Everything went smoothly, I was provided the exact vehicle I had reserved.

The vehicle was great for our family of 7 adults and 14 pieces of luggage.

The difficulty was trying to communicate using WhatsApp. No response from the company we got the car from Locauto.

Booking process and selection of vehicle was very easy. Price/package was very competitive.
An area of improvement is the signage to indicate where the office for pick up is. This is a desk in a broader tourism offer office. There was a small promotional flag outside the entrance but with significant queues extending outside the entrance (for the hop on hop off and train ticket products), this was obscured. It took us some time to locate the office.
Also, I had booked an estate vehicle to specifically accommodate 3 large bags and 3 small bags (per the quote spec) but was given a hatchback which really only could accommodate a large bag and and intermediate one. This was a bit problematic and we had to use space inside the vehicle with the passengers. I would have expected a similar vehicle to what was booked. That said, the vehicle was good quality and we made it work.

E' stata richiesta indietro la vettura, dopo tre giorni, sebbene fosse stato autorizzato sino al 5 agosto da Fiat come vettura sostituiva. Sostenendo che non era arrivata la mail di conferma della proroga e non competeva alla filiale locauto verificare che ci fosse questa autorizzazione.

Medaglia d'oro!!.. completamente soddisfatto prezzi onesti .auto ottime. Il personale che mi ha servito eccellenti e superlative!! Preparati.seri quando bisogna essere .nessuno tempo perso .precisione assoluta.! Massima collaborazione col cliente....

All went well, except the return in Rome.
They charged me a 42Euro service charge when I returned the van. This charge was because the tank was just shy of a full tank. I needed about 2 liters of gas. There is no way to fill the tank and get the rental back in Rome without using some of the gas.
That was a cash grab, otherwise the rental was good.

Upon booking, you get the 5 star treatment. Agents are very professional. The problem is the prices only. Locauto is very pricey compared to other car rentals

Alla consegna ho dovuto cercare per la consegna dovrebbero mettere qualcuno giù all'entrata che ti da istruzioni per la consegna veicolo

I booked for small suv VW T-Cross or similar but they give me a hatchback VW golf!!

Personale gentile e competente

The car we got was very dirty inside and out.
Bird crap on it and sand and pet hairs inside.
We took it to a carwash to vacuum it clean.
The windshield washer fluid was almost empty, and was empty by the end of the trip.
We had to wait about 45 minutes to get the car.
