to do the booking by paying ₹25,000 and assured us that we could cancel within 2 days of the locking period and get a full refund. Based on his assurance, we proceeded with the booking.
We cancelled the project within 24 hours, well within the promised time. However, when we tried to cancel and request the refund through the Livspace Hub site, it did not work and kept showing errors like “bank details not verified.” Because of Livspace’s own technical issues, we were unable to complete the process online.
After 2 days, the team finally contacted us and took our bank details via Google Form, which itself looks highly unprofessional for a company of this scale. Since then, there has been no update at all on the refund status.
Now the manager Nishith Rawal is not picking up calls and not responding to messages, and customer support is completely silent. This is extremely frustrating and feels like deliberate avoidance once the money is taken.
This is misleading, unethical, and highly unprofessional behavior. False promises are made at the store just to collect booking amounts, and once the customer cancels, Livspace stops responding. I strongly warn others: do not trust verbal assurances and do not pay any booking amount unless you are ready to lose it.
Worst experience — poor quality, delays, and no accountability
Completely mismanaged my project. Wrong measurements, poor coordination, and zero communication between teams. AC and geyser installations were done incorrectly, with visible pipe mess. Multiple items were damaged and never fixed.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Livspace (ID 2862238 ) and feel compelled to share it so others can be aware before making a decision.
1️⃣ Very poor experience overall — The entire process felt misleading and nowhere close to what was promised during booking.
2️⃣ Material quality is extremely disappointing — The materials used in my project were far below expectations and not what was shown or discussed initially.
3️⃣ Carpentry work was pathetic — Finishing was poor, alignment issues everywhere, and the workmanship did not match the standards they claim.
4️⃣ Project not delivered on time — There were continuous delays with no proper updates. Every milestone kept getting pushed without explanation.
5️⃣ Unprofessional & arrogant behaviour — Many team members came across as rude and unprofessional. Instead of solving problems, they made the situation more stressful.
6️⃣ Constant follow-ups required — Nothing moved unless I followed up repeatedly. I had to call again and again just to get basic progress on the work.
Overall, I regret choosing Livspace. My experience has been extremely frustrating and I hope they take accountability and improve their service.

Worst Interior designer who does not even know how to design.
I went with Live Space for the kitchen in Hyderabad. We paid 6 lakh just for the kitchen, and now, after moving in, we are not even able to place the plates in the drawers. When we raised a complaint, they came up saying it was a design issue and couldn't do anything, but would offer some compensation.

BIG MISTAKE HIRING LIVSPACE CHANDIGARH
I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Livspace Chandigarh. While my decision was influenced by the numerous positive reviews, my actual experience was completely contrary and raises serious concerns about professionalism and transparency.
Once the payment was made, the level of responsiveness and accountability declined significantly. There appeared to be no effective mechanism for escalation, and most concerns were met with the response that nothing further could be done. This left me with no meaningful recourse as a customer.
A particularly concerning aspect was the handling of scope. Items were not clearly de-scoped upfront; however, additional requirements were readily introduced later, accompanied by demands for extra payment. This practice created the impression of deliberate ambiguity rather than clear, customer-centric planning.
Overall, the experience reflected unprofessional conduct, poor communication, and a lack of ownership once financial commitments were secured. Based on my experience, I would urge prospective customers to proceed with caution and ensure every detail is explicitly documented before engaging with Livspace Chandigarh.

What a horrible experience till now with this brand. Am waiting for the product to be pick up since 28th Nov. My return was cancelled for no reason with no attempt. Trauma started when I started calling them. I have only been told its escalated & tomorrow it will be pick but...everyday I call , same wording , statement I get. No one is willing to take the ownership. Today only the rep said I will get a call in evening, which i know I will never get . First time customer with the worse experience ever till now. I am writing this honest review to share my experience with Livspace’s after-sales services. We had two projects executed by Livspace in Sector 81, Gurgaon, and unfortunately the support we received afterwards has been extremely disappointing.

We got a cabinet made in the balcony with a sink on top for washing utensils. Right at the beginning, we clearly informed the design team that since this is an open space and exposed to wind, they must make a strong arrangement so that the hinges do not become loose.
However, just after the project was completed, I had to call Livspace twice because the screws became loose on their own — and this cabinet is hardly used once a day.
Today, during a serious discussion with Mr. Vishal from Livspace, he completely blamed us for the hinge issue. He rudely stated that either “wind or manhandling” caused the hinge to break, and that it is not covered, so we must pay for it. After a lot of persuasion, he finally agreed to replace it as a “goodwill gesture,” which itself shows that the fault lies in workmanship.

