They offer 14 day free trial, but if you want to cancel, you need to call a number "not international, it's in Australia, not sure as it's not specific" and explain why. This most likely will cost yo... もっと見る

MYOB are stopping support of their (perfectly fine) Desktop Payroll software so we are attempting to move to their Online software. Nightmare!
I am on day 5 of dealing with their 'support' people to try and get the new software to reflect leave & holiday totals from our existing software. Nothing can be exported/ imported so everything has to be done manually.
Support emails are taking up to 8 hours for a response and seem to come out of business hours, adding to the delays. Frustrating!
We only went with MYOB for our business accounting software because our accountant initially thought it would be a good idea BUT it has been the worst experience. Possibly the worst software and service I have ever had the misfortune to use. I'm annoyed we stuck with it for so long and paid them so much $. Now in the process of switching to Xero and it is so much better! If you are looking at accounting software, avoid myob at all costs!
Absolute junk software, have used it every day for the past 8 years and it has progressively got worse. Not to mention the ongoing issues they have not fixed for nearly a decade. Couldn't even add my accountant easily without contacting MYOB, waiting 3 days for a reply and even then the guy was full of it. Accountant had to get their MYOB case manager to sort it. That's before I mention that you can't sign in without a 2 factor text code.. great huh.. except when they don't send through the code and you muck around for ages even trying to log in. Great use of your time! Would not recommend this piece of junk software to anyone.
MYOB is the most reprehensible rent seeking company in Australia. THey want 1.8% surcharge paid to them on all invoices. It costs them no difference to process a $5 invoice than it does a $5000 invoice. This is rent seeking pure and simple by KKR their **** Overlords. every.single.time

MYOB took away my ability to email invoices to clients because I would not share personal and company information beyond what banks want to open bank accounts and beyond what the ATO asks for verification. I was told if I did not provide the information my invoices would not have a "verified" tick when they are sent but that would be it. Now I've lost the functionality. I use MYOB in 3 companies am look looking to change.
Being a Chartered Accountant of 30 years, MYOB has to be the MOST FRUSTRATING of all bookkeeping applications that I have ever used. The number of times that I have to login to access a company database is just mindboggling. To make it really bad, it is a two factor authentication (TFA) process. Here is an example of how the MYOB process is frustrating, and unnecessarily ineffective, slow and repetitive for a so-called online system.
I try to login with username, password and TFA to be greeted with "Your database needs to be updated. Would you like to update now or later." I click "Later" and the login process terminates! Clearly, there was NO "later" option!!!
I then start the login process again with username, password and TFA to be greeted with the same message. I click "Update now", and MYOB asks "Would you like to terminate users and start the update". I click "Yes" and the login process terminates again!
I start the login process for the third time with username, password and TFA to finally get in.
This happens EVERY SINGLE MONTH !!! for what MYOB calls an online system. If it is truly ONLINE, all updates would occur at their server end/in the cloud. Why does the login process even asks the question???
And to make things worse with their ridiculous login process...your username and password is NOT able to be saved using your desktop/Windows functionality. It is as though you are trying to get into Fort Knox every single time!!! You have to literally type in your username (being your entire email address) and your password and then go to your Inbox to retrieve their continually refreshed TFA code.
Basic functionality of MYOB once you finally login is acceptable, nothing special, nothing especially efficient or outstanding when compared to other competitive products. I do not recommend this to any client.
What a complete joke of a software. MYOB Solo looked like a good deal at $12 for 12 months, so I gave it a go. Big mistake. I’ve used Bookipi and QuickBooks before with zero issues making simple timesheets and invoices — this was a disaster from the start. The Solo plan is basically useless and doesn’t even support a web browser. So I upgraded to the next plan, hoping it would be better — nope, same garbage. Couldn’t even create a basic timesheet. Support was no help at all — I rang to cancel my plan immediately after wasting 2 hrs trying to figure it out myself, Then, later that day, they had the nerve to invoiced me for both Solo and Lite. It honestly feels like a scam. This software is an absolute mess, and I regret wasting my time on it. Never thought I’d bother leaving a review, but this trash fire of a product deserves the warning. Stay far away. Feels like such a scam when the product is so poor
Emailing invoices was taken away from me because I wasn't prepared to supply myob with personal info, more than MYgov ID even asks for so I am stuck with having to save to pdf which was available in version 18 but now in 25 its taken away????? I don't want to set up "secure payments", I just want to send an invoice using my contacts within the app! Secure invoicing has been around for a long time and there is no need for this level or data gathering.
MYOB have removed a key feature of emailing invoices and are holding it as hostage, demanding users adopt and verify for a separate, chargeable service of online payments (1.8% of invoice value + .25 per transaction). They are saying it is a service update, but it feels more like a blackmail tactic – comply with our new demands and potentially expose yourself to new fees or lose functionality you already paid for.
I have been with MYOB for well over 30 years and I can honestly say that they are getting worse and worse with customer service, if indeed you can ever get anyone to call or talk to you. A month ago, I started getting a message that MYOB had to verify my account and that if I didn't do this, our MYOB account functionality would be restricted. I submitted documents that i thought they wanted, but we were restricted. It took half a day to eventually speak to someone at MYOB, that asked for a certified copy of my company Trust Deed. I spoke to my accountant and he said it is a scam. But it was not.
I won't go into the details but I told MYOB that they had no right to such private and confidential information. Even my accountant agreed. I kicked up a big argument about it and asked MYOB what they would do to protect my information and the deed, but they would not reply. Instead, they did lift the invoice restrictions.
I thought that was it, but a few days later, the "restriction" message appeared again, even though I had already sent them a copy of our Trust Deed. The same message warned that if we did not send them a copy, our account would be restricted again in 14 days. And guess what, in 14 days, it was restricted.
I went onto the CHAT box and managed to speak to someone called An at MYOB that said they may not have had time to review my documents yet. I was hopping mad! Why would MYOB ask for it withini 14 days, get everything in 14 days, and still restict an account? Clearly they do not have the personnel to handle clients!
MYOB told me that they have to check up and verify clients to make sure they are not doing fraudulent activities. I asked An, "What do you mean, you are asking for this after 25 years?!?" That is really amateur. They clearly ask for unrealistic deadlines that they can't deliver on. She replied that it was like a security check for opening a bank account. To which I replied again, my bank account has been open since August 2004! It's a bit late to check now :)
Totally amateur. I have looked at moving to Xero for a long time and now I know why so many companies are crossing over.
An absolute con job. They trick you into believing they do what you want, but they don't. And then they make it extremely difficult to get support. I just paid for 12 months of service for something that didn't work after 5 minutes.
Seems like a lot of anger towards MYOB has been expressed on their forum and they continue to ignore it. Feedback from reps seems to be the same, “just suck it up buttercup.” ‘Secure invoicing’ that nobody wants or asked for. Also, have a look at the 5 STAR reviews, looks like it’s one MYOB worker pushing/paying for positive reviews about their own individual service. This company is a joke.

