Time and time again, this company delivers - both literally and figuratively. Always professional and always prompt and clear with their responses and explanations. I’m so thankful for them because without MailboxDE, I wouldn’t have any way of getting my shipments from Germany to the US — definitely recommend! Keep up the fantastic work, and TY SO MUCH! 👏👏👏👏👏

Fast and reliable service

Fast service, I received a notification from Mailboxde that the package arrived even before the notifcation from DHL. Dispatching to my home was also done at the same day.
Instructions about how to adress the package to Mailboxde are clearly communicated in the email.

Very smooth

Just used mailbox.de for the first time and found it very straightforward. Very relieved as I have never used a service like this before.
I’m in the U.K. Ordered from a German retailer who only deliver to German addresses.
The parcel arrived with mailboxde the day after it was shipped, I did a bank transfer to pay the postage and the funds appeared in my account next day. I chose the cheapest postage option and it arrived via Royal Mail 6 days later.
I was very unclear on whether I would need to pay customs/vat on arrival so factored this cost in before ordering. I wasn’t asked to pay anything.
Haven’t given 5 stars as the payment options were limited to PayPal and bank transfer. I have a euro bank account in an EU country but imagine transferring from a U.K. sterling account might take longer and incur currency exchange charges.

This whole experience has been a nightmare.

I opened an account and have received mail. While setting up there's a mention that if you your PayPal payments don't match the name on the account, that you will need to verify your account with a bank wire transfer.

All of my info matches, but I actually didn't even get the chance to pay any way, it's telling me I need to send a wire transfer to validate my account.

The swift code they gave me doesn't work. I've tried with my bank tellers twice and they've told me the same thing.

I sent pictures of my results and explanations to their mail support and Jan just keeps repeating the same useless comments like "you should be able to." It's honestly hard to tell if I'm talking to a real person, of if the replies are automated, because most of my inquiries are being ignored, while I keep getting the same replies.

This has been going on for weeks now.

At this point I'm starting to think I was scammed and that I will never see my mail.

The SWIFT code of our bank (COMMERZBANK AG) is COBADEFFXXX and it is generated automatically for every payment. The same code is listed on our bank's website, but also on Wikipedia (1, 2). Can I ask you to verify whether you have international transactions enabled on your account, please?

Achtung! EBAY Betrug!

Achtung! Wenn Ihr auf Ebay ein Artikel verkauft und der Käufer per PayPal bezahlt und die Anschrift von Mailboxde anngibt dann ist es höchstwahrscheinlich ein Betrug. Ihr seit die verkaufte ware und euer geld los. Denn nachdem euer Paket die Firma Mailbox de erreicht wird der käufer umgehend sein PayPal Käuferschutz beantragen. Und wenn Ihr dann den NAchweis zeigt von Mailboxde reicht es nicht aus um den Fall zu gewinnen und der Käufer erhält sein geld zurück. Auf Anfrage bei Mailboxde könne mann mein Paket nicht finden. Nachdem ich bei der Polizei anzeige erstattet habe hat die Firma Mailbox.de der Polizei 2 leere DVD Hüllen abgegeben und gemeint das dies mein Paket wäre. Seit 6 Monaten kommt keine Rückmeldung vom Geschäftsführer Herr Krabs und auch keine Hilfe. HIER WIRD SYSTEMATISCH VON A bis Z betrogen. WAHNSINN!!!

A class act.

I have been a regular customer for several years and the standard of service provided has been consistently excellent. All my parcel forwarding requests have been handled swiftly and efficiently. Customer service has always been very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this company. A class act.

Used the company a few years

Used the company a few years, always promt and economical. Last package however got lost. No problem, they found it was sent to another customer where it was collected and sent to me. They will probably stop at nothing, this prooved it for me !.

