Staff friendly and knowledgeable helping me buy my first EV. Prices are bang on

An easy handover , no hard sell
However valet of the car wasn’t good

Found the exact car I was looking for

We were left to look round at our leisure but when we needed help Finn was around to organise a test drive and then was joined by George to complete the sale.
All round efficient and friendly service

We ordered a car from the Sheffield branch and arranged to collect from Oldbury. First off the price promise is literally impossible. They create so many hurdles that you literally have no chance of a “like-for-like”. I’d found a car that matched everything on their T&C’s online. They then “added” battery health within 2%. (Not on T&C’s) They then refused to honour the guarantee due to the other dealers not providing the battery health.

Picked the car up from Oldbury. Car looks and drives amazing but when we got home noticed the front tyres tread looking low. Mentioned to Sheffield and was told to chat with Oldbury. Their “cut off” is 3mm. They say the tyres are at 4mm. Local tyre shop say 3mm. All 4 tyres are on the MOT advisory. They replaced the rear but not front. No offer of tyre replacement given.

They are great at selling but then their after sales are shocking. We won’t be buying again from Motorpoint.

After the receiving the reply below we are shocked at the disregard of the problems we have experienced. NO WHERE does it say on the terms and conditions for EV price promise the battery has to be 90%.

Kacia, was amazing and friendly. She was knowledgeable asked us questions to figure out what was a need and what was a want. I would recommend motorpoint to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

What a pleasant experience!
This was my first time at Motorpoint and I must say I was very impressed with the service.
I saw a Ford Puma I liked online, and arranged a test drive. I was given plenty of time to look around the car , with no pushy salesman pressure! I decided it was for me, and collected it the following week.
The sale was flawless and Finn was a joy to deal with. He was very polite, most helpful, and a credit to the company!
I’m delighted with my new car and will definitely recommend Motorpoint Sheffield.

Surprisingly easy part exchange and purchase of new vehicle, all done on the same day after booking an appointment for a test drive, they even gave me a part exchange price on my old car over the phone, subject to an inspection and test drive of my own car. All happened flawlessly on the day all electronic these days. Went home with a new car, had a little issue but was booked into a more local Motorpoint Branch for inspection and assessment and was rebooked in after parts arrived by them phoning me that parts had arrived and the issue was fixed without any issues. Great service, i did have the extended warranty and was surprised to find it also gives me breakdown cover too for the full length of the extended warranty. Thank you and would recommend without hesitation.

James was very accommodating. Let us look and try different cars even though we didn't commit to buying at first. We went back 2 days later and again James was very helpful with everything we asked. Definitely 10/10 service

The whole experience was good very straight forward,but on arriving back home the car has developed a fault which hopefully would be sorted out other than that everything great.

We were able to look around the cars without being bothered by sales people. When we decided we wanted to look at a car James was very helpful and I could immediately take it for a test drive.

Excellent vehicles, excellent prices, excellent service, excellent staff. No pressure at all. A great way to buy a car.

Was expecting the typical "car salesman" experience and was very pleasantly surprised as I would have walked away.

Buying a new car was done in a very pleasant and effective manner.

George was excellent throughout our buying process. Good communication and helpful in settling odour eventual choice. The only downside was that we made two requests on pricing. His boss said no to both. But then they asked us to pay before the end of the month to boost their figures. So no give and take, just.........

The original lady we saw was great, super helpful and patient. Unfortunately she was not working the day we picked up the car.
Felt a little pressured to buy the car quickly so that it showed on that months sales figures.
When collecting the car we were not shown any of the features but instead told to look at U-Tube etc.
Also when going into an MG dealer I was told that every new MG comes with AA as long at it is dealer serviced. The car we purchased has not yet had its first service, we were not given any paperwork for the AA.

A great salesman Logan made the process very easy to buy the car we wanted. A good price and a fair part exchange made it a good deal.
