While everything could be perfect the first time, it is sometimes more valuable to know how a retailer handles a return or exchange. In this case, Na Hoku was amazing! I didn't feel the pearl earrings I ordered were matched as well as they should, and I wanted them to better match the necklace I bought from Na Hoku. Na Hoku came through, sending photos of two pearl pair options for me to choose from. The earrings came today and I could not be happier :)!!

I ordered the 18K Gold and Silver Mother and 2 Keiki Honu Pendant for my wife for our anniversary. It was a smooth ordering process with quick delivery to Texas. I got it in 3 days and was able to give it to her the next day on our Anniversary. She absolutely loved it and it was a perfect match to a Koa and Abilone bracelet she purchased when we lived in Kailua 10 years ago. Definitely going to be ordering additional pieces in the future.

The jewelry I purchased was not exactly what I expected. I had questions regarding a cuff bracelet advertised as sterling silver. It did not appear to be 100% sterling silver as it was not at all malleable. I contacted customer service via email, and they not quick in their response. I knew that I had 21 days from purchase to return the jewelry. I attempted to call customer service. Several times my call did not go through, and several times it ended abruptly. I finally got through to voicemail. It took someone 4 days to return my call. Therefore, I returned the merchandise via FedEx.

The earrings are beautiful. The backings are extremely tight and difficult to slide onto the posts though. I appreciate them being secure but this is a little too much! Service and delivery were extremely quick and impressive.

I’m not sure which order this is a review for. I had two orders, and the first order was delayed during shipment by the delivery company. Na Hoku shipped the second order free of charge even though the previous delivery was no fault of their own. As always, the pieces ordered were absolutely beautiful. I have purchased several pieces of jewelry from them over the course of the last 20+ years and they always been awesome and wear well with time. I will definitely be ordering from them again. Service, quality, and designs are absolutely wonderful.

I purchased a bracelet for my wife for a surprise special occasion on July 16, 2026. The bracelet arrived by Fed Ex on 7/21/26. After I received the bracelet I made several calls to customer service and left voicemails and requested a call back. I missed one call back and called again with no response. We left for a 2 week Aruba vacation on 7/24/26. I present the bracelet to my wife during a 2 week vacation in Aruba on August 1, 2026. She didn't like the bracelet and want me to return the bracelet for a full refund. We arrived home from Aruba on August 7, 2026 and I sent the bracelet back via Fed Ex for a return on August 8, 2026. The bracelet was received by Na Noku on August 14, 2026. I made 2 more calls to customer service and has received no response. As of today, August 17, I haven't received a response. I am very disappointed with Na Hoku service. I will try again today to call Customer Service.

The piece was exactly as advertised and we are impressed by the quality of the necklace. We would not hestitate to purchase again from Na Hoku.

My wife, daughter and daughter in law all love this store and have bought numerous pieces over the years. We now consider them heirlooms in the family. The designs are beautiful and they get compliments every time they wear them. Thank you.

I love everything about this store. I have been coming back on each visit to Maui. This time it was for the necklace; last time it was for the bracelet. Amazing staff. and I can't wait to see them again in 2027!

My wife and I go to Na Hoku several times a year. It has a very wide selection of jewelry and watches, all reasonably priced. Some items are even priced surprisingly moderately given their quality and designs. We feel very comfortable and trust their quality.
When visiting friends look for gifts and/or keepsakes, we always suggest that they go to Na Hoku. I personally also like the fact that it is a locally owned jewelry store. Their many shops are a testament to the stores, products, management, and staff. Gregg Y.

Been a customer of Na Hoku for many years. Have been in their Ala Moana location several times and have bought my spouse earrings and a bracelet. Great experience and quality product. They actually make a product in Hawaii.

I have been relying on Na Hoku for all my jewelry needs for decades! You don’t typically receive the care, attention to detail, and values that a family business like this represents. I will be purchasing from Na Hoku forever.

They RUINED my engagement plans w no accountability. We bought two engagewmnt rings . The groom ring we received same day. The bride one to be delivered in 16 -18 weeks. one week away fron 18th week they left a not detailed vm when i called they said theu would need much more weeks. my family came from overseas and they refused to refund the groom ring. Also at beginning they did SWITCH AND BAIT. After my fiance presented me the sample ring and i likes it they hijacket the price in $370. We decided to buy it but they RUINED our engagement plans.

I purchased expensive earrings from this company and was assured that the earrings had a lifetime warranty against defects in craftsmanship. I had the earrings for 6 months and noticed that there was a seam separation issue and diligently sent the earrings to Honolulu from Oregon for $25 of which is not reimbursed. The company received the earrings and two months later I received an email stating that I had to pay another $100 + $17.50 (shipping) for repair of the poorly designed earrings.

Some lessons learned here are: This company doesn’t stand by their jewelry and their lifetime warranty is a scam. The craftsmanship of their jewelry is not quality for the price. I found that this company is not BBB accredited. Essentially, I got scammed and there’s not much else I can do except make sure others don’t have to experience buyers remorse.

Next time I’m in Hawaii I’ll buy my expensive jewelry from an accredited business that really does stand by the integrity and craftsmanship of their products.
