Junk product. Not even close to as advertised. I didn't buy the previous two bags, which according to the other backers on Kickstarter, was a good product made with quality. This was is nothing near the $170 paid for. Forget the months of waiting and poor communication, things like this happen i guess. But the product is probably worth $65 at most. Forgot to mention I didn't get the add-ons that I purchased and got a black bag instead of the brown one I ordered. Only thing this company should get credit for is awesome advertising/promo video. It got me very interested, along with 3K backers!

They have horrible communication with their customers. I backed their Kickstarter campaign on April and it said that we would receive our reward on May. Once the campaign was over, everyone was pretty much left hanging with no updates about what was going on.

I just recently received my bag at the end of August. The branding was changed from "Montage" to "Montley" and it was never explained why this change was made. Other than that my personal bag was fine, but there are plenty of people who have received backpacks that have dents in them, have a strong bad smell, and have bad zippers.

It was not a good experience. I definitely do not recommend.

I placed an order on the 27th of May but so far I have not received an order and I have already sent a message to this Facebook page without receiving any response. I sent a message to “Indiegogo” and they said to talk to you and I did but so far I have not received a response. I ordered a Backpack Montage and I have to receive it. I need to have an answer when I receive the order because it was paid for and it was supposed to arrive in June and so far I haven't received it. I need an answer please

The initial Kickstarter campaign advertising appeared promising, but unfortunately, it turned into a disappointing experience. After eagerly contributing, there was a complete disappearance of any updates or communication regarding the project. It has been five months of anticipation, and to date, there has been no delivery of the promised goods that were originally expected by May.

While the project creators assured that orders had been completed on July 19, with plans to ship on July 21, any subsequent communication has been nonexistent. This entire situation feels like a scam, leaving me feeling utterly frustrated and disappointed. It's disheartening to see such lack of transparency and accountability.

This experience serves as a reminder to exercise caution and thorough research before engaging with any crowdfunding campaigns. It's unfortunate that this project has turned out this way, and it's truly disappointing to witness such a lack of integrity.

Shame on you for misleading and letting down your backers.

0 star if possible. I made 3 orders and one of them arrived but the 2 others didn't. So I wanted to cancel my order because I could not wait anymore since it was way pass the estimated shipping period. Their customer service is almost nonexistent. Very poor communication with little to no help. The refund was promised 10 weeks ago but still I have not receive any...

Their first response was that I should get my refund within 1-2 weeks. Well it didn't. Next email they said the person responsible for refund process was away and will handle my refund once he/she comes back.

I emailed them many times until another 2 weeks passed by and their response was that their system has issues and they are trying to fix it and then proceed with my refund. I emailed many times again and the same problem again... some issues and they are trying to fix it.

Another week passed by and they said that my refund is already followed up meaning I should get my money back in one or maximum two weeks. Well now 3 weeks has passed by since that email and surprise surprise... I still have not received my money back...

Do not make any purchase from them. You will end up being disappointed and lose your money.

I will report their website to Visa and MasterCard so that their business will be shutdown for good.

This is a scam company to avoid. When asked on 12 July, they said items are going to be delivered on 15 July as promised(this is after the delay from the initial May date), which is intentional lies because they then disappeared on 15 July, only to delay again at the very last minute, when it is so obvious that they already knew they couldn’t fulfill by 15 July. Anyone can look up the comments on their page to see how this company managed to lie through their teeth.

In fact they still owe me shipping fees and refused to reply after weeks of asking.

It’s been more than 4 months and my order hasn’t been shipped yet. I asked my order status and they told me to go check on Kickstarter, even though I am not a backer myself. I’ve been trying to cancel my order for almost a week now and to this day I can’t. Poor communication and one of the worst customer services on the industry.

Absolutely hands down the worst customer experience I've ever had.
DO NOT fund any kickstarters with these charlatans.
Terrible lack of communication, the only thing they're consistently good at is failing to meet their own self-imposed deadlines for absolutely everything.

I bought it directly from the website after kickstarter. Have been long distance traveling with it and also use it everyday. It holds up great is more spacious than expected and is much better than other similar products.

Best purchase so far and I have many bags…

Love the bag (vegan leather) but handle started peeling after only two months. Offered a $25.00 compensation to get it repaired (I am in Australia) and after more then two months and several emails still waiting. Terrible customer service!

I'd give them ZERO stars if it were possible. Not only were their products 5 months delayed, but their communication was terribly non-existent, the actual products were poor (looked glued together from scraps of material) and their customer service abominable.

Don't buy anything from this business until they can prove they're actually worthy of the ludicrus amounts they charge for items. Shiney photos make a complete mockery of the actual product recieved.

Do not purchase from this company. They will not honor returns and refunds. Read all the reviews….it’s overall poor quality.

Bought in good faith through kickstarter a couple of years ago. Never arrived. Asked my credit card company for a refund (as NO response whatsoever from Montage) and they said the contract never said I would actually get anything (clever wording) and there was nothing they could do. Basically pretty much out and out theft. AVOID

I bought a bag through kickstarter in 2021 with promise of bags in December of 2021. Now it’s 2023 and they are still on kickstarter either not giving people bags or giving people crappy bags and not communicating just like they did to the 2021 customers. It seems like the dog just is always eating their homework. The bags are too expensive to be such low quality and poor customer service. The add ons sucked the most. You can not fit two of the “compression” bags into the main bag. I travel a lot and I’ve yet to use the bag because it doesn’t fit any of the needs I bought it for. I think I got the bag in April or may of 2022. They blocked me on kickstarter for sending so many messages asking for help and updates and stopped responding to me anywhere. Flashy marketing but shady company overall with a low quality product

I ordered it, got a tracking number but the day it was supposed to arrive, I didn't receive it. This is the original email back to me
Jan 18th:"Thank you for reaching us out. As per checking in our system, it seems your order has been stuck and lost in transit. We may have to reship your order immediately. Please confirm details below. And many apologies for the delays."

Jan 25th
"Apologies that its taking so long to arrive, our shipping facility has been dealing with large volumes of reshipments this week. And this is to confirm we have a stock on our warehouse. Rest assured we'll try to ship your backpack within this week."

Feb 2
"That's odd, our shipping facility said that they already shipped your order. If it was indeed missed again, kindly let us know if you still would like to pursue this shipment. Let us know your thoughts. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience we caused."

I am quite unhappy with this bag because it looks quite different compared to how it is shown on their site and in online ads. The worksmanship is poor, with puckering and ruching in the vegan leather, and the zipper is a bright gold color that frankly makes the whole bag look cheap. I tried to initiate a return but was told that because I bought it during their ongoing sale, I was ineligible for a return. I wish I had known that prior to making my purchase. Buyer beware. UPDATE: the company has allowed me to return the item and refunded my money, although I had to cover the cost of return shipping.

This is a total scam. Don’t buy anything from them. Please please don’t buy it. I bought my bag in 9th of July 2022 and still haven’t received ANYTHING, they don’t even answer my emails, I’ve tried contacting them so many times. I just want the freaking bag or my money back

Bag is expensive for the quality. After a month of using it, it was deemed useless as a backpack as the straps kept going through the hole. It started peeling as well. I contact customer support and they offer me $30 to get it fixed myself. For the price of the bag, I would have expected better quality and service.

Bag is cheap, poor quality. Tried to return the product within the 30 day window and the package came back to me because Montage gave me the wrong address. I asked for the correct address and sent it back again for a refund. They kept the bag and never refunded my money. Now I’m out $200 for the bag and $40 for shipping it twice. Horrible customer service from a company who are drop shipping cheap products from China.