The cabinet door below the sink has swollen, and three handles have also swollen. When I requested replacement, I was again told that water must have dripped continuously for 24–48 hours, and that we “did not wipe it.”
This is completely unrealistic — no one would allow water to continuously drip on furniture for 24 hours. This is just another attempt to put the blame on the customer so they do not have to replace the defective items free of cost.
Livspace charges a high amount but offers no real guarantee or responsibility once the project is completed. Every issue is blamed on the customer, and the after-sales service is practically an eye wash. On top of that, the behaviour of the staff, especially Mr. Vishal, was extremely rude.

Livspace is a big looter. They trap customers and squeeze their money by giving all wrong designs and quotations. They wouldn’t stand on their promises at all.
LIVSPACE - PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Totally unprofessional company that is dressed up in a professional garb.
I wanted to engage them to do some civil work in a new apartment in Mumbai.
They gave me a quote that I was happy to proceed with. They asked me to a pay a 10% deposit which I did. Once they received the deposit, they increased the overall quote by 200%! stating that they had overlooked certain factors on the original quote and that due to that they would have to revise the quote. There was absolutely no change in the scope of the work!
The new quote was outside my budget so I asked them to refund me the deposit. They refused to pay the deposit saying that the work done to the point of providing the quote had to be paid for and they would therefore not refund the deposit back.
Had I not accepted their quote in the first place we would have just parted ways without I having to pay anything so applying the logic that the deposit money will be offset for providing the quote makes no sense to me! Further, at the time of first engagement they said quotes are not charged for!
This happened December 2024 and today almost a year later, I am still chasing them to get a refund with not much success.
They lure you into paying money and trap you by "adjusting" their quote for unforseen extras!
If you go with them - do so with money you are willing to lose altogether and dont complain as your pleas will fall on deaf ears. Also be prepared to pump in a lot more money than the initial quote as they will certainly find ways to bill you on additionals.
I have shared my personal experience. Now its upto you to choose wisely!

I’m an NRI living in the UK and own a flat in Sobha Dream Acres, Bangalore. I hired Livspace for interior work, expecting professional service and good-quality materials. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
The work was done unprofessionally, with poor-quality materials and finishing. The drawers are coming out, the kitchen sink is flooding, and there are many unresolved issues. Several items that were part of the project have not been delivered, despite full payment.
I paid for premium work, but what I received is nowhere near the promised standard. To make matters worse, their team is not responding properly to queries or complaints.
As an NRI who trusted Livspace from abroad, I feel completely let down.

Urgent Appeal for Justice: Malpractices by Livspace Interior Design.
I am writing this post under immense financial strain and mental agony to bring to light the deeply concerning and allegedly unethical practices by Livspace - Interior Design Studio (specifically the office at Shiv Shrushti CHS Ltd, New Link Road, Kandivali West, Mumbai).
I am a victim of alleged malpractices concerning our home interior project (Project ID 3799432). We are now financially trapped and have been unable to secure a rightful refund, despite the company being fully aware of the distress this has caused.
Crucially, the delay in our project appears to have been intentional. Team members, including Payal Vardakar, Hiral Makwana, and Ravi Chauhan, along with their senior manager, allegedly delayed the project by providing incorrect feasibility assessments of the site. We were later informed by an employee that this deliberate stalling is a standard practice at the Kandivali Branch, designed to frustrate customers into discontinuing their projects. Furthermore, we were told that Regional Head Neeraj Darbiwala provides instructions on how to ensure customers are financially trapped through manipulative communication.
This is not an isolated incident. My subsequent research, social media conversations, and discussions with honest former employees strongly suggest a pattern of fraudulent activities and malpractices targeted at unsuspecting customers. This is a matter of crucial public trust and consumer protection.
I am formally demanding:
Immediate intervention to resolve my case and secure the full, rightful refund.
An investigation into the alleged pattern of fraudulent and unethical business practices by Livspace, specifically the practices at the Kandivali Branch, to protect future consumers.

Extremely disappointing experience. I would strongly advise against using LiveSpace. The management is incredibly unprofessional, and the customer service is non-existent. I’ve wasted 6 months with absolutely no progress, and all I’ve received are vague promises. The team doesn't respond to messages, and there’s no accountability at all. The designers lack any real creativity — their work is essentially just copy-pasting ideas from elsewhere. The Nashik team, in particular, is the worst. Zero customer satisfaction and zero professionalism. If you value your time and money, stay far away from LiveSpace.
