Tom Evans is a great adviser - no fuss and straight forward

Equity Release, was never a consideration, (historic negative press), but as a widow and a pensioner, retiring from my own business was not possible as I was tied to a commercial mortgage.
I read an article and suddenly there was a way to forward. I found Equity Release Partnership, and Richard Wylder.
My affairs were complex, but Richard never gave up. I was able to phone and email, and found not just a professional at the end of the phone but a friend. From finding the right product, through to a valuation, to appointing a solicitor, he shouldered all the stress.
Financially Equity Release Partnership did not charge a penny, unlike other companies.
With Richards support, in my 70's I can finally retire from my business, and not worry about rising interest rates. Yes, there is cumulative interest, which can be reduced, by personal choice. Converting some of the bricks and mortar into cash has taken away the stress of rising costs, and reduced my eventual inheritance tax.
My one regret was not taking out equity release sooner, but the journey with Richard was positive and should I sell my property, he will be there to support me to port the product. Thank you Richard.

Well almost £2500 extra is it fair???

We recently concluded an Equity Release Mortgage arrangement with funding provided by More2Life. This activity was arranged and hosted by Equity Release & Mortgage Partnership; Richard Wylder CeMAP, CeRER was our contact there. An excellent communicator, Richard handled the process very professionally from the outset and was first class in keeping us aware of progress at every stage, so we were never left wondering about 'what happens next'. From our experience we would not hesitate to recommend the Partnership and Richard in particular, should you be considering Equity Release options. What is crucial in these matters is for the customer to feel valued in the process and have trust in the organisation that would handle such an important transaction and for us, the Equity Release & Mortgage Partnership ticked all the boxes. All fees were clearly explained, were very fair & reasonable and indeed we were delighted there was no broker fee charged on the transaction. A very satisfied customer!

Richard Wylder of Equity Release and Mortgage Partnership provided a first rate service from the outset. Unlike most equity release advisers, Richard Wylder does not charge a broker fee. Three previous companies I had liaised with wanted to charge up to £1,800 for their advice, much of which was information readily available online and for the presentation of what seemed to me like AI generated summaries of consultations.
Richard Wylder listened carefully to my initial enquiry, and found an appropriate lender with a scheme which matched my requests exactly. Unlike the schemes offered by the three other brokers, the one I have was not changed at the last moment by either a decrease in the total equity offered or by an unwanted increase in the initial drawdown amount.
