I purchased 3 countertop-height bar stools from Modloft last year and paid almost $800 a piece for each. At this price point you would think these chairs are of high quality , but you would be wrong. Less than a year after they look like they are 10 years old, because the backs of the chairs which are made of a wood veneer easily scratch against any hard surface and looked scratched up now (and a counter top which these chairs are supposed to be next to is always a hard surface). I reached out to the retailer I bought these from and they filed a warranty claim to Modloft only for them to come back and say that it is my fault and that the chairs are "too close to counter top". I video was provided to them with the chair almost a foot away from the counter top, but when rotated would still come in contact with the countertop and damage the back of the chair. There isn't a distance you can place these at which would be both comfortable to sit and eat or drink and avoid contact with the back of the chairs if they rotated with the countertop. Even despite being clearly a manufacturing and testing defect of these chairs Modloft came back with "well other customers don't have this problem, so it's your fault"-warrantly claim denied. Absolutely ridiculous company and response that doesn't stand behind their product quality issues - avoid their garbage furniture at all costs

Ordered an expandable dining table from here and after a few days I noticed there was slight damage to the table. Without hesitation, they arranged for a replacement tabletop for me in which both time the delivery was further damaged than the original table. They continued to communicate with me regarding the replacement and ensured that the table was packaged in a manner there wouldn't be any damages. It may have taken 6 months (due to backorder) for me to get the table.without damage, but well worth the experience and wait with the service Modloft provided me. The Astor Dining Table is even more elegant in person

Placed an order for a King Bed that was in stock on 9/21/22. Modloft said to expect delivery in October. After hearing nothing, called again to check on it and they said it was in transit. Nov. and Dec roll by with still no explanation. When you call customer service they tell you that they will look into it and call you back, but they never do. On 1/13/23 Modloft says it is at the delivery company. I was able to confirm that the bed is waiting to be scheduled for delivery. Hopeful that the bed will arrive soon. Just want people to know that when you order from this company, you have to spend a ton of your own time following up on orders. How can a bed that is in stock take over 5 months to get!

I purchased the Astor Dining Table. Upon arrival, I was impressed- it really is a beautiful table. However, after a few uses, basic actions like passing a plate would yield a scratch. Really poor quality. I reached out and it took many, many follow up emails and calls to get a response. When I finally did, it was we can't do anything about it (from Miguel Perez). If you write a review on their website that is negative or on their instagram, it will be deleted. If you are interested in real reviews, take a look at their yelp or BBB.
