Having had insurance for a number of years with this broker, I was told without any explanation that they did not wish to renew. We had never claimed and despite my questioning I was met with a blank wall. Disgusted I’ve been treated this way. I can only imagine how a claim would have been dealt with

Having given them all the details, before they'd give me a quote for my Isle of Wight holiday home insurance they wanted some photos. As it happens I was going to IoW the following week so I took one of the bathroom, one of the kitchen and one of the lounge, and one of the front of the bungalow. Sent them off by email when I got back, only for them to ask for a second one of the outside! I've never been asked for photos by a company before, and certainly not that many. Had to put it in the "too hard" box and go elsewhere. No idea what the quote would have been.

These people claim to be specialists but don’t advise you of what you’re actually getting !!! Please make sure you research what you need as these guys will not explain what your getting for your money.

Customer services not willing to reduce/ waiver administration fee to keep my custom.

I emailed them to request contact me by email due to working in a call centre, had constant sales calls/ voicemails not showing any awareness of notes on file.

Not a good customer experience

The service has been first class and i must say the customer service agent was brilliant, renewed my holiday home insurance and agreed the cost, however before the insurance became active we bought a new van and unfortunately they cant insure both vans at the same time, so we got a full refund on the old van with free cover till the new van is finally installed, and a surprise that even though there was 25k more value it was less expensive for the new van,

Very happy to take your money but not so keen to refund you. Had to make several phone calls and emails to get a refund a month later.
It also looks like the refund amount is incorrect according to their T&C, cant be bothered to argue it with them. Very poor communication and after making me wait near on a month for the refund they charged me a cancelation fee £10, nice.
Thank goodness I never had to make a claim I dread to think how long they would keep you waiting............
