Thought I would give them a try. 100% 30 Year disabled Veteran, they say your service is your down payment which means what? but their interest rate is about 1% higher than USAA and NFCU for the same VA loan and closing cost just slightly higher. Any organization that pushes so hard to sell you a product you should be wary of

Mr. Branden Hempstead is simply a superb loan officer and should be promoted to President from Vice President immediately. What a true professional that carried us though out the entire process from beginning to end. He is the main reason this deal got done and I highly give him the honor and praise for his patience, customer service skills and his management skills. What is being represented through your TV Marketing is true to form. I immediately felt like your Team was wanting to help Veterans. My experience through the process to approval and closing was exceptional.

It was a very smooth and well-organized experience. Ryan was excellent and very professional, and everything went perfectly. I’d highly recommend New Day.

Right after the closing I thought, wow this was to easy, I was so wrong. 2 months later I started having problems with the septic system, after talking with the septic company I found out that the property had multiple fines against it for not having the system inspected. The property was found to have paper wrapped wire, and rotted major support beams. During the purchase I asked about the difference between the VA appraisal and an inspection. I was told that the VA appraisals are just one step away from a full inspection. I of course could get one, but if it passed the appraisal there isn’t any reason to get one. I foolishly believed them. When I called NewDay seeking some guidance all they said was when will we get our mortgage payment. So after close to $30,000 out of my pocket, I find myself in a lawsuit against NewDay. I wish I had had a good experience with them, but sadly it wasn’t.

The process was smooth and efficient. Ryan was fantastic—very professional and helpful. Everything went perfectly, and I’d definitely recommend New Day.

When I first saw the ad on TV, I was very skepital about it, since I had past experiences with other VA organizations. When I finally took the first step and called the number I woke up to the possibility that I could become a homeowner. Now that I am in my own home, my dream has been fulfilled.
