We have trusted Low VA Rates for years. Matthew Johnson went above and beyond all of our expectations. Every time we had a question, every text we sent, every call me made, and every email was answered and returned at lightening speed! What can we say? Exceptional customer service! Exceptional Professionalism! Exceptional Integrity, Outstanding young man!

Jon and I appreciate everything that was done to make our refinance of our home the best experience. Matt Johnson is our financial officer. If I could, I would give him more than five stars! He answered every question with knowledge in a professional manner. Returned every text and phone call and left no stone unturned and got us the best rate. We closed on the date he promised and had absolutely no issues. He is such a blessing! I would highly recommend Low VA rates and Matt Johnson.

Everything was put together well and made easy

I worked with Mari of Low VA Rates to purchase my home. She has been exceptional throughout the process providing resources, credit education, and guidance to this first time home buyer. She was great with communication, always getting back to me whenever I reached out to her. She was personable, not seeing me as just another number. I felt like she really listened to my concerns, and provided viable options . My gratitude for all that she has done to get me to home ownership is endless. I could have not asked for a better leader. I would recommend Mari and Low VA Rates fully .

Low VA Rates, and their President Eric Kandell, are dishonest. Whether or not it was limited to Kandell's lack of leadership, time will tell.

We do know Liz Harris likely knew of the fraud, and possibly other employees.

Low VA Rates claims to care about veterans, but the company allowed, or directly caused, by failure to review a 2017 file, and by allowing fraudulent documents to be in the 2021 file, when Low VA Rates, attempted to lure my disabled veteran husband and I into another fraudulent loan.

Even after the CFPB imposed financial sanctions against Low VA Rates for about 1.8 million dollars, it didn't stop the dishonest company.

Yes, there is a pending lawsuit. We have offered to settle with them, and instead of stepping up, as is the honorable thing, he ran and hid behind a lawyer, who likely doesn't care about truth or fact, just money.

Eric Kandell admitted the fraud was a valid concern, but, said on a streamline it didn't matter because the VA was already the guarantor. For those who don't know what that means -- simply put, it means "Who cares!" since the VA and the U.S. Taxpayer are on the hook!"

DON'T TRUST LOW VA RATES.
The experience and damage is ongoing. We have a hearing in August -- Low VA Rates wants to dismiss the lawsuit. Not happening!

They have the settlement terms.
Disgusting that this company preys upon trusting veteran and their families.

They should be shut down!

Tyler, and his team, did everything in their power to get my loan funded; even while the
HOA and government entities were dragging their feet.

Would definitely use again, Brandon St. Clair and Marissa over exceeded the expectation and assisted with every question and concern with the information needed to complete the process.

Unprofessional service.
We were very unhappy with our experience utilizing Lowvarates.

The company's delays and miscommunication both with us, the buyer and within their own inner circle team, cost us valuable time and loss of money.

We worked hard to always provide exactly what was asked within a short time frame to keep our loan approval moving forward and on time. On the day OF our original closing, Lowvarates mistakenly reviewed our loan and added stipulations to our approval that had already been vetted. They also mistakenly added to our debt ratio amount, a previous loan that already been paid off, stating we were suddenly not within approval numbers. This caused not only great emotional stress, but more delays as we had to work to prove their mistake, which we did.

On the final day of our actual closing, we were again asked for one last document for said approval.

We found this experience to be unprofessional and disconcerting.

The positive was that our personal loan officer kept in good contact with us and worked to help get these issues rectified as vest she could, for which we are grateful.

We hope that this company looks at their mistakes and learns from them for future clients. The home buying process is stressful enough without so many solvable issues causing such a problem for all parties involved.

They did not communicate with me very well throughout the process of the loan. I submitted all the paperwork they requested of me to include my creditors they were going pay off in the cash out refinance. Low VA Rates overlooked one of the accounts that they asked me to submit the payoff balance and account number for. They never once told me any of the accounts would not be paid but there was one that was. I didn't learn of this until after the loan closed. The answer I was given when I asked why was, there wasn't enough money to pay that account off. Yet nobody ever informed me of that. I also learned at the end of the approval process that I paid over $24,000 to take $34,000 out of a VA mortgage in which I had $100,000 in equity. Very disappointing transaction and very poor communication or lack there of. As a Veteran I feel I was treated as a statistic to add to the customer total. this customer was left very disappointed

In my decades of home ownership Low VA Rates was by far the simplest and easiest process, regarding home mortgage finance (refi's). Mari Dean guided me through carefully from start to finish. Every step was easy to understand and easy to complete and do. Her team on occasion helped too, particularly Haley Noble who patiently gathered each and every piece of information and every document. Ms Dean and Ms Noble also took time to ask and make sure I easily understood every step and every action during the process. They treated me with every respect and every kindness, too. In July of 2019, BEFORE the covid-19 pandemic existed, Low VA Rates closed me at the extremely high interest rate of 6.25. Today's rate is 6.29. This is wrong on so many levels. They have been false advertising and exploiting military veterans with low credit scores for way too long. We deserve better.

Incredible experience. The process and agent made our buying and selling so smooth. They were on top of any items that came our way. Communication was top notch. My wife and I are very thankful and impressed. We look forward to working with Low VA rates for refinancing.
