Terrible online shopping experience
Terrible online shopping experience. Tried to make an online order 4 times!!! and each time Marshalls just cancelled it without any explanation. Support said they cannot verify billing details which is not true as I used different cards and my bank confirmed the problem is on Marshalls side. Ultimately they did not do anything useful to resolve this so the customer support is also useless. Disgusting experience

Wrong item received, bad service
I normally shop in store but began ordering on their online store this year. My first few packages were problem free. But this last time they sent me a wrong dress and completely not what I ordered or paid for. There are inventory issues they need to fix on what pic they put in the website to what is actually received. I called a few times but their only solution (My dress is now out of stock) is to ship the wrong item back to them and inconvenience myself by taping up the plastic bag it came in and waiting three weeks for them to refund me.... For their mistake??? Why should I do that?? No sorry coupon code for a discount next time or free shipping, no offer to just credit me and no real satisfaction with customer service. I spoke to two reps. I can't even return in store since the item is not what I ordered to begin with. I will never shop online anymore with Marshall's. I am hesitant to even order at TJ maxx now. On the Marshall's side they just don't care about customers and after you speak with customer service representatives they don't bother to do satisfaction surveys to keep them in check. Obviously the reps don't give a crap. But maybe if I stop shopping there, they will lose their jobs? Do you see the irony? Customers pay their livelihood. I will fight this charge tooth and nail with my credit card. It serves them right. Maybe even close my credit card with them. Shop with caution.

I would give it a zero if I could. I ordered a dress and the wrong one was sent. Iâve emailed 3 times, they have not replied after months. I even called the 1800 number of course no one answered. So disappointed.

The checkouts are fast and easy as some staff is helpful and some are not being that they are from another country and don't understand.
Received a gift from Marshals and itâŠ
Received a gift from Marshals and it broke down twice. It was a Sharper Image product. I was told by Marshals online company to get the receipt for a return but when they received it they told me to contact Sharper Image. Sharper Image told me Marshals should handle return. So after both companies declined to help I gave up. Bad customer service all the way around. I will shop elsewhere next time.

Iâve just had my carâs first service at Marshallâs BMW - Bournemouth. First time Iâve used them but wonât be the last ! Such a professional and friendly service from everyone we came into contact with. And - big bonus - they are dog friendly. Comfortable waiting lounge - excellent communications - everything you hope youâll find with a garage but rarely do. Marshalls is another cut-throat chain that replaced small businesses. Small businesses that had paid much better wages without this slave wages nonsense keeping Marshalls's tyrannical stockholders outrageously wealthier while more working class Americans become homeless during inflation and recessions caused by very rich bullies. Screw Marshalls and its sociopathic work environment with wage slaves putting on fake smiles to customers. No wonder why there are more people hating chains and corporations. We are from South Chicago and while visiting family in the Louisville,KY area decided to do some shopping. The worst of the 2 store in Louisville area is the store off of Dixie Highway as we couldn't find anything good and a lady was doing markdowns on this morning and I asked her if any of the childrens clothes would be marked down she rudely told me you'll just have to come back another time and went on marking toddlers things down. RUDE!! I ended up trying on a few ladies garments and went to the try on room where a lady there treated me like a common criminal, I had 5 garments and she stopped me abruptly and said right there and pointed to a clothing rack and I asked there what? She rolled her eyes and said hang them THERE! I sure did and then went to find my husband that said a not to stealthy man was following him around while looking at fragrances and when he open a package that had NO seal a shorter, older woman said sir you can't open those and he said well I just wanted to sniff the lid how else will I know if it's worth $40 and she said I don't know but you can't open them HERE! Needless to say, were stormed out and went a door down to the Ross for less and those people were super nice and we were so happy that we spent$122 and was really only going to spend about $35-50. When we come back to Ky the next time it will be a happy visit to Ross, don't waste your time on rude sales clerk at Marshalls, NEVER AGAIN!

PURE JUNK AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
The pictures and good prices convinced me to order online from Marshalls. It has been the most frustrating experience ever. The pictures look good but what you receive is junk. Customer service is a joke. I ordered a lighted Xmas door wreath and a 16 piece set of dinner ware among many other items. It took a couple of weeks with the items arriving at different times separately. The wreath was in an old moldy smelling box. There were no lights The tag on the wreath said it takes 3 aaa batteries but no box for the batteries. The 16 piece dinnerware contained 15 pieces a large bowl was missing. Obviously could not fit in the tightly backed box so they just didnât send it. I contacted customer service and the woman said she would send me an email address to send my complaint I waited then she disconnected the call without notice. I called back and got another person. Went through explaining my problem again She said the first person hadnât entered anything in the computer regarding my order. She sent me the email address which required me to send pictures of the items. I sent pictures of the items with a copy of the receipt they had sent me on my order. I sent their tracking number and all the information they sent me I havenât heard anything from Marshalls yet. I will continue to contact them until this matter is resolved. They are selling junk online and they donât care about customer satisfaction. They take your money and you just have to deal with it. TJ Maxx is the same. I will never order anything from Marshalls or TJ Maxx online ever again. They are just cleaning out junk from their warehouse and they donât care how they do it.

Terrible experience- zero stars -workers here are racial profiling customers. They left the alarm on my jacket and refused to take it off and accused me of stealing the jacket when I went back in the store and asked them to remove it and I showed my receipt! Then the spanish worker at the front desk proceeds to argue with me telling me she's not going to remove the alarm and she's not stupid.. meanwhile she isn't wearing a MASK while she's working during a PANDEMIC... Then I asked for the manager. Finally the manager comes and removes the alarm for me AND APOLOGIZES. Meanwhile the employee is still standing there arguing with (me) the customer. REMINDER: This is what I had to deal with the day after Christmas! Also, when the manager removed the alarm she damaged the jacket! Yes, there is a hole in the jacket now from The way she removed the alarm so I'm still upset. The manager wasn't so bad even though she didn't have a mask on either.... but that employee that I dealt with first needs to be fired ASAP for racial profiling people, and since she'd much rather be combative with a customer and provoke a fight in the store than be polite and help resolve the issue! Bottom Line: Do not shop here. They will racial profile you. The workers do not wear masks and rather argue during a holiday season and a pandemic instead of doing their job and removing the alarm which they failed to do initially. I don't need to steal a $49.99 jacket. I just needed the ALARM OFF!! I didn't ask for an exchange or nothing of that nature!! I even told them how the alarm went off in the next store I walked into making me look like a thief! I need corporate to contact me ASAP!! I need to be reimbursed for this jacket and compensated for the unprofessionalism that my family and I had to deal with!! I will be escalating this issue as well! I am a repeat customer and this is unacceptable treatment!! Also, let's not talk about the ridiculously long lines but like I said I shop here all the time so that was not an issue before. I'm typically a patient person but I don't know what is happening in Secaucus, NJ!
