We enjoyed the trip very much. All of the lodges were very comfortable and beautiful. The hikes were challenging for us (not super fit) but do-able. Henry, our guide, was so patient and eager to share his country and knowledge. We ate well and had clean, comfortable places to sleep.

Carlos has been great at helping us rebook our trip in light of the Corona virus.

We were able to delay our trip plans due to the corona pandemic with no problems. Very grateful for this.

Everything was perfect.
From the pickup to the lodge to the guides (Gilbert was so helpful and knowledgeable), everything was above and beyond what I’d expected. This was a “treat” as I travelled throughout South America (a little pricey compared to my other expeditions), but I’d strongly recommend Mountain Lodges of Peru to anyone visiting Peru.

What a trip! All of the lodges were spectacular and the hikes/views were truly out of this world. Great guides and lodge staff as well. I highly recommend this trip.

Wonderful lodges & food, and Fernando & Saul are terrific guides! After the original Salkantay trek itinerary was impacted by the landslide, the revised itinerary was well designed and executed.

Very good tour company, looked after the group and made allowance for different fitness level within the group. I would highly recommend this tour for any one wanting and easer option with the comforts of home each night.

The tragic avalanche on Mt Salkantay meant MLP had to devise an alternate program. What they prepared was fantastic and the service we received, particularly from Fernando and Saul, was outstanding. They have a tough year ahead but are worth all the support they can be given.

My wife and the Andrea Tello, our CSR planned the entire trip, i would have never believed traveling in Peru could be so easy. From the connections, Airport, hotel and hiking, seamless! The advice and recommendations we spot on. Our Guides Helen Anci and Gilbert were clearly knowledgeable and well educated in the history of the Quechuan ancestry. From Lima, (sea level) to the high altitude and snowy mountain passes on the Incha Trail and sacred valley. We were also very pleased with the community relationship Mountain Lodges of Peru has with the villages thru-out the sacred valley. We love MLP!

Our contact person seems friendly and polite and knowledgeable. The email response to our questions have been timely and informative.The web site is user friendly .
The company has allowed us to rebook due to COVID 19 within 14 months at no extra charge . I think this is very fair.

The Best Vacation Ever! Every detail of our trip was taken care of and we could totally relax and enjoy! The lodges, food, itinerary and of course the guides (Helen and Gilbert) were absolutely top-notch! Our driver Roberto and our Customer Service specialist in the US, Andrea rounded out the wonderful group. Can’t recommend Mountain Lodges of Peru enough... THANK YOU for truly the experience of a lifetime.

The lodges and staff were great. My only complaint was in amount/distances of hikes. I feel that the what was originally "sold" to us was different than the areas we hiked or distances
I was most disappointed about the last day when I thought we would be able to hike into Machu Picchu via the Sun gate and not take the train all the way in. Literature stated this would be an option which our travel agent stated we wanted to do.It was never arranged and we did not realize we were not doing it until the day before.
We wanted then hike on the AM ourselves up to the entrance but were told it was too hard for us.I feel options were not provided and tailored to the less active list. I would use them again but plan with them specifically vs. going through US travel agent to Peru travel agent to Mountain lodges. Too many areas for lack of communication

Always very helpful and timely with their responses. We are looking forward to our adventure.
