Poor communication
Poor communication, didnt return calls or assist in helping me when the driver didn't arrive when they told me he would.
Accepted no responsibility towards choosing the subcontractored driver.
If I ever need to ship a trailer across country again, I wont use them.

Delivery was late and late a second time.
I was told my motorcycle would be delivered by the end of my delivery day and I was thinking a reasonable time until I was asked if I could take a delivery at 1am the next day. No way I am starting up a motorcycle at those hours in the morning with my neighbors, much less will I be up. Then I was told he would be there at 9am the next morning. He was 2 hours late. We as customers have lives to live also, not just be sitting around until a delivery shows up. I asked for updates every few hours to be able to go and do what I need to, but the company failed to do this as requested, so we were just stuck at home so we wouldn’t miss our delivery.
Positive note - The company was easy and respectful when talking.

This company is just a dispatch and or broker. I would not suggest using these people. The initial pick up was a window for 2-3. Driver was there first thing in the morning. Spoke zero english. Very pushy to get on the road. Some how drivers and trucks were switched. Another non English speaking person. I wouldn’t recommend using this business at all. Communication is terrible.
No communication, increased price after I paid.
Initially, representative was responsive but that was before I paid the dispatch deposit. After paying, there was zero response to 5 or 6 emails asking for updates on pickup and to give me something of a delivery window the day prior. Had to call in and wait on hold to get someone on the phone, which was Andre and Andre is completely worthless. They eventually got a driver but then the price increased almost 100$ from their quote I agreed on- Had I read reviews on Monarch, I would have known to expect the price increase, so that's on me I guess. I think their business model revolves around under-quoting to get you in the door, and then when no driver takes the pickup they jack the price up. Delivery scheduling happened approximately 1 hour prior to the driver wanting to drop off despite many attempts by me to get some kind of time frame the day prior so that I could accommodate around my work schedule. It was fun getting a call from the driver while I'm at work, in the middle of the day Friday asking if there was any way I could leave work to take delivery so that he could continue on to his next destination. I don't blame the driver for that, I blame Monarch and their lack of service and response. I've had a car delivered in the past that was damaged by the delivery driver, and that other company was extremely responsive and bent over backwards to get the problem fixed. I am absolutely certain that had this happened with Monarch, it would have been a complete disaster given their level of service. I gave plus one star because the driver worked with me (3rd party driver) and waited for me to get home to make delivery which really jammed him up for his long haul over night to the next delivery. Whatever, live and learn. I do hate middle-men like this that take a fee and offer absolutely no value whatsoever.

I read a couple of these reviews and I will just say we had the best experience ever. First time transporting ever they made it smooth. The quote was perfect. Did not vary a penny and they were in constant contact with plenty of emails.
Our driver was courteous he took pictures. I took pictures of him lol, cause you know, I thought it was a scam. I’m not a very trusting person expected the car to be dismantled and returned, but was still going for it.

