After purchasing an 8mph scooter last


After purchasing an 8mph scooter last year where I was greatly helped by Chris and Paul, I returned recently to buy a cover. Unfortunately the one I chose did not suit my purpose so it was returned for a refund which Paul promptly arranged for me, he also kindly corrected an error I made sending the return. I have communicated often with both Chris and Paul who showed great patience with my queries as buying online is not as easy as seeing items in the flesh so their knowledge was invaluable. Out of several mobility companies I have dealt with over the years this one is a cut above the rest which is so reassuring especially as there is no pressure selling and customer service is very good.

Wont allow 0 stars. Ordered a scooter for my father on the 25th may 2024. We have received no tracking information or any email explaining anything. On the first call i was advised to wait 10 days. I have just called again today and the lady could not answer any questions and was apparently from “the dedicated call answering team”. Please look into this as this is not how a business should operate.

Severe lack of communcation

Received really bad service from these guys.

Website needs updating so the stock levels are correct before people purchase. They allow you to order and pay before telling you it's out of stock and you need to wait. We paid for the scooter in mid march and in 2 and half months we were abandoned with the only communication being that they were having stock issues and it was on order and that was only as a reply to an email send to them. Never pro active to let you know what's happening, happy to just leave you in limbo. Unlike others, we didn't get offered an alternative.

Confirmed I was receiving a refund 19 days ago, still waiting and they refuse to reply to the emails sent to them. Confirmation email states I will receive my money up to 10 days later or 7 working days. That would be true if they actually processed the refund on time, clearly they don't.

For a company that clearly deals mainly with disabled customers, I think they're disgusting with their service. Clearly more and more have been saying the same recently.

Ordered the same model elsewhere and received it the next working day, cheaper too.

If you really want to use them, email them first and ask if they have stock, if not go elsewhere.

Update - still waiting, 4 emails sent in just over 3 weeks and still no reply or money returned.

This company is very poor on promises and communication.

Ordered scooter on 30/4/24 to eventually be told not in stock. Offered 2 alternatives but still no scooter. Cancelled order on 30/5. Offered refund and sent terms and conditions saying a full refund will be made within 7 working days and funds can take up to 10 days to appear back in account. Now 19th June and no refund! This company is very poor on promises and communication.

Great friendly service

Company kept me informed of delivery details and tried to accommodate me with preferred times of arrival. Rob was very helpful in showing me how to use the scooter. He also took the time to help me to fit the scooter into my car which took a few tries!

Monarch yellow awesomeness

Ordered a Monarch Ezifold auto fold with Paul who was very knowledgeable and helped finding out extra information for me on the extra batteries I wanted etc. it was such a great experience and getting the chair Monday morning really helped me out. Thanks Mobility Scooters Plus

Avoid this company!!!!

Avoid this company!!!!
On 21st April I ordered an Atto Scooter for my Disabled Son a Paralympic TT player who will be competing in Paris 2024 paying £3,195.00.
When it didn't arrive I contacted Mobility scooters who told me it was out of stock when I ordered and they would soon have an update. When I still had no delivery update I cancelled the order and requested a refund on 14th May.
Despite emailing constantly it has taken them until 5th June to actually refund the money.
This company has caused me so much stress and anxiety. They don't really reply to emails unless you bombard them, You can't speak to anyone and although I made it clear I wanted the refund urgently they really couldn't be bothered to expedite my refund despite the very large sum involved.
For a company whose main customer base will be Disabled and Elderly their customer service is dreadful and I really don't know how people with any communication difficulties would manage.
Rob Netherclift is listed as General Manager I really think he needs to get his act together

Wow Mobility Scooter plus are fantastic

Wow, what can I say about Mobility Scooter plus apart from they are absolutely fantastic. I messaged to ask some information about a scooter for my father within 10 minutes I had a phone call to answer all my queries. We decided to buy the scooter. We had a 3 week deadline for the scooter to be delivered which they delivered by. I was kept up to date via emails and Dad had phone calls as well. So if your looking for a helpful company then definitely use these people.

Great communication

Great communication. Bag as described. Quick delivery and Paul let me know that the bag which I ordered for my Dad had been left with his Neighbour. Will use company again should we need any more equipment.

Is this a scam?

I ordered a scooter on the 30th April and waited patiently for delivery. On the 30th April they told me they had no stock and would not be getting one in. They offered me an alternative for delivery. After chasing this for a further 22 days they did not have any stock and had delivery problems from the manufacturer. On the 22 May they offered me another model for immediate delivery. No mention of stock issues when I ordered the scooter. My main complaint is really poor customer service, you cannot phone them as they use a call centre handling system and they are poor at getting back. So is this a scam company? In the meantime I have a severely disabled father-in law without a scooter for over 30 days so far. Be wary of ordering anything from this company. Yesterday they promised an update this morning - yes you know the answer - no update - my advice would be to check if the item is in stock but sorry you have to go through the call centre and guess what you may be waiting for a reply

From the outset Paul and his team were so helpful and gave excellent advice when l explained what l wanted - no sales pressure just a genuine interest in my requirements - would not hesitate to recommend - his follow up calls were much appreciated - 11 out of 10 for effort and execution of transaction!

is this a scam?

I ordered a scooter on the 1st May and waited patiently for delivery, on the 9th May i contacted them to find out why i hadn't received the scooter, to be informed that they didn't have one in stock nor did the manufacturers and i would be informed when one was available. No mention of stock issues when i ordered the scooter. We were unable to agree a suitable alternative so i cancelled the order and purchased the same scooter elsewhere ,it arrived within 2 days. Anyway according to terms of contract i should have had a full refund within 5-7 days, i waited 14 days before contacting them again and still no resolution. My main complaint is really poor customer service, you cannot phone them as they use a call centre handling system and they never call back. i've tried to speak to the manager, no response there either. so is this a scam company? its now been 18 days and still no refund and no positive communication. Be wary of ordering anything from this company.

Good value and goo service

The scooter took a bit longer to come than expected but l was kept informed as to what was going on at all times and so l wasnt worried. Nice kind friendly staff scooter is really lovely and l am enjoying being free again. Thank you

I will recommend this company

I bought a Rascal 250 Wego from mobilityscooterplus because they are no longer available in the Netherlands. I had very good contact with Chris and he helped me enormously with the purchase of the scooter. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who asks me.
