Your piece was commissioned as a 100% hand-painted oil painting, not a print. We work with professional artists across our studio network, and in this case the artwork was painted and shipped from our China studio, which is why the shipment originated there.

We have also reached out to you directly and shared a photo of your painting while it was still under production, which clearly shows that it was being painted by hand on canvas. Had we received your concern earlier, we would have been happy to share additional work-in-progress photos as well for reassurance.

We appreciate you taking the time to review us. We understand the significance of the artwork reaching you by Christmas and as you have acknowledged, we did try our best to aim for it.
We also understand your disappointment regarding your wife's portrayal in the painting not being in line with how you envisioned. We always accommodate feasible revision requests even after completion if we receive the requests for the same. You would agree that the artwork had a close resemblance to the layout/picture that we worked from. Nevertheless, we value you choosing to work with us and your satisfaction is a priority for us. We have worked up and emailed you two options as a resolution for you. We request you review them and let us know how you would like us to proceed.