First Driver was no show had to reach out Monarch multiple times to get a replacement. When they did find another driver the price went up drastically from what I was originally quoted asked Monarch to cover they difference and they said no it was the policy that it could go up even though it was outside of the 5 days. Once the car got delivered it was scratched on 1 side reached out to Monarch 2 times and asked what they were going to do to cover the repair and got no response. Car was only transported 90 miles could not imagine what it would be like to move something across the US. Would not use again and would not suggest anybody to use Monarch.
Dishonest, Discourteous, Disingenuous
They "locked in" a price of $830 for transporting my vehicle from California to Texas, in two payments. The advertisement said "Insured, no extra fees." The initial charge was $200 at the time of dispatching the driver, and the second charge for the remainder would happen after the service had been completed. I was now awaiting a dispatch to pick up the vehicle. Three days went by until they found someone to take the vehicle. No one had yet been dispatched.
They had already charged my account prior to dispatching a driver, and denied doing so. I was adamant that the transaction had already processed, but they still denied it. After my third insistence, they said "oh, we did try to charge it but it says "processing." They wanted to charge the card again, this time for $250 instead of the agreed upon $200. The total for the transaction had gone from $830 to $1030, and when I pressed about why fees had been tacked on--I got no reasonable answer. "The path they have to drive between the destinations isn't a normal route."
I decided that I didn't want them dispatching anyone to transport my vehicle, and despite no services rendered--they took a $150 charge from my account as a cancellation fee. When I raised the issue and how their behavior is in violation of the consumer protection act, they ignored me.
We Had A Lovely Experience
I gotta say, I freaked out a bit after reading some reviews (after sending in my contract) but we had a stellar experience using Monarch. They kept in touch with calls, emails, and texts— found an amazing transport guy, and my car was delivered within 24 hours of them securing a transporter.
My quote went up maybe $40ish dollars— a menial amount to me, and it turned out it was in an enclosed trailer, so that’s totally worth an increase to me.
If you’re flexible on your timeline and understand that your quote might go up a little, then you will be AOK (at least from my personal experience).
Would totally use them again, and appreciate the help and communication Monarch provided!
Worst experience with a shipping…
Worst experience with a shipping company I’ve ever had. The customer service is horrible. They don’t call back. The companies that they contract with don’t communicate. As of this date, my vehicles have not left the state even tho they were picked up 2-3 days ago. I will arrive to my destination tomorrow 2/21/26 and have Monie when my 4 vehicles will be delivered because I can’t get ahold of anyone at monarch

Easy process from start to finish in booking. The transport was assigned quickly and efficiency carried out. Driver was professionals and friendly. Would definitely use this service again when needed.

They are a bait and switch company; they give you a low ball rate, do not provide a timely pick up date and then charge you a cancellation fee
Horrible
Everything went wrong from price being increased, to car falling off ramps, delayed in delivery for over 5 days, when contacted they kept referring me to the carrier instead of reaching out and handling issues. Then owner of carrier company stated not to bother him, driver kept providing eta on delivery date 10 am the guaranteed 5:30pm currently almost 8pm and vehicle has not arrived.
What a joke
Everything seemed positive until day 2 of the “transport within 1-3 days” when I contacted them to see if the bike would be picked up by the next day and I got “they are working on it now”. Then “I’m going to have a dispatch team member reach out with an update”. Day 3, “Hi Becca, just wanted to update you. We're looking for a driver, I will keep you updated”. When I reminded him the bike was to be picked up that day I was told they were working on it. Then I get a call saying they found someone but the price nearly doubled. Originally they texted me saying, “ Hi Becca, shipping your 2026 Harley Davidson Road glide to Redding, CA is just $349.00—no extra fees & insured! Monarch Transport makes it easy. Call/text this phone number.
Any specific instructions?”. When I reminded him of that he literally told me I should have read the fine print. After being told transport would call me by a specific time a few times, I got the number from Monarch and called, they said Monarch canceled on them. Call back and he says they didn’t. They finally got me a transporter for the next day, day 4 of 1-3 days! I sent N email asking if I would be reimbursed the amount they charge if a customer reschedules since they were a day late, no response. After being assured it would be “$349-no extra fees”, I ended up paying $530. The only positive experience was the actual transporter was cool.
Bait and switch.
Monarch advertised as a trucking company that transported ATV. They are actually a broker who just looks for a company that has a load coming my way. That took over a month. The truck they found was a car hauler. I was shipping a golf cart which is narrower than wheelbase than a car. It took three hours to load it and another two to unload it. Luckily it didn’t get damaged. Lastly they quoted me $895. When they found a driver the cost went up to $1,400. Obviously I wouldn’t recommend them. PS The driver, Nokoli, of the company they contacted with was great.
Not picked up.
Received email for scheduled pickup on Wednesday Feb 3. Still not picked up Feb 4 (4:30 pm) up without an email, text or phone call.
Frustrating. Sad business with the technology in 2026!

Terrific job!! Sabrina the scheduler was excellent, made the process easy and kept me informed every step of the way until my bike was delivered even through the worst winter storm in a very long time. The driver clearly took great care to make sure that my bike would be protected and undamaged through the shipment. I read a couple of reviews that were very critical but some people are impossible to please. My experience was flawless. I would not hesitate to use Monarch again and highly recommend them.
