The Maqio journey began in 2010 when we began selling online. In 2011, we opened our first shop in Buxton, where business flourished, but we knew to provide convenient online selling was the most logical way for Maqio to grow. Combining our experience of merchandising our toy shop and selling online, we expanded our sales rapidly on various platforms worldwide. We focussed on making our systems more efficient while continuing to provide outstanding customer service, with our ambition to become the leading destination for buying toys. Within a year our online sales exceeded twenty times the turnover of the shop and so we decided to close that side of the business. Werented warehouse space, with the dream of owning our own location. Multiple moves later,we purchaseda 47,000 sq. ft warehouse with plans to expand further. Theconsistent growth and development of the company didn’t go unnoticed by the industry, and we were nominated at the 2018 Greater Manchester Ward Hadaway 50 Fastest Growing Companies Awards. Maqio Ltd placed in the top three for the Fastest Growing Companies in Greater Manchester Small Business category. As a premier toy seller, our collection of premium and best-selling toys and games are offered at competitive prices. Our team works hard to ensure our stock reflects the latest trends and can meet customer demand; weare in constant contact with our suppliers to secure the best possible prices, and pass on the savings to our valued customers.

Little bit apprehensive at 1st, never heard of this website, however, the toys arrived within 4 days, all in perfect condition and very well packaged. Would definitely buy again

Bought this set for my Sons Christmas


Bought this set for my Sons Christmas present. Looked around and found John Lewis out of stock and Maqio! They were cheaper and second to none service. Had the item delivered within 2 days. Great service highly recommend them!

Delivery let you down

The whole shopping experience was sadly let down by the delivery operator. They had me waiting in at home for 2 days saying Monday it was out for delivery to no show and aay they would come again Tuesday to yet again no show. If I knew you used Evri I wouldn't have shopped with you for this very reason your chouce of delivery operator let's you down from gaining 5 stars.

Once parcels leave our warehouse, delivery is handled by Royal Mail, Evri, or Yodel, so it’s unfortunately out of our control. Item received well packed, delivery was quick and the price was good. I found Maqio by accident i would be happy to use them again.

The goods that I ordered haven’t yet

The goods that I ordered haven’t yet been delivered.
The message is ‘We’re sorry that it hasn’t been delivered. We’re working to get it’s on its way on the next walking day and we’ll let you know when it’s on its way once it out for delivery.’
I have waited for a few days for this delivery and I need to post it for Christmas.

Great efficient company with speedy delivery

Great efficient company with speedy delivery. I ordered 22 of the same Lego items which I wasn’t able to do so from Lego direct due to the quantity but here there were no questions asked and even had a discount making them so much cheaper

I am extremely grateful that I could get the 30th anniversary hot wheels Kool kombi.
I would strongly recommend anyone to shop from this company, was super happy with the packaging and the hot wheels was very protected.

Can't fault the service. Ordered a Christmas gift for grandson, best price including delivery. Delivered in 2 days in sturdy cardboard box. Can't ask for more. Well done, great store.
