Really disappointed with Mattel…
Really disappointed with Mattel Creations UK. In June 2025 I pre-ordered the F1 Movie Hot Wheels. About 2 weeks ago (March 2026) it finally was produced and shipped, however the package have been lost by the courier and never delivered. Mattel did ultimately issue a refund (giving an extra star for that), but that left me with no product. I know it's a limited run, but very disappointed to have waited for so long and end up not having the product after all. There should be plan in places for these things, I'm sure they have happened before, to secure replacements in case of such events. Definitely not trusting in pre-ordering anything else int he future.
MATTEL CREATIONS DELIVERY SYSTEM SUCKS
I live in Mexico and 1 they have lost a lot of my dolls [Monster High dolls specifically] and they take a long time to answer your e-mails, 2 they only refund your money but NEVER sent you new dolls, they keep your money for months only to wash their hands and sent you your money back, and 3 their dolls are "limited" and "exclusive" so you can't buy them again if they lost them, you have to buy them from a reseller to a much higher cost.
Here in Mexico we have made complaints about the delivery companies [MailAmericas] and [Qualitypost] but our complaints have been ignored for MONTHS, they don't listen to their customers, they don't care about you receiving your dolls [or toys], they don't even care about the suggestions customers make about their poorly made designs. If I could I would buy from another retailer [Amazon, Walmart, even directly form a physical location] rather than buying from you anymore.

You get charged for priority order but…
You get charged for priority order but item run out in less than five minutes so while you try to put order website freeze they charge you but only to tell you item is out of stock customers service is even more useless than the website so basically same few overbuy and resell on internet triple the price but you can't even get one for yourself

The sight is pure trash
The site is pure trash. Who ever developed it obviously came out of grade school. It is glitchy to the point you need to refresh the page after every transaction. They don't notify of upcoming things like the rlc overdrive that was kept compleatly silent. Like they are working with the scalpers. 90% of the hot wheels have defects yet they charge 60+ for honestly a 10$ car. They have a customer service as useful as a box of rocks that sadly is more helpful than them. This is sad a multi billion comp and they cant hire any one higher than a high-school education to make them a proper page. As a loyal customer i feel betrayed. I didnt even stand a chance to the bots and scalpers due to the fact mattel left its big paying customers in the dark. With the way your websites going I hope it gets eaten alive by tariffs... this is sad Mattel do better.
Us Skullector Doll Set
I had a wonderful experience ordering the "Us" Skullector Dolls (my first Matell Creations purchase). The dolls were on sale for $70, so I thought I would take a chance and order from MC's website. The dolls were stunning, packaged well, came in a pristine box, and were shipped quickly. I couldn't be more thrilled!

No hay test de calidad ni reembolsos
Me llegó una muñeca sin máscara mi sorpresa fue que según ellos a partir del 2026 ellos ya no hacen el reembolso tienes que pedirlo a tu método de pago. Paypal o en mi caso hablar con mi banco y reclamar el cargo de la tarjeta. Esto es nuevo de este año ya que hasta ahora jamás había tenido problemas con un reembolso pero si muchos con pedidos defectuosos, sucios partes incompletas, no hay test de calidad
Cancelled orders with no explanation
I'm a huge Hot Wheels collector but the Mattel Creations website is terrible. It is difficult to place orders on this site, despite paying a membership fee to do so. I can just about accept this, but then cancelling the order a month afterwards and giving no reason is unacceptable. Oh and after they cancel they then have the brass neck to keep your money for 7-10 days. Surely Mattel can do better than this useless customer experience. They are lucky to get one star.
Poor customer service & return policy
Unlike a lot of reviews here, I have actually purchased from this website. The order went through fine, the doll arrived in very good condition, they package their dolls up very well. However, my issue is the extremely poor customer service. I waited 4 days for a response, which upon receiving was overly short and lacking context, I had to ask a couple follow ups which took days to respond as well.
Returns are not covered by Mattel either. So if you need to return something, you'll be out of pocket an extra $10-$25+ depending on the size of your item. Pretty poor form for a multi-billion dollar company.
Diecast models
Since "Day Light Savings" has come in I have not been able to get a model from Mattel Aust. I went for the Ferrari today and according to them it SOLD OUT in 10 -15 SECOND. Obviously they did not have stock and this is the BS they spin. Unfortunately the site has become rubbish and I would not recomend them to anyone.

