Mitchell & Dickinson レビュー

We had secondary double glazing installed by Mitchell and Dickinson last September so we have now been through three seasons. The whole process from first enquiry to completion was without fault. The survey was excellent and the team who came to do the work were excellent. We only use the property part time (not being there was useful, they bring a surprising amount of kit!) but this was to prepare for a full move this year. We were kept up to date with any installation issues that occurred. I don’t know whether it is psychological but with an extra layer of glazing the house ‘felt’ warmer when we were there during the winter and I think it has helped with heat retention on some big sash windows. We had an issue with condensation. This has not been completely resolved, probably about 90% so nearly there.

The end result is elegant and the engineered and draft proofed windows glide open and shut with ease. The house was left neat, tidy and clean.

These windows were not cheap, but this is a high quality product. I am happy to give five stars

We are more than satisfied with the outstanding job done by Josh and Matt earlier this month!
The whole process was seamless and the results outstanding. What incredible craftsmen and their meticulous attention to detail could not be improved.
They were a pleasure to have in our home.
In fact the whole process from quotation to survey to installation and all communication with the office has been clear and friendly.
We look forward to experiencing more warmth and less condensation on the historic windows of our Grade 2 listed property without any compromising on the beauty of the original windows.
They are also easy to open and close now.
Thank you for providing and installing such a remarkable product.

The team worked really hard to finish on time and were helpful, respectful of our privacy as well as being super friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mitchell and Dickinson to my friends. It is an expensive project but well worth the cost in my opinion.

The whole experience couldn’t have been better. Luke and the team did a great job transforming windows which we daren’t open into ones which have made the flat look the best it’s been. The flat has been left spotless. We weren’t living in the flat but we were kept uptodate with photos. I couldn’t recommend Mitchell & Dickinson more highly - a very professional, respectful and experienced company.

From our first contact with Mitchell & Dickinson, everything has been done with first class efficiency. Contact from the office has been very good and informative and the workmen coming to assess, measure and then fit the CosyGlazing to all our windows has been second to none.
Ben and Kane, who actually fitted it all for us, were very clean, tidy and professional throughout.
We are more than happy with the glazing, it looks fantastic.
Happy to highly recommend Mitchell & Dickinson.

A really excellent service from Harry, Nico and Egan. They did a very professional job with painstaking attention to detail and working round the vagaries of our home life - including a new cat! The Cosyglazing finished product looks really smart, very unobtrusive and in keeping with our Grade II cottage. Now we need to wait for a frosty day to see/feel the full effect of the secondary glazing.

I don’t normally leave reviews, however we have now completed two phases of work with Mitchell & Dickinson. Both experiences have been faultless, from the initial enquiry through to the teams that installed the CosyGlazing and the insulation we had fitted to the vaulted ceiling in our bedroom. The craftsmanship is impressive and the team were all polite, efficient and kept everything clean and tidy. We are already noticing the benefits – our farmhouse is so much warmer.

I have been very impressed with the work Mitchell and Dickinson have done. My house is not only much warmer but the secondary glazing is discreet and tasteful. Particular thanks go to Arturo and Peter for being so efficient, reliable and pleasant.

They start doing my windows and middle of my project they left for two weeks and go to another project, letting me really down!! I have renovation going on in my house and it’s costing me massive delays!! When I spoke with the boss he simply said we have not enough people , but we have other projects waiting for us, and so you have to wait !! Outrageous!! Greedy !! They weren’t flexible either- they said we won’t work with other builders in a house ( which they doing bathrooms!!!) ., Awful company, so regret engaging with them , was VERY Stressful experience!

It has been a pleasure to deal with Mitchell Dickinson.
Everyone I spoke to has been knowledgeable, helpful and charming . The team fitting the secondary glazing did a wonderful job, taking enormous care with every detail. They were also kind and considerate and very tidy.
The secondary glazing has made a huge difference; I no longer have any condensation and the house feels warmer and quieter.

Extremely professional, skilled craftsmen who were extremely sensitive to the look of the windows, ensuring that the glazing was sympathetic to the period features.

Mitchell and Dickinson’s team returned in early January 2025 to complete the secondary glazing in my listed home which can’t be double glazed. The team were a pleasure to have around and worked hard. As before, I was impressed by their knowledge, craft and professionalism and their consideration. The system, for both my sash and casement windows as well as static windows and also the draught proofing of my doors is excellent. It was described to me by a visiting energy efficiency firm as “The Rolls Royce of Secondary Glazing”. Certainly it has made a big difference to soundproofing and the house retaining its heat. Thank you.

I have just had secondary glazing installed in two windows of my house. I have found the team to be very professional and pleasant and the work seems to have been carried out to exacting specifications. The house feels warmer as the window are on the most exposed side. In addition the work they did to the windows has rendered them easier to open and close. I am very satisfied. They are not cheap, but worth it in my view.

An excellent experience from start to finish with detailed analysis of the work to be done by the sales person and surveyor and impressive communication in general via phone and email. The highly skilled craftsmen were respectful and friendly and went above and beyond to fit two windows and insulate two large attics. Worth every penny.

We do not normally respond to these guides but as the product and service was exemplary we felt we should leave a review. The two gentlemen, Harry and Nicky, who fitted the secondary glazing were extremely helpful, extremely tidy and we could not fault anything they did for us. As far as the product is concerned, it fits perfectly and its is almost impossible to see that it has been fitted.
We would highly recommend the company and its product.

We were impressed with the craftsmanship and care. Nothing was too much trouble. We are very satisfied with the result and the house is significantly warmer. Timescales were extended but this was handled openly and sensitively.

All of the M&D representatives who came to our house - at each stage of the process - were good-natured, well focused on their tasks and obviously highly-skilled. The members of the small installation team were careful, considerate and happy to give a little extra at every turn. We are very satisfied with the completed work. It is already proving its value.

Everyone I had contact with at Mitchell and Dickinson was professional, friendly and helpful. In the office, particular thanks go to Lora, Debbie and Isobel for their patience with my endless questions.
My two main craftsmen were Joe and Greg, who were superb. Prompt, polite and friendly, and most importantly, skilled and meticulous with their attention to detail. The restoration work was fantastic - the windows look great. The draft-proofing and secondary glazing are already making a noticeable difference - I'm glad we had the work done before this winter!

Hands down the most professional company I've engaged with who operate in the trades / building / insulation space.
Communication was always clear, timely and they make great effort to talk through solutions and options for your home. 100% recommend.

The work done at my house in Odiham was excellent.
Tony Wotherspoon was efficient, tidy and very polite and helpful.
I recommend him most highly