MYOB SOLO: This is specifically Myob Solo. It is a new product from Myob specifically for "Solo" businesses with no other support. So they advertise how user friendly it is and it comes with a 12 month $12 starting price tag. Sounds great - just what I need (as a small business startup.
Problem is "somewhere" in the T&C or "smallprint" is hidden that this is i) not a cloud base app and it cannot be shared with your accountant at all!
They do say somewhere that you can share the Reports with your accountant (or with anybody) which stands to reason because they are likely PDF documents which of course can be shared. But Accountant cannot access MYOB SOLO to help us. And of course the $12 is also non refundable so I am about 3 hours and $12 down.
Come on guys - you can do better than that! Anything above that I have wrong - is possible but likely because it's "hidden" in the fine print.
We had a simple question on STP, can myob tell me if we are setup for STP, we had an idiot staff member John saying that they cannot answer this question because i am not the authorised contact, can you see how stupid this is in that I can access all of myob, create pay runs, generate Journals, and yet John will not let me know if we have STP setup, I explained to John the the authorised contact is the owner of the business and how STP is the last thing on his mind, that is why he has authorised me to use myob. Further John is the sole decision maker, there is no supervisor or manager which we can speak to about this, so we have unsupervised low level staff making decisions (how cheap is that) and unheard of. The CEO should take all the blame for this circus. Bad customer service, will not speak to you unless you are the main account holder, so why do they give us access if they will not speak with a user??? That just puzzles me, I have gone through the process of getting permissions from the main user and then myob will not talk to me. Honestly just stay away from MYOP, Quickbooks are great, Xero are great and there is no we need to speak with the account holder to answer question with these two platforms, MYOB is really outdated, Their bank recs are so painful, and it should really be retired, because they have a desktop and a cloud solution and both are different, such as you can do things on the desktop version which you cannot do on the internet version, it really is a mashup, as an example you can hide transactions in the desktop version not in the internet version, it just baffles the brain,
Horrible software, it has terrible customization, its awkward and cumbersome and just difficult to use. The templates suck, everything looks horrendous when converted to a PDF, formatting sucks. I wish my company would change platforms cause its garbage. Hands down the worst software i've used...

Business Insight calculations are wrong, MYOB know, and don’t care!
After checking Item profit margins on MYOB Business Insights, I was about to discipline a staff member for not marking up according to company policy. On checking I found that if I buy an item for $1 and sell it for $2, MYOB Business Insights tells me I’ve made a profit of $0.90 or 45%, clearly, WRONG.
I immediately made multiple approaches to MYOB and finally spoke to the product specialist who acknowledged that it has been wrongly calculating GP’s for a long time. If I wanted the correct result, I should generate a Report and not rely on Business Insights. I suggested that it was unacceptable for an accounting package to knowingly include incorrect calculations, and this should be fixed immediately. He seemed disinterested and said he would forward it as a “suggestion” to the development team. I’ve posted the full details, including an example on their community site and they’ve made no further comment.
The help and follow up I received from Shanika was timely and professional. Thank-you very much.
