The next day their customer service [Juan Yepes and Gloria Medina] informed us "they considered it ...'within tolerance for a handmade frame" and refused to exchange the bed. Terribly dishonest.

I cannot get any clear status update. Every time I contact customer service, I speak to someone new who has no idea what is going on. No accountability, no follow-through, and no solution. not recommend it.
Now Iâve paid twice for delivery and Iâm stuck with a bed I donât need and didnât want to keep. This has been an extremely frustrating experience and I would not recommend this company.

I found Modloft online and needed to wait a couple years to order furniture. While I was very reluctant to purchase items I had never seen in person, never sat on or felt the material, I am so glad I trusted my gut and continued with my order.
I did what you are not supposed to do and purchased all my furniture from the same company. The Carlisle Sectional, James Chair, Finsburry Coffee table, Wembley dining table, 2 Harper dining chairs, 3 Mercer Bar Stools and 2 Nassau side tables. I worked with Andrea and she did a fantastic job picking out all the items for my space. The positives - I absolutely love every item! My style is more contemporary industrial and Modloft fit that style better than anywhere else. The look, quality, design for the price is exceptional. The items look exactly like they do on the website. The furniture is just beautiful! All items were bigger than I had anticipated, better quality and stunning. As for the Customer Service portion. I really kind of put Modloft thru the ringer. I originally placed my order, put it on hold the next day and then changed the order. Modloft was fantastic and adapted quickly to all my changes. I had to return a couple of the items and again, they provided excellent customer service. The only negative was shipping. Donât pay attention to âin stockâ or âshipping datesâ. This will only frustrate you. I had multiple shipments. After the 2nd one, I realized my items will probably be delayed/late and I wouldnât get tracking information. I just trusted the process and when my items finally arrived, I loved them. I really canât say enough positives about them. I am hoping to purchase even more items from them in the near future.

I purchased a sectional, two nightstands, and a dresser from Modloft. While I have received the sectional, I am still waiting for the nightstands and dresser.
Modloft lists items as "in stock," but once the order is placed, I receive an email from customer service stating that the items are backordered. I waited a month for my sectional, and now it's been another month with no updates or estimated arrival time for the nightstands and dresser. This lack of transparency and communication is extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
While I appreciate the company's designs, the customer service experience has been disappointing. The representative I spoke with, was not only rude but also dismissive of my concerns. Based on this experience, I do not anticipate ordering from Modloft again.

I should have checked Trust Pilot sooner! I ordered a Netta outdoor set in April and spoke with a person at their store. I was told it would be charcoal gray and arrive in 3 weeks. Well...they charged my credit card right away and then postponed delivery 3 times. At long last, today we received the set in the wrong color and were told it just looked different on-line. It was khaki green - not gray. I asked them to take it back. Now they are going to charge me $299 plus 20% re-stocking fee. Highway robbery for their lies and postponements. This company should go out of business.

DO NOT BUY FROM MODLOFT
I am a designer and bought an outdoor ping pong table from Modloft for a client. In less than a year, the table is chipping and falling a part. Because I purchased the table a few months before i installed it at my client's site, Modloft stated that it is outside of the warranty period and they will do nothing to help me. I now have to replace this table at my OWN cost because I take care of my customers even though Modloft DOES NOT. I am so very disappointed in their apathy and unwillingness to find some type of solution that would work for me and my client. This table was more that $4000 and they just shrug and say 'it's out of warranty'. Worst customer service and products don't perform. I will never purchase from Modloft again and if you are smart, you won't either....!!

I am a designer. I do a lot staging for new condo buildings. My recent experience with Modloft has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased a table that cost over $5,000, and the entire process, from delivery to customer service, was utterly disappointing.
When the table arrived, it was evident that the shipping process had been inappropriate and reckless. The table was severely damaged upon opening the box. It was not just a minor scratch; it was significant, rendering the table unusable and unsightly.
I contacted their customer service to address the issue and requested a refund or an exchange. However, I was met with stubborn resistance and complete refusal. The lack of cooperation and refusal to make amends was beyond frustrating.
What adds insult to injury is the complete absence of any apologies from Modloft. It is astonishing that they can treat customers who have invested so much in their products with such disregard and indifference.

BED
Before I ordered our Worth Bed, I reached out to see if it could be held because we didn't have our address yet but I knew I wanted it. They said "yes" and they would reach out to logistics and hold it until we were ready. A little over a week later it shipped and since our relocation was pushed, we have to accept the bed, put it in a Uhaul, and move it ourselves (It was over 300 pounds). They DIDN'T offer to refund the "white glove delivery at the time".
TABLE
We ordered a dining room table that was in stock and said would ship between 10/17 and 10/25. After 4 weeks, I asked for an update on shipping to the local delivery and they said it would be the next week. It didn't ship the next week so I followed up and asked to cancel at that point. It had been 5 weeks for an order in stock. They said it was because we lived in a place they don't deliver to often. Los Angeles - we live in Los Angeles............. Delivery estimate then turned into 12 weeks later and I cancelled. They charged a $600 restock fee for something that was never shipped or stocked at all. They also refused to refund the white glove fee for the bed and said the carrier said I refused it. Even though I had proof of the conversation where they shipped too early.
I'm not an expert, but in total, that is $700 they made via fake claims and fraud.
You decide if you want to buy from them after that.

If possible I could give them minus five. I brought 2 nightstand and 1 bed, bed came without 1 leg, I wasted installation fee because of them, all they offered a replacement leg! Next when I tried to install nightstand found drawer were product. After several communications they send a handyman who fix it with recommendations that he was not sure how long it Going to stay. During that complain I also mentioned 2 nightstand top color patterns is totally different though I brought same model nightstand. Next nightstand top color now fading, peeling. And guess how much I paid for each of them $640 !!! Never they accepted they delivered poor quality product. No compensation for wasting my money all over again and again. Pathetic customer service.
Incredibly Dangerous Design and Horrible Customer Service
Bought this table approximately 2 years ago. The tempered glass top on my table spontaneously shattered one evening when we were away. After further investigation, we discovered the glass top was siliconed down to the wood table top by at least an entire tube of silicone (see pictures below). Because the glass is fixed so rigidly to the table top, as the wood expands and contracts it caused the glass to shatter. I spent the next days cleaning shattered glass from my house and cutting my hands and head in the process. Modloftâs customer service was horrific. They refused to apologize, accused me of damaging the table and lying about it, and refusing to answer my questions on how I could get the top replaced. Avoid Modloft and their incredibly dangerous products.
Terrible quality furniture and non existent customer service
I bought two side tables for $1300 and the quality of the marble and the granite and the build quality is terrible. After contacting them multiple times, I didnât receive a response and it all seems like a fraudulent business trying to offload low quality furniture to consumers.
