Placed an order on 3rd September.
Not received delivery and have a request from DHL for duty and tax of £123.
This represents 40% of the order.
On the terms and conditions it clearly states duty is included.
Have sent a couple of emails and no response.
Website states 48 hour response rate.

The delivery was quick and the dress is fabulous! The number of women who’ve asked where I get these fabulous dresses just rises each time I wear a Marielle Stokkelaar creation.

I was very worried about the All Size fits All but it is perfect! Better than expected. Beautiful! Delivery was perfect!

The products are not bad although pretty expensive the problem is they fail to point out that before or on delivery you have at least another 40% to pay in import charges from dhl carriers you are then harassed & pressurised to pay this or lose the dress & your money it is at best sharp practice.

This is a beautiful dress. The cotton fabric is comfortable and just the right weight. The attention to detail is outstanding, with the print properly aligned at the seams. I get compliments every time I wear it.

Ordering is simple, the product arrived fast, i hadnt thought about import duty but that is my mistake. The quality of the dress is outstanding and i will definitely be buying more; love it!

This website either operates as a scam or has shockingly poor customer service.

They advertise “one day delivery within the Netherlands,” but my dress took over two weeks to arrive - long after the event I needed it for. I returned the item the next day, it was delivered to their warehouse within 2 days, and it has now been over 50 days with still no refund processed.

Customer service is unresponsive, only replying sporadically (and only at night CET), avoiding direct answers, and offering no real help. I’ve lost €300 and feel completely let down. As someone who values supporting small businesses, this experience is exactly why it’s so hard to trust them over established brands.

Save yourself the stress and money - avoid this website at all costs.

Edit: the day after this review, they refunded €280 even though the dress was €299. It may be some bs ‘policy’ but I don’t have the energy to text their ‘customer service’ again.

I have purchased 4 dresses from Marielle Stokkelaar over the past 2 months. At first I was wary because I had purchased from other sites and upon receiving the merchandise the quality was something I would not wear. Then to return, I had to send it back internationally at my expense. Marielle Stokkelaar is none of those things. The first garment (Luana Lace- White) I received from Marielle Stokkelaar was significantly beyond any expectations I had. The quality was magnificent. The package was received quickly and the packaging was also beyond my expectations. There was NO crumpled garment in a zip lock bag. It came in a box beautifully wrapped in tissue. After receiving my first garment, I immediately ordered 2 more (Luana Lace - Black & Vivienne Lace). One of the dresses came right away. There was a slight delay with the second and I appreciated the intentional communication keeping me apprised of the status. The Vivienne Lace is spectacular. After that I ordered another dress (Melania) which I have just received. The dress is described as "red" and the picture is Red. When I received the dress which was delayed for a manufacturing issue, it was orange. Orange is not my color and I don't wear orange. While it may work for others it didn't work for me. I attempted to return the dress and was rejected because it was on sale. I understand that it their policy but I communicated the reason I was returning the dress because it did not represent the picture or description. I originally waited extra time for the dress. Now I am stuck with a $300+ dress I will never wear. I have written back to them but the response was not very helpful.

Quick delivery, the product is as described. Very positive shopping experience overall!

Une première commande sur ce site particulièrement attractif, les robes sont sublimes. Le tissu est de qualité. L’envoi a été rapide et bien protégé. Je n’hésiterai pas à recommander.

Les articles sont toujours bien emballés et il y a une petite note sur chaque colis.

The quality and color of the skirt are amazing! I love the fact that it has pockets even with the layers! I am 5.1 and was afraid I was a bit to short to pull it off but I love it!

Just love the dress...only wear 100% cotton & love these - especially since one size - relaxed and comfortable! Have 3 colors of same dress!!
