Medecan is a UK-registered private telehealth clinic specialising in cannabis-based products for medicinal use (CBPMs). We provide patients across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland with access to specialist medical cannabis prescribing through a safe, structured, and fully regulated clinical pathway. Our team of experienced clinicians includes specialists in pain medicine, psychiatry, emergency medicine, and general practice. Every patient is assessed individually, with prescribing decisions made in line with current clinical guidelines and good practice standards. We support patients living with a range of conditions where conventional treatments have not provided adequate relief, including chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and neurological conditions. Our process is designed to be straightforward, compassionate, and clinically rigorous from first contact through to ongoing care. Consultations are conducted remotely via video, making specialist access possible without the need to travel. We work with regulated UK pharmacy partners to ensure safe and timely dispensing of all prescribed medicines. Medecan is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and operates in accordance with MHRA guidelines, the UK Misuse of Drugs Regulations, and the standards set by the UK Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society (UKMCCS).

Just had my first month review after starting the medication. I spoke to the same doctor as at my introduction and as before she was excellent and gave me some advice as I go forward. The whole experience has been handled perfectly with excellent communication . Cant praise this organisation enough particularly as I am elderly and not very competent with IT.
Medecan and the team is actually 6 stars! Mr Terry and his team are all friendly and easy to talk to.. I explained every detail of my experience with no judgement.. I definitely recommend.

Found the video call with the doctor was not intimidating and felt at ease talking with her.

I have not received it yet !your carrier company is rubbish ...I did mention on my calls to Mexican that I am never available in a Tuesday ...however on my way to the nearest town I received a message that my delivery would be in 1 and half hours ...I rushed like mad . Felt quite ill then missed the delivery by 2 minutes ...after the rushing around which I find extremely difficult due to my arthritis I was in agony and really needed that prescription!I think I should have a little more warning when a delivery is on its way

As discussed on our call, we are not involved in dispatch or delivery ourselves, as this is managed directly by our pharmacy partner and their courier. We understand their delivery notifications allow the date to be changed in advance if a particular day does not suit, and would encourage using this option where possible. A further delivery attempt has been arranged for today, and our team remains available if you need any support in the meantime.

Having just signed up with medecan, I can say with assurance, that Terry Aylmer-Smith the patient support manager was very helpful in helping me to get the information that I needed. Terry explained this process in a clear and straightforward manner.He was knowledgeable about the business and expressed this in a calm and enabling way and with his help we got everything done really quickly and easily. Terry Aylmer-Smith is a credit to the company.

I think the Company is very good and helpful. However l was not prepared for all the internet problems when searching for my medical records! When l finally managed to find and send them there wasn’t enough information in them for the Doctors and l had to contact my surgery, who hopefully have now sent enough information?

Still waiting on doctor to prescribe , consultation was great ( Mr Terry ) told him everything about my condition. Will be 5 star when I'm medicated... 6 stars now!
