Moved from Bella Vista to the Fairmount area and tried Mercato for the first time last week in my new neighborhood. Initially, I thought the greater distance would result in longer delivery windows, but was pleasantly surprised how punctual the delivery was. Delivery from the Reading Terminal was right in targeted window.

Everything was done to perfection, nice people, prompt delivery, great notifications.

When the pandemic lockdown appeared imminent, Chestnut Farm and Stillman's Farm told us about Mercato. We joined the Green Plan. It has been such a pleasure to get weekly orders from our favorite local producers. We have had nothing but positive experiences with our delivery. The annual rate is also quite reasonable.

Mercado and Vincent’s Meat Market great. On time delivery with quality product makes a reliable and excellent shopping experience. I will definitely continue using Mercado. Quite convenient too.

Folks were extraordinarily helpful at every step, in every possible way. It was easy to find what I needed. I am so very grateful for this service.

A ordered a large order from a new merchant in my area. The products were very high quality and it was delivered within the next 2 hours. Definitely ordering again.

MY HUSBAND GO AND BUY THEIR FOOD (Rice with ayam masak kicap) he came home , HE VOMIT AND DIARRHEA!!! i don’t know how their staff do their work , they cannot see the rice is already expired!!! stupid things , i will go and complain!!!!

Mercato delivers from Fruit Fair in Chicopee, MA, one of my favorite stores. Now if only they'd add Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe in West Springfield that would be perfect.

Mercato is so user friendly and has made grocery shopping during this pandemic so easy. I have recommended it to all my friends and family. I love that I am able to support my favorite local stores and keep my family safe while shopping from home.

Mercato is an awesome service with a wide variety of merchants for all your shopping needs. I have been using Mercato since the onset of the pandemic and have been very pleased.
They are very dependable.
Delivery is free for the first 14 days.
So what to you have to lose. You may get hooked. I sure am.

Mercato is Terrific! I get notifications when I place my order, when my order leaves the store and when my order arrives at my place. My order is always exact and complete! I get an itemized receipt with the exact weight of every grocery item I buy. My food is always fresh and clean. Thank you!

We have shopped at Green Top Grocery in Bloomington, Illinois, since it opened in 2016. Mercato online ordering became available in the spring of 2020, and we've used the service every week since then. Grace is an excellent shopper and communicator. The products offered are excellent, including many local items. We have used curbside pickup so far, but will switch to delivery if we are ever confined to our home.

I have shopped online several times.. love the service and very convenient.

It is a pleasure to shop online with Mercato. All items are fresh and well packed. So far, I‘ve had a delivery and a pick up and both went very well.

THEY ARE THE WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE YOU'LL EVER ENCOUNTER, OREDER DID NOT ARRIVE AFTER THREE HOURS AFTER THE SPECIFIDE TIME WINDOW WITH NO CALL, TEXT OR EMAILS AS TO WHY, TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO CALL AND IT RING THEN GOES TO VOICE MAIL, AFTER A SHORT CHAT THEY TRANSFERRED ME TO AN EMAIL CONVERSAION THEN THEY TOLD ME IT'LL ARRIVE IN 45 MINUTES THEN AFTER MUTIBLE ATTEMTS TO REACH CUSTOMER SERVICE SOMEONE ANSWERED AND TOLD ME THE HE'LL CANCEL MY ORDER BECAUSE OF MY ATTITUDE, THERE IS A REASON FOR ALL THESE BAD REVIEWS ALL OVER THE PLACE ABOUT THIS BUSSINESS

MERCATO is a scam! I created a new account and placed an order. After several minutes I did not receive a confirmation email so I checked my Mercato account. NO ORDER ON MY ACCOUNT. Next step, I figure the order didn’t go through so wanted to make sure I wasn’t charged.

I WAS CHARGED MULTIPLE TIMES!

Mercato keeps asking me to send my order confirmation number or a snap shot of my order. I’ve already emailed pics of my account with charges from Mercato.

I have been calling and emailing Mercato and each person is as clueless as the next. I will never support this business again.

Good idea but just not a fun experience. Had my ordertime , food type and cost all change after I ordered. Result was receiving food that was somewhat spoiled. Complained to the restaurant but they pointed the finger here. No one takes responsibility and no one offers real customer service anymore. Sad. Just have to keep looking elsewhere for good service these days.

I've been using Mercato since quarantine for several months with no complaints. Ordered from a great fish market from across town at least half a dozen times. But, today, all of a sudden they can't deliver across town anymore. Ruined my dinner with family and friends and on top of that, the groceries I purchased from another grocer went to waste as I purchased them to prepare the fish. Additionally, when I called the customer support they disconnected me 3 times and, when I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager; they couldn't get them on the phone. Stay away from this service! There are much better ones out there, trust me!

I see a reply, funny looks standard and text book? Is that supposed to make others think that you care? Because I still haven’t received my reimbursement and a call from a supervisor? Don’t be fooled by the automated reply people. This company does not care one bit about you! They would rather trick you into believing that they care. They had an opportunity to call me instead they wrote a automated reply?!? They would rather me write an email to them, wasting more of my time. Do you guys see something wrong here?!? Don’t be fooled by cheap tricks. Also, let me remind you that there’s a reason other ex-customers gave them bad reviews as well. There’s a reason they only have 2.9 rating, which should actually be lower because you can’t rate with zero stars?!? DO NOT USE MERCATO!!!

Every time my experience with Mercato has always been not so great. Hopefully they will improve in the future

Mercato does not make sure their vendors are selling what they say they are selling. I’ve been searching for a specific kind of kn95 mask and was so thrilled that one of their merchants have it as it was listed with the specific picture of the brand I was looking for. When I received my masks it turned out they were the bootleg version and the kind that’s hard to breathe in. They even had a punch hole in the bag so it’s not even 100% sterile! Everything is still sealed but merchant would not let me return. I spent $50 and am now stuck with 10 bootleg masks.

Cons: it’s a pretty outdated app and they could use some better user experience on their apps/website.
