Misleading, Unknowledgeable, Overpriced, No Stock, No Urgency, No Accountability, Stigmatism, Manipulative Pharmacists push Overpriced Meds, Can't fulfill Prescription, Can't Handle Prescriptions, Unresolved Multiple Complaints over 6 Months, Threaten Discharge after 6 months of neglect in care but use profanity as a response after 6 months 🤣🤣 don't bother joining these

Great Pharmacy
I’m leaving this review for Montu today because I’ve seen a lot of negative comments about delayed orders. This is actually my third order from the pharmacy this month, and everything has always arrived on time until yesterday.
I called and spoke with a lovely chap who explained that the delay was down to Royal Mail, not Montu. To be fair, they dispatched the parcel promptly, but Royal Mail didn’t deliver it on time. He also refunded me the delivery charge as a gesture of goodwill.
I’ve just checked the tracking today and the parcel is now out for delivery. Thank you, Montu, for your help and the consistently quick turnaround on my orders.
Please keep striving for good customer service as it’s much appreciated, thank you

The service is SO SLOW
The service is SO SLOW! It takes like a week from the point of requesting a repeat prescription to the point of even being able to order, let alone being able to receive anything.
They dont deliver on weekends and so if you dont get it by Thursday you will have to wait till Tuesday AT LEAST, to get or anything.
Disappointing considering the shipping costs

Very dishonest phone operators. I had to call many times and kept being put on hold (or told there is no operator available) just trying to get on the phone with a representative. I was guaranteed by multiple operators, over the past 4 days, that they would have my prescription filled and my invoice send by 3:30 on the monday (so I could receive it the next day before i leave the country for a week).
I was told if I don't have an invoice by 3:15 to call back. So I called at 3pm, spend 10 minutes on hold, before speaking to an Operator, Emily, who told me that every other person I had spoken to so far had given me misinformation and that they would not be filling my script today. I asked why she couldn't ask them to do it now since they are open until 5pm, and it wasn't even 3:30 yet. She just kept saying that she would not do that and repeated many times that her colleagues had "misled" or had given "misinformation ".
So now I will have to be without my medication for a week.
Very dishonest and bad business practice, especially for a Pharmacy that people rely on for their medication.

I have had some difficulty in the past…
I have had some difficulty in the past with the clinic/pharmacy due to increased demand and patients. Despite this though I know the team are working hard to correct issues. Today I spoke to Tom from the Montu Help desk with a few queries and issues. Tom was incredibly patient and professional. He explained to me how the process works between requesting my repeat and dispensing my medication. Tom was able to offer me a great resolution to my issue. I think that Tom should be the example employee you have working at montu. Fair, prompt and diligent were qualities that Tom presented on the call without annoyance or arrogance at my situation. I can now wait for the pharmacy to send me my payment link without worry. Note this five star review is based on my interaction with Tom. This review can be subject to change, if service levels drop below expectations.

Been with them for 6 months now and…
Been with them for 6 months now and cannot fault them. Had a few issues with appointments not being in time for meds running out. So went a few days without.
Im here now as I ran out and made an order at 3.34 and they still could not send it out! I placed the order and then rang through and spoke to a lady within 2 mins and still not been sent out! So now I have to use the Black Market just so im Not with out medication tonight! How this happens i don’t know. 4 mins late and have to wait 48 hours for delivery. Not good! Flower is good and prices are good but the system needs to be better!
Update: maybe they can state a 3pm cut off to patients online but keep the 3.30pm cut off in house so it gives a chance for people to be a few mins late if needed. Especially 4 mins.

I had an issue with my medication running out and was feeling quite stressed, but Emily H from Montu stepped in and completely turned the experience around. She put my mind at ease, walked me through every step clearly, and resolved my issue in rapid time. This experience alone is enough to make me recommend Montu to anyone I speak to in the future. Well what can I say!
Well what can I say, Alternaleaf and Montu have changed my life. Been missing sleep for over a decade due to my ADHD. Not eating properly.
Now im getting the correct treatment, not buying it off the street…all the adverse affects I had from smoking cannabis such as anxiety, supressed apetite, lack of motivation and mood swings….
All gone! By literally cutting out buying off the black market. The product difference is night and day as are the benefits you get from it.
My anxiety lifted instantly after trying Pinapple God, no red eye, great high chilled sensation, still boxing for 10 round after using it, eating well…
Honestly its a shame we cant just get everyone off the black market stuff and onto regulated properly grown medical cannabis. Because the black market stuff is literally ruining lives.
Thanks for prescribing me with awesome products thats enabled me to have somewhat of a normal life with my conditions.
Least of all I wont be arrested for self medicating anymore!

