Just an honest and good service

My first car service since moving to Aus. Was easy to book, simple process, with no issues and at a decent price. Staff we're friendly and easy to deal with. Cheers.

The team at My Car Coburg are very honest and reliable. They were straight forward with me about my car which needed a lot of work and was going to be very expensive and worth more than the car itself. They gave me a realistic recommendation which was a temporary fix to get me through until I am ready to buy a new car. In the end they quoted me $89 for looking at it and refilling the clutch fluid and when we picked it up they didn't charge me at all. Will definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a mechanic.

Exceptional service !! I have been going their for past 2years. Team is very professional & experienced. Highly recommended to everyone.

I dropped my car off at 8am with an expected pick up time of 10:30am. I phoned the shop at 2:30pm asking for an update, to which they stated that they were inspecting the car at that time. at 4:45pm I phone the shop again and they did not answer the phone. I called again, and when they answered I asked for an update and they said the car was ready. I then walked to pick the car up and only when I reached the shop did I get the text message the car was ready.
When I walked into the shop there were 3 men looking at the computer and none of them greeted me. After a few minutes they dispersed and a gentlemen acknowledged me. He provided me my receipt and key and said it was all good - however I could see some notes on my invoice about transmission slipping and timing chain cracking, so I had to ask what this meant. He then stated he would get the paper work and gave me a very brief overview of the issues. I had to continue to ask for more information and request a quote for the items specified. This was a 20 minute process. At the end he apologised for the car taking so long, citing computer problems that day. I had booked the car in for 8am in order for it to be ready in time to pick my partner up from work which ultimately didn't happen and we had to pay for an uber for her to get home.
