Just had a Montpellier washing machine delivered last Friday and used it over the weekend and so far I am extremely impressed. Only used the 60 min feature, both washes came out clean and the machine is so quiet a couple of times I went to check to make sure it was actually working. Need to go complete the warranty info.

HAVE NOW CANCELLED POLICY AFTER DISCONNECTING PHONE LINE BEFORE GOING TO BED EVERY NIGHT SO WE ARE NOT WOKEN BY THIS CALLOUS AND RUDE COMPANY
Poor warranty service
We bought the condenser dryer in May 2024 and all went smoothly until November when it intermittently turned off. Then it started to over heat and shrink clothes. Using the warranty we requested assistance and after 2 weeks (!) Montpellier sent an engineer who assessed there were no issues! They then sent us a bill for £78 for the pleasure of having an engineer visit.
Replacement cooker.
This was a replacement cooker as the first one had a faulty thermostat. Service was fantastic . Kept me up to date. Very pleased with my new cooker.
A great fridge freezer
A great fridge freezer which fits into the slightly les deep space in our kitchen. Good that it will work down to -15C as we have a second one in the garage. The instructions could be more helpful.

The only problem we have with the Montpellier Fridge/Freezer is that the drain hole is blocked tried unblocking it but to no avail, the catchment drain tray is full of sticky/glue substance, where has that come from.Very hard to clean off, we are thinking of getting another Brand name Fridge/Freezer....

I brought a montpellier MDC600EW electric double oven 2 years ago ,today the heating element has gone for the 3rd time !,I don't use this oven daily so doesn't get used a lot ,the last heating element was put in May last year 8 months ago ! ,luckily I took out an extended warranty on the product, now sending same engineer out ,all I want is a replacement, wish I had never brought the thing ,it wasn't cheap either. 4th heating element just been put into a 3 year old cooker, engineer said I'm just unlucky ðyeah right, the thing is faulty, montpellier customer service is useless they haven't replied to our email ,I said to the engineer when he was leaving see you in about 6 months when the heating element goes again ,don't buy a montpellier product ,mine will be going to the local tip when the warranty runs out.
Impressive build quality ð
Extremely well made cooker which is straightforward to operate and clean. The small oven is handy for cooking/heating up lots of different things without the need to switch on the main oven. Very well priced which puts this superb kitchen appliance in the affordable category for most folk.
Worse oven I have ever had!
We bought a Montpellier single fan oven SFO74B on 2.12.23, in October 2024 the control knobs broke due to a design fault as the flanges that hold the knobs onto the oven are so thin that they are not going to be fit for purpose if the cooker is used as itâs meant to be. No problem I thought itâs less than 12 months old Iâve registered the warranty so I will be covered, much to my consternation when contacting the warranty people I was told that Montpellier have instructed them not to cover the knobs as they are an accessory! After various conversations with the Montpellier customer service I eventually managed to convince them that the oven cannot be used without the control knobs so they agreed to send me replacement knobs. 2 months later after various phone calls and no oven I received the knobs, now a 74 year old female has to get them fitted! Why did I bother as Christmas Day 2024 my oven decided it had done enough when it had cooked my turkey and beef for an hour and a half (half cooked) and just switched off as the thermal coupler had decided it was overworked so again no oven! I decided enough was enough at this stage and the oven has gone to the great scrap metal in the sky and we are going back to hotpoint. I can honestly say I have never had a worse oven and would never buy another Montpellier appliance and my advice to everyone is be very very careful what you buy.

Montpellier Electric Cooker - purchased 2.5 years ago. Rust everywhere - hinges, side panels, edge of hob paint falling off - good news when you are preparing food. Customer service advises that this is as the result of cleaning ! No - it is cheap metal and a poor manufacturing process. This is the worst cooker I have ever purchased. My first Montpellier purchase and very definitely my last. Avoid these cookers

Having had the dryer for a while it didn't seem to dry my clothes as well as my previous dryer or would take at least an hour longer. I decided to contact their customer service - so glad I did. Excellent customer service. I spoke to a lovely lady who went out of her way to find out what might be wrong. Apparently I probably wasn't filling the dryer enough so the sensor wouldn't work properly. She had the loveliest manner and said to contact her again if that didn't fix the issue. It's nice to be able to write such a positive review.

We bought a Montpellier Eco Oven on 13/09/2022. The thermocouple went in April this year, after being messed about being passed around with warranty we was sent to Repair tech. An engineer came out and repaired the oven on the 30th April, the Thermocouple went again less than 6 months later in October. After calling Repair Tech on 22/10/2024 and then having to repeatedly chase them up they eventually told me a month later that they couldn't help due to the warranty ending in Sept. I contacted Montpellier who very rudely told me I can't just go around reporting a faulty oven after the end of the warranty and that it's common for a thermocouple to breakdown, despite the same issue happening less than 6 months prior, i would imagine anyone would expect a thermocouple to last longer than just 6 months and certainly not have the same part break twice in 25 months, and if that is the shelf life you place on your products and you are happy with this than you are obviously a really shoddy company.
After reading reviews online, it's very clear that similar issues and unhelpful responses from Montpellier arrise often, they clearly don't use high quality materials since they're products breakdown alot and then refuse to fix them because they're out of warranty, nd depsite the product being unfit for use and within the 6 years for the consumer rights act 2015.
While emailing Montpellier customer service I asked for the complaints dept contact details and was given an email for some random company director, Mr Chappell who has just ignored my email.
I wouldn't recommend anyone buys a product from this company!

Montpellier electric cooker. Average experience. The grill pan is tiny, the handle is detachable but the plastic handle has melted. Also, the heat from the grill burns the dials to beyond touching. First oven I have had that has done the above. I'm sure the instructions advise how to use the handle z but we have teenagers.surprise that the six reviews on currys promote a brilliant cooking experience..... (and I can't leave my own review)

We bought a MONTPELLIER Retro MAB1353DK Full-size Dishwasher - Black. The first one delivered had the big "Montpellier" badge across the front at an angle. It was replaced by Currys a few days later by one that had a misaligned door. The build quality is truly awful - do not touch with a barge pole!

i wish to inform you of my electric cooker montpellier solid rings 50cm serial No 5137100177 purchased on 11/07/2022 that the solid rings/hobs are rusting i had to get one replaced on the 09/02/2024 also showing signs of rust on the body of the cooker i suggest inferrior metal has been used can you investigate please. thank you Chris