Medication is never in stock and recently they have ramped up the prices with no warnings, my prescription has gone from £320 to £409 in the space of a month and it’s unacceptable. Pretend to be helping and care about people’s health but it’s all about profit.

Took my money then requested royal mail to return my perscription to them. 480 pound out of pocket and no medication nearly 2 weeks on. They don't care aslong as they are making money. You will be getting treated like you don't matter as soon as you have paid them

I have used Montu for around a year and its getting worse not better…
I have used Montu for around a year with constant frustrations. I really want to like them but issues seem to be getting worse not better.
Their staff are genuinely lovely (honestly they are really polite, sweet, helpful, and honest) IF you can get hold of them. In addition to the difficulty getting hold of anyone its a lottery when your prescription will be approved.
Stock not available repeatedly with poor alternatives if any.
Overall, a poor level of communication. Given the constant issues with Montu i am surprised i was not contacted to resolve the issues by the owners. It is likely due to the number of issues i have experienced and this being a constant feature (other reviews also seem to suggest this)
It appears this is very much a part time venture for the Montu / owners as you can rarely get hold of anyone to speak to in normal hours. The constant lottery on stock and when you actually receive your prescriptions makes it a rocky ride. There must be better alternatives out there........worth a google as some companies have now removed prescription costs etc to attract new customers

Speedy service made sure I got my medication for my holiday
Don’t usually have problems with montu. Yeah it usually takes a couple days for them to get the prescription but I don’t think it is due to lazyness or inadequate staff I just think sometimes things take a few days. Anyway. I go away very soon and my prescription crosses over while I’m away. Thanks to alternaleaf they got my quarterly review booked in a few weeks early. Got my prescription wrote out Friday and was told to ring montu Monday and just let them know I need the script before Thursday as that’s when I go away. Spoke to a lovely bloke at montu Monday morning and advised him of the situation. He assured me he would do his best to get things sorted before Thursday. Anyway. 4 hours later I get an email saying my script is ready for payment. Absolutely fantastic customer service from start to finish from montu nd alternaleaf. Big thank you to all staff there. Been with them for 6 months and only one hiccup but was sorted by the montu staff in a day and was even packaged and sent for next day at 4oclock. Speak to the people on the phone like they’re actual people and not robots and I’m sure they will be really helpful!

Still No Resolution – Complaint Escalated to the MHRA
This is my second review, and I’m devastated to say that nothing has improved – in fact, it’s only got worse.
After being ignored completely following my first review, I’ve sent multiple emails, raised formal complaints, and spent hours trying to reach someone – including being on hold for 42 minutes with no answer. Montu finally claimed a replacement was sent yesterday – but yet again, nothing has arrived. No tracking, no update, no proof… just more hollow words.
This goes far beyond poor service. It shows a total lack of integrity. A complete absence of accountability. I’ve been left without the product I paid for, with no refund, and no faith that anyone at Montu actually cares.
I have now reported Montu to the MHRA – because this isn’t just inconvenient. It’s morally wrong.
As a first-time customer, I expected at least basic honesty. Instead, I’ve been met with indifference, neglect, and deception. I feel completely exhausted, powerless, and let down.
If you value your time, money, or peace of mind, stay far away.

I believe Montu UK is a good pharmacy for its extensive catalogue, competitive prices, and on average, next day delivery at no extra cost for the first order of every month.
While I'm not a fan of the new client portal for appointments and to access our profiles, the customer experience remains in high regard and customer support when needed (though a slight mixed bag) has been informative, friendly and supportive of prescription issues, with some staff more amicable than others. One instance, support didn't respond to a request for three days, with a phone call. In another, my issue was resolved right on the phone and my prescription at the door the next afternoon.
Overall, Montu is a reliable pharmacy, certainly worth a shot for those in need of a dependable provider.
