Very simple process from my first approach to the dealership regarding prospective purchase to me taking the car. Finance was handled efficiently and professionally and staff made the process easy.

It is not the Mercedes staff or documentation that are affecting choices amongst the small to medium size vehicles ( not including top end and sporting- they have money to burn ) ;
it’s the competition from overseas .:

Whilst I love the car I would never buy from Mercedes in Bolton or from their finance department if it was the last provider on the planet.

Absolutely horrendous from start to finish.

Sell you a load of products that you don’t need and duplicated.

The car came with a faulty latch Bolton made a meal out of it and tried to charge £1000s and smash the door into another vehicle because the service department doesn’t give a crap. Instead of waiting 2 mins for the car to be moved forward.

Taken it to another branch lookers not Marshalls fixed the issue. No problem.

Finance now ripped off to high heaven was told Mercedes finance was the only option by the dealership need up being a bag of crap and instead used it to fleece you for it so they can milk the comission and other incentives out of you.

Customer service was horrendous either long wait times, long automated messages, snooty staff who would do their upmost to be difficult in helpful or patronising despite all you wanting to do is to have an up to date statement with a correct balance to pay.

Instead of bailing out a multibillion pound company and have to fight to get your over payments back.

The staff can’t produce a simple accurate statement.

So you can pay the agreement in full and get out of this complete Hell hole
Of a firm.

Anybody would have thought you were asking for the earth.

Customer service does absolutely nothing to put anything right no accountability, help or anything the only thing Mercedes is interested in is your money.

My experience of buying a car at Mercedes, Wakefield was 1st class. In particular, Jordon ( sales executive) made the whole process run like clockwork. Jordon was very knowledgeable, patient and a pleasure to do business with!

We bought a new car at the Mercedes garage in Warrington. We had a brilliant experience the sales girl Annierose was just fab, she made the process a great experience and I would recommend this garage.

Extremely poor experience with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services at the end of our company's hire purchase agreement. We were charged more than £4,000 for excess mileage and vehicle damage on return of the car – damage that had already been caused during a warranty repair visit to Mercedes-Benz of Bristol months earlier, with no action taken at the time.

When we complained, MBFS relied on Mercedes-Benz of Bristol's claim that they held “no record” of the damage, despite the dealership separately acknowledging that scratches had been raised while the car was in their custody. MBFS upheld the charges without, as far as we can tell, resolving that inconsistency.

We followed MB Finance advice and referred the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service, only to be told the complaint could not be considered because the agreement was in the name of a limited company – meaning the actual substance of the dispute has still never been independently reviewed by anyone in FOS. For a company that provides finance to a great many small businesses, relying on a jurisdiction technicality rather than resolving a clearly evidenced dispute is a poor way to treat customers. We would think carefully before financing a vehicle through MBFS again.

The change over of cars was seamless, thorough and very professional

Welcoming front desk staff, comfortable waiting area, drinks provided and a perfectly presented showroom.
The salesman Tim answered any questions and let me make my decision in my time , even making time the next day to test drive because I wanted to go home and think about it first . Very polite and informative helping me make the right decision for myself .
Super fast delivery and arrangement of collection , and a beautiful car to drive away in . Very pleased and highly recommend.
