My Stories Matter レビュー 

I created a book with my father for his ninetieth birthday because he had many stories he liked to tell friends and family, and I wanted to record them for posterity. The process of making and editing the book was also a way for us to connect regularly, as we don't see each other that often. I started with a collection of essays he had already written over the years and that I had collected in a file, as well as some family photos. The support from the MSM team couldn't have been more helpful; they were there to guide us every step of the way and so enthusiastic about our project. It made a big difference!
The final book is even more beautiful than we expected, and many members of our family have bought a copy. As it is custom printed, it is a bit of an investment, but because of the quality of the content (thanks to my dad) and to the product (thanks to MSM), everyone has been delighted to have this keepsake.

I am so grateful to My Stories Matter for helping me create such a meaningful treasure for my mom. I started with stories my mom had written and added family photos throughout the book to bring those memories to life.
My mom always dreamed of publishing a book, and this gave her the opportunity to see that dream come true. My personal review about my experience with My Stories Matter by Paul Mayer.

As a proud U.S. Army Veteran, I had a story that happened back in 1969 while I was in Vietnam where I was captured by the Vietcong and later escaped to return home to my family, especially my new born daughter who was born two weeks before my capture.

I lived with PTSD for over 50 years as a result of what happened over there and during that time, I shared my story with many of my veteran friends and many of them told me over the years that I needed to write a book about my story.

Not being a writer, I finally found a ghostwriter to interview me and put the story into a manuscript for publishing it.

The book was written to help other veterans like me who suffered PTSD like I went through to help them learn to cope with it like I did.

I had a lot of memories to go on as I was in the Army for eleven and a half years as a Army photographer with many photographs to choose from and stories in my mind.

The My Stories Matter team were so helpful to guide me through the process of creating my book that it was a piece of cake from start to finish.

The best part was when the book was published and arrived at my home and I had it in my hands and could share it with the world and my family.