Amazing service

Amazing service! The staff went out of their way to help me out on anything I could wish for. They reply to e-mails very quickly and do anything in their power to help you. One of the products I ordered had to be returned, and they did it for me so I don't have to do it myself when the package arrived to me, and for a very cheap price. During our correspondence, they were very kind and professional. 5/5

AFFIDABILITÀ E PRECISIONE

Ho usato il loro servizio 2 volte fino ad ora e si sono rivelati affidabili , precisi e seri , la prima volta dopo che un noto corriere ha smarrito / rubato un pacco appena giunto in Italia mi hanno rimborsato tutto in pochi giorni su semplice richiesta.
Rispondono alle mail in pochissimo tempo e sono sempre disponibili per risolvere i problemi TOP...

Perfect Service. Very friendly and fast.
Ebay did a wrong sending and mr Ullrich did a great job that everything went perfect.

Сервис которому можно доверять

Первый раз пользовался сервисом доставки из Германии в Казахстан. Долго искал, т.к. либо доставляют только РФ, либо нет доверия к сайту. Здесь видно, что ребята сами занимаются, сами запустили сайт и работают по чесноку. Все условия расписаны и детали. Когда приходит посылка на адрес в Германии, заносят посылку в систему практически день в день.
В целом всё понравилось, сама посылка долго шла до Казахстана (около месяца), но это вопрос уже к транзитной почте.
В целом рекоммендую сервис. Буду теперь пользоваться.

They fixed it! Very honorable and decent.

I run a rare books bookshop in Mexico. I use several forwarding services to get books from all over the world: Japan, UK, France, the Netherlands, Taiwan, USA... I tried using Mailboxde, after finding a supplier in Deutschland that only sends parcels within the country. I decided to use Mailboxde after a friend recommended it. My expierence has been 'meh' at best:
1. The webpage itself looks, feels and works as something a highschooler churned out in 1999. The whole thing is unreactive, unclear and confusing. It's also useless in mobile phones. During all the process, I was unsure I was clicking the correct buttons in the correct sequence to obtain the correct results. Even though I read the several FAQs and user manuals they got there, I was never entirely sure I was doing things right. Even when I got a confirmation mail (that had further instructions for subsequent actions) I wasn't sure the process was correct. I was surprised the page linked and charged the correct fee from Paypal, as there was no Paypal in 1999. I breathed a sigh of relief when I got an e-mail with my info and the legend 'no further action is necessary' written at the end. Having used so many forwarding services before, I can say that Mailboxde is the less user friendly (most user unfriendly?) I've ever seen.

2. I chose to use UPS as the mailing service, given that Deutsch mail seems to be unreliable. Mailboxde confirmed they sent the parcel and provided a tracking number. So far, so good. Then UPS promptly destroyed or damaged my parcel. I never received it because of this. I tried contacting UPS but they told me that the sender was informed of the situation and that only the sender could file a complaint or do anything about it. I contacted Mailboxde (through a reclamation form that is a pain in the behind to fill) and received a short and dry, but very polite mail from Lucie. She was going to talk to UPS from her end.
Two weeks later I reached Mailboxde again, as I didn't receive any info on the matter. Once again, Lucie answered dryly and politely that she was going to push on UPS . And that was that. I received no answer, no info, no recourse to do anything, no word of advise, no offering to reimburse, no discount, no flimsy solution to try, no condolences. As of right now I don't know if my parcel was destroyed in a riot in Europe, sunk in the Atlantic or stolen in Mexico. I also have no recourse at all to do anything.

I know UPS mismanaging my parcel is not Mailboxde's fault, but I think Mailboxde could've been a little more proactive on this matter, given that, if I had some info —any info— on my parcel's fate, I could've done a lot on my end to get UPS to uphold their agreement. Maybe I had bad luck. Anyway, the only positive thing I can say about Mailboxde is that Lucie is polite, I guess. Try anything else but this.

EDIT: When everything seemed lost, Mailboxde came through and whipped UPS into handing out a reinbursement and kindly gave my money back. I'm changing my original 2 star review to 5 stars, as I am satisfied with their services, given the special circumstances. I think I had bad luck, and I really, really, really want to like this forwarding service. Maybe I'll use it again sometime in the future. Thanks Mailboxde and Lucie.
