This was my third excellent experience.

My name is Patricia McLachlan and I have used Midland Eye several times in the past.The services provided are carried out in a caring and very efficient manner and the team are excellent.

I’ve been going to Midlands Eye Clinic for regular check-ups following my eye surgery, and they’ve been absolutely amazing throughout. From the initial recovery to ongoing updates, the care and attention I’ve received have been exceptional. The team is always friendly, professional, and reassuring—they really make you feel looked after. I’m so grateful for their support and highly recommend them to anyone needing expert eye care.

I've just had the most thorough eye check I've ever experienced in my life, Midland Eye had twice as many machines for testing my eyes than any other company I've used before. Although I seen many lovely members of staff my consultation with Professor Shah was exceptional and I'd highly recommend him for anyone considering Midland Eye in future.

Following my macular hole & cataract replacement lens combined surgery nearly 3 weeks ago I can honestly say that I am very impressed either way the quality of care, professionalism & friendliness experienced during my pre op, op & post surgery.
You’re greeted with a warm friendly smile & my surgeon is thorough & explains everything carefully.
I am very pleased with my results so far & my vision is returning really well.
I still have eye drops 4 times a day but it’s no inconvenience.
My advice is don’t watch video of operation before you have it done because you are not aware of anything during the surgery & I experienced no pain during or after.

After the initial consultation and thorough examination I proceeded with cataract removal and replacement prescription lenses after discussing options with staff. The surgery was carried out on one visit and the results amazing giving me 20/20 vision I cannot praise the staff enough enough for their care and professionalism

Right from my first appointment, Sarah Sidebotham has been absolutely wonderful - warm, reassuring, and incredibly attentive. She took the time to talk me through every step, always making sure I felt comfortable and understood what was going on. That kind of care really makes a difference.

A big thank you as well to the admin team, they’ve been amazing. Whether it was sending helpful reminders, sorting last-minute changes, or just being genuinely kind and accommodating, they’ve made everything feel effortless and stress-free.

And of course, a very special thank you to Professor Shah whose expertise and knowledge are second to none. You can tell straight away he’s at the top of his field. He’s been thorough, thoughtful, and always happy to answer my questions with patience and clarity. He tailored the treatment to my needs, I have been to a number of opticians in my life and the care at Midland Eye is unmatched.

The whole team at Midland Eye has gone above and beyond, not just in terms of treatment, but in how they’ve looked after me as a person. I’ve felt listened to, cared for, safe and really well supported throughout.

If you’re looking for expert eye care from a team that truly cares, I’d highly recommend Midland Eye.

Recently undertaken two cataract operations. Care on both was exceptional

Thought I was having routine cataract surgery but other problems came to light. Everything was explained in detail from Mr Park and I was made to feel at ease. The whole team are extremely professional and nurse Carmen was lovely and supportive throughout the whole procedure. Would highly recommend this clinic

Really quick and efficient treatment (laser capsulotomy) The doctor put me completely at ease and the total time taken from my arrival at the clinic was around 20 minutes - excellent service.

I will struggle to explain how impressed I was with Midland eye. Having had laser surgery with a different clinic 18 years prior, the difference in care, support and clinical excellence has been night and day. Truly an excellent service. I had multiple appointments, medications and a treatment plan, all based from my initial appointment with no additional costs even before agreeing to surgery.

Professor Shah and the team were amazing, only proceeding after many consultations and planning. The surgery result has been excellent so far, and I have no hesitation thoroughly recommending Midland Eye Clinic to anyone who is considering optical surgery. Quality!!

I had a pre-op consultation prior to having cataract surgery. The appt. was made less than 3 weeks after the referral. The whole appt. seeing a nurse initially and then a consultant surgeon took less than 30 mins. Everything was explained clearly and I was impressed by the efficiency of the whole procedure.

I was refered to the centre for a cataract surgery. Great staff from start to finish and nurse Carmen was very helpful in explaining the procedure before and after the operation. I would highly recommend The Midland Eye clinic.

I had an excellent experience at the Midland Eye Clinic for cataract surgery. Everything from reception on arrival through preoperative procedures worked smoothly and efficiently. The surgery was explained in detail and my questions answered.
My thanks to everyone involved, particularly Mr Ressiniotis the surgeon, and Carmen the nurse who attended to and cared for me. Everyone was kind and considerate and I had confidence in them all.
I made the right choice when I elected to have the surgery there and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

I was treated with kindness and courtesy by the whole staff at Midland Eye Clinic and all my appointments were on time. I had clear lens replacement surgery in both eyes to correct my vision. I chose top of the range lenses and laser assisted surgery under the close supervision of Professor Shah. 36 hours after surgery I took off my nighttime eye shields and found my vision was good at all distances with only a little blurriness. I was utterly amazed and really excited. I had my follow up on Day 3 and was given the go ahead to drive! I hadn’t expected such a rapid recovery and I am so delighted. I am only 1 week post surgery and expect that my eyes will settle down further over time. Thank you Prof Shah and all at Midland Eye Clinic!

Entire staff put you at ease from the minute you walked in.

The clinic was easy to find and I was looked after very well while there. Everything to do with my treatment was explained fully and carefully which left me feeling very at ease.

I was born with cataracts, but was too frightened to have an operation to remove them. 52 years later I was going blind and had no choice! I chose Midland Eye as i figured going private they would have more time and patience with such a terrified patient! From the moment I dealt with everyone there they were amazing and put me totally at ease, from helping me choose the right surgeon for my procedure to sending me to a specialist to get eye measurements because I wouldn't let them near my eye! The care was outstanding from every receptionist/ nurse/ Dr I encountered. I am so truly grateful for every single person involved. Mr Resiniotis (my surgeon) went above and beyond to help me through this. He is just wonderful!

I was referred to the Centre for a cornea consultation. I was very impressed with the efficient and friendly staff from start to finish.
The tests were all explained to me and Mr Barua the consultant was very helpful explaining all the pros and cons with any ongoing treatment.
I would highly recommend the Midland Eye Centre.
