I had my Omega serviced by Mornington (Chris Jarvis), and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the level of professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail was outstanding.

Took in my current watch collection for assessment and to have a watch band resized. Lovely shop and warm welcome. Owner is personable and knowledgeable, offering excellent prices for servicing and repairs as well as some stunning timepieces for sale. A valuable asset to Uckfield.

I have had my Omega Speedmaster serviced by Chris after 20 years dependable service. Superb job at a sensible price. Very happy with his workmanship, care and attention to detail, so left him with my fathers Rolex for a service too.

Mornington had the watch I was looking for and if I remember correctly, the watch was serviced with some new components making it a finer piece than just a vintage watch sold on eBay by some random seller. I was surprised by extra fees associated with export fees, etc... I wish the price included all fees. It may make the watch seem more expensive (because it is...haha), but transparency is important to me. I bought the watch anyway because I wanted it for my son because it was manufactured in the year he was born. It will be a gift for him this coming March. Others should consider buying a vintage watch from the birth year of someone they love. My son is a developing watch collector and will love it.

Update: My watch was received, and it was well packaged and in fine condition. Communication was very good. After reading the company response to my review I am raising my review from 4 stars to 5 stars.

I ordered a replacement battery along with a gasket for the case back of a thirty year old TAG Heuer. Both worked perfectly. In fact, somewhere along the line while having my Heuer serviced by local jewelers, they placed a tall battery in it. Fortunately, Mornington Watches knew the correct size. Now it's back to it's original design. Thank you so much!
