We really could not have asked for a more professional, supportive service from this company! We had a horrendous experience with another company. We turned to Simon at Mortgage Squared who immediately dropped everything to help us, he so did that, he placed us with Barry who immediately stepped in and got the ball rolling. What was taking months from previous company, took 2 weeks from start to finish with an offer from lender! We cannot thank these guys enough, they support you from start to finish, keep you updated daily, and they work to give you the best deal and get it right for you. We have already recommended these guys to others and we recommend them to you, you will not regret it, they are the best around. But the best bit about the process was Barry our mortgage broker.

I cannot recommend Barry enough! After being turned down by a previous company I turned to Mortgage Squared to see if they could help being specialists in helping serving personnel. I was not disappointed! From the first phone call with Barry he was sure he could help me and kept me updated constantly on what was happening. He even went out his way to ring me late at night due to my long work hours. I used Mortgage Squared to help me secure a mortgage as a first time buyer. From the start they were extremely helpful. Simon outlined how they could help on an initial phone call before referring me to one of his advisers, Kerry. Their online portal allowed me to upload all of the necessary documents at my leisure and that was about the extent of the work my side. Kerry was extremely helpful, explaining stuff over lengthy phone calls and replying to emails at all hours. She gave me multiple offers which suited my needs and explained them all on detail. Given a recent change in pricing, I was initially verbally quoted the previous slightly lower price by Simon, before the price rose when I came to actually apply. They honoured the original price with no questions asked which they didn’t have to do. Overall, a great help and I highly recommend their services.

Absolutely and utterly shocking.

I have given this firm more than enough chances of sorting a mortgage for us. Unbelievable. I could cry just writing this. We will now become homeless as a result of the complete cluster.
We have been at the mercy of this company’s OVER PROMISING AND UNDER DELIVERING. Passed from one person to another to another each time promising to make it happen. Of course, if Simon would have just had the integrity to admit that they couldn’t take on a simple transaction then we wouldn’t have to move out. Instead Mortgage Squared (military ethics? my behind !!) have failed at every opportunity. The more they promise the more time is wasted TRUSTING in them and the so called progress they or their associates OPENWORK have made. Another broker would’ve ‘squared it away’ in half the time and my daughter wouldn’t be crying every night because we’re losing our home! Literally at their mercy. Their office manager seems really lovely and human but totally powerless to instigate useful change. They’ve messed up all along. We are literally no further down the line 3 whole months on. Even though their latest numb nuts has promised me that the mortgage company have been in contact with the owner to make final arrangements. Simply lies. We’ve checked! No contact to the owner and the bank have no record whatsoever of anything.
I am so so disappointed and I’ll be happy to share my experience with the military world.

I approached Simon due to his high profile social media presence.

After an initial discussion I was more than happy to use him but since then, the level of customer service has being shocking.

I appreciate that this is a very busy time for mortgage advisors and could understand it when Simon passed me over to another mortgage advisor within his stable.

Verbal and email promises of action were not carried out and there was no response to follow up queries. I'm just glad my need wasn't pressing otherwise I'd have missed out on my property.

I reluctantly would not recommend Mortgage Squared to anyone.

Simon has once again done his magic securing us a better rate on our mortgage. Simon has been brilliant in making us aware of our offer ending and doing the leg work to secure the better rate. Even giving me dental reminders to complete the simple paperwork when it had slipped my mind but without being pushy.
100% recommended and will be sure to use again in any future mortgage requirements

Highly recommended this company! If you really need a mortgage expert, please speak to them! My case was difficult and complicated and after been turned away elsewhere I thought I wouldn’t be able to get a mortgage.
