Had both eyes done now on two separate occasions. Amazing treatment with amazing results

I have to commend Mr Park and all the staff at Midland Eye for the excellent care I received. Special mention to Carmen for looking after me post op. In fact, what struck me most was the effort made by all the staff to ensure excellence was maintained throughout.

I recently visited for the second time for laser treatment. I received excellent care and treatment by Mr Barua and his team. I highly recommend this clinic.

Mr Rathod took great care to explain my capsulotomy procedure which he carried out painlessly with skill and reassurance. The procedure was successful and I’m very grateful to him and the Midland Eye clinic for a pleasant and excellent experience.

I have been under the care of Prof Shah for nearly 3 years now. I have been blown away by the exceptional care throughout. Whilst the eye surgery was quite painful to recover from, I was given all of the support and medication to get me through it. The aftercare has been excellent, too. I get to see Prof Shah and his team every time I visit. And I can’t not mention Jen Castle who is fantastic and super helpful.

All the staff are first class, from the receptionist to Prof Shah. I have had wonderful treatment from everyone. Appointments were easy to make and very accommodating as I had to travel quite a way to get there. Aftercare has always been good. All staff are pleasant and if you want to know anything they will always answer your questions. Highly recommended.

I received an honest and amazing service at Midland Eye. I recently attended four companies in order to discuss lens replacement (including Midland Eye). 2 said they would replace my lens and 2 said they would advise against it at the moment. Midland Eye were one of the companies who advised against it and explained in some great depth why. They explained that they did not want to overpromise and under deliver as my one eye was too good and they did not want to compromise that. The staff were amazing and when I can have it done I will return to Midland Eye for the surgery.

Who ever you are, go for it .
Midland Eye l would recommend to everyone , what wonderful staff and above all the greatest feeling after you have cataracts done like a new lease if life.

Had both my eyes done for cateract operation on NHS. No problems can see much better. Very professional had every opportunity to discuss outcomes. No pressure. Very happy

Exceptional aftercare and treatment

Absolutely first class a very professional service from professor Shar and his team I would not hesitate recommending Midland eye to anybody who needs eye care I feel I was in safe hands Indeed .

After 5 years of disappointing results from treatment - I was referred to Midland Eye in Solihull.
I am so pleased with the result - that I would never consider going anywhere else.

A huge shout out to Jen who spotted the notes on my consultancy form that mentioned a particular procedure that I didn’t want to go ahead with and other options I was hoping to proceed with. Jen promptly liaised with Prof Shah and put me through a quick eye test to determine whether it was worth going through the detailed eye exams. To conclude, no money was exchanged due to Jen’s quick thinking and I didn’t feel like I’d been taken advantage of! Thank you. I will definitely return when the time comes. The clinic is extremely professional and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

I was referred as a NHS patient for cataract surgery on both eyes. The treatment and care was excellent. My cataracts were described as very dense and it took about 5 weeks for clear vision to return. Although I was fearful there was no pain at all during the surgery. I'm now able to drive in the dark without glasses. My thanks to all at Midland Eye for their professional and friendly treatment.

Midland Eye gives an excellent service throughout all departments. Reception, medical staff & surgeons are all exceptional in their care & communication skills. I have had two cateract ops & two two laser treatments. I cannot thank Midland Eye enough for their amazing care.

Gerald Docker attended his appointment in his wheelchair. Access was excellent. The lift was perfect. He had to move from his wheelchair to the 'special' chairs for the specific tests. All was made possible. The tests went ahead without delay.

Recently had my second cataract surgery. Had no fear after having the first done with faultless service.
Can now see with both eyes but may need glasses just for close reading etc but need to let the eyes settle fully before these can be sorted.
10/10 for the whole package.

I have found Midland Eye to be absolutely excellent from 'all angles' ! Easy to use services, great administration, fabulous team of committed individuals leading to a good outcome from my surgery. Thanks a lot
