As aoon as I walked in was greeted by a really friendly staff member who was very helpful especially as I had my 2 year old with me. Definitely recommend for getting your fight gear!

Just wanted to share my experience with Minotaur Fight Shop (minotaurfightstore.co.uk) in case it helps anyone avoid the same headache.

I ordered a heavy bag from them a month ago. Their website said delivery would take 1–2 days, which was a big reason I chose them. After placing my order, I heard nothing for over two weeks. I had to chase them up multiple times just to get any kind of update.

Eventually, they told me that delivery for punch bags actually takes 10–14 working days (not stated anywhere on the site at the time). Fine, I decided to wait.

But it gets worse: After more waiting, they promised delivery today (22nd May) however I got a message yesterday from the courier saying my delivery was postponed AGAIN to the 28th of May because Minotaur didn’t have the item available when the driver showed up! So it seems they never even had my order ready to go. Who knows if they even have the item in stock.

Also I tried to call them over 100 times and they never picked it up.

I’ve wasted so much time chasing them I wish I would have read the multiple negative reviews about them everywhere.

TL;DR:
If you value your time and sanity, I’d recommend avoiding Minotaur Fight Shop. I still don’t have my item and have no idea when (or if) it will arrive.

Good quality items, friendly staff all the new fighting gear in store

Came to get some gloves + knee protection. Jevi was helpful in giving me advice for the right kind of gloves.

Getting what I needed was very quick and simple.

TL;DR: Getting your order delivered is like pulling teeth. Inventory and shipping speed are both misrepresented on their website. Paid for premium shipping on 16 April and to this day (1 May) my order is only partially fulfilled. Maybe shopping in their physical store is fine but they really should close up their website — they're too inexperienced to handle the demands of being an ecommerce business.

Placed an order for shin guards and head guard on 16 April, Wednesday order number ending in 67. Paid for "UK PREMIUM - Delivery is in 1-2 business days". Because of the 4-day weekend, I was expecting the order would arrive on 23 April at the latest.

I was emailed on 18/04 that the shin guard I ordered was out of stock, so I arranged for a replacement. A Royal Mail tracking number was given on the same day. On 24 April, there was still no package and the tracking number wasn't updating. By this point, I checked online reviews which got me in a panic so I called the shop. They claimed that Royal Mail lost the package. (I'm not sure I believe this given the events thereafter.)

Their sales manager (I believe Jevi) is very helpful, but unfortunately I think the shop's warehouse manager and Jevi's boss(es) are a combination of negligent, apathetic, and maybe incompetent.

So I called and spoke to Jevi (maybe also another sales person) about five times across 24, 25, 28, and 29 April. Way too much chasing for a simple online order!

I explained (and repeated over the next few calls) that I needed the gear to arrive some days before I was meant to start my Muay Thai workshop so I had time to fit the gear and find a replacement if I didn't find them suitable. (And because it's a workshop with a fixed start date, I can't delay my schedule!)

As it turned out, the initial replacement I requested was also out of stock. Why the warehouse manager sat on this information for several days — I don't know. I chose another replacement and Jevi arranged for next day delivery for 30 April. No tracking number was given.

30 April: The shin guards arrived but no the head guard? I called. Jevi explained it was coming from a different shop. Nevertheless, if the head guard was in stock — why did the other warehouse not ship a replacement sooner?

So as of today, I still don't have the head guard. I was told I would receive this tomorrow. No tracking number was given (again).

Please AVOID this online shop at all costs!

Ordered some fair Tex shorts waited over 3 weeks for them to be delivered, had no correspondence back from the company when asking for a refund. Terrible service.

Great service and knowledge

Placed an order for some shinguards.after reading the reviews decided to ring and ask if the items were in stock.Spoke to jevi(who I must add was the only person who was of any help).He told me unfortunately the items were out if stock but would be available in 5 days time if I was willing to wait,which I did.I was given a tracking number but after 5 days of the item not reaching royal mails hub I decided to contact them again.I was then told that tge item was not available, I was offered an alternative which I did not want so requested a refund.Jevi told me thus would be issued and to allow 7 / 10 working days for this to process .After 5 days I rang and emailed again to check if it had been processed. It had not apparently the refund did not go through properly.I was told by jevi that it would be rectified and could I wait for my refund again!! As of yet I am yet to recieve my refund and putting in a dispute with PayPal to reclaim my money.Not worth the hassle avoid if I were you.Feel sorry for jevi he comes across as a good person but unfortunately the rest of his company seems to let him down.

I ordered a bag from the store 2weeks ago they said got some issues etc.still didn’t arrive.Not recommend at all