A terrible experience
I have had a terrible experience with Mattel Creations. I purchased online RLC membership, in order to buy some of the exclusive models, but received no membership details. I tried to purchase models and my log in was notrecognised. I contacted customer support and received no response, I contacted them again and finally got a response that has not helped. I have tried to reset my password as my original one was NOT recognised, I have not received an email from Mattel Creations to advise me of how to change my password or reset it. If I was you, DON'T BOTHER or shop with this company.

It again
It again, with a heavy and frustrated heart, am writing to leave some feedback.
I wanted to try and get the new RC release today, I was there at the appropriate time, minutes before, but I was placed in a 10 minute queue, then my cart sold out before I could even grab 1.
Again, looking online, there’s already 14 sellers (it hasn’t even been 1 hour since the drop) on UK ebay, selling this at 3 times the price. It’s an absolute joke that you don’t even try to stop scalping and the bots that plague this hobby.
It’s meant to be a fun, enjoyable hobby. Filled with family and friends, but we’re at a point that it causes frustration, disappointed and anxiety several times per year. What an utter shame and failure.
The brand is no longer built on collectibility, but on FOMO and hype.
I would like to know the reasons behind all of these failed drops, from a customer perspective, but you will not get a reliable answer from them.
Anyway, I’m growing more and more frustrated by your company and have started moving towards more customer oriented businesses, that offer more enjoyment and fun, and less stress.
Avoid at all costs if you want to keep your sanity.

Unfähig und kundenunfreundlich
Für Bestellungen von Club Grayskull- Artikeln braucht man als Europäer eine US-Adresse, was die Artikel wesentlich teurer macht.
Jetzt beim Snake Lair- Crowdfounding ließ sich der Artikel nicht an meine deutsche Adresse versenden ( warum auch immer ? ) und bei der Bestellbestätigung hat das System unwiderruflich die US-Adresse
( Shipito ) ausgewählt. Auf mehrfache Anfrage und nachdem ich fast 10 Tage lang von Mattel ignoriert wurde, hieß es, ich könne stornieren und vor dem 14.8. neu ordern, um meine Vorbesteller Artikel erhalten zu können, was ich bestätigte, aber nichts passierte. Fast 3 Wochen nach der Bestellung antwortet mir Mattel endlich ein 2. Mal ( nach ca 30 E-Mails von mir ) und meinte ich könne die Adresse nur ändern, wenn ich storniere und neu bestelle, aber würde nun all meinen Vorbestellerartikel verlieren. Ich solle doch schauen, dass ich jemanden in den USA finde, der mir das dann zusenden kann.
Wollen die uns einfach nur verarschen?
Jetzt kommen über Shipito noch zusätzlich Zoll und Versand oben drauf, was ja schon im Kaufpreis alles mit einberechnet war.
Die sind nicht imstande in ihrem System einfach eine Adresse zu ändern, vor allem weil sie in meinem Profil hinterlegt ist?
MATTEL hat den schlechtesten und unfähigsten Service der Welt.
Leider bekommt man viele Dinge nur über deren Seite und nicht im Laden oder über Zwischenhändler, sonst würde ich da nicht mehr bestellen.

I paid for the Fang Club membership to get early, exclusive access to Monster High releases. That’s exactly what Mattel Creations promised: priority access for members only, with one-per-customer limits.
But when the doll I wanted dropped, it was gone in under a minute. I was online right on time, added it to my cart immediately — and still got kicked out at checkout with a “sold out” message.
What’s the point of a paid membership if it gives you zero real advantage? Who is buying these dolls — bots? Resellers? Other members with faster bots?
This entire system feels dishonest. No transparency, no communication, no protection from scalpers, and absolutely no value for paying members. It’s basically a fake VIP pass. Mattel just took the money and gave nothing in return.
