Do not buy anything from Namco

We purchased a 27 ft round manhattan pool in September 2020. Was was installed by namco installer precision home enhancements Steve Ragucci in May of 2021. We have had nothing but problems since. After water was delivered we noticed a large crater in the pool bottom. The next spring when we opened the pool there was another crater on the opposite side of the pool exposing the paver holding the upright and making a hole in the liner. After contacting Namco and informing them I was directed to the installer. Steve and his wife came out and said it wasn’t a problem with the install it was a rodent problem. They took no responsibility for the damage and charged me 1500.00 to fix it. We had to fully drain the pool so they could pull the liner, repair/fill in the bottom of the pool and reinstall the liner. The very next summer we had another crater two uprights to the left of the previous one. Now the entire bottom far side has blown out at the seam. The paver holding the upright was washed away along with all the sand that was used under the pool. We had a pool professional with 40 years of experience come out to give us a quote on correcting the problem and he advised that the reason for the liner failure was improper installation. The pool is not level. They did not proper cove the the bottom. The pressure on the seam eventually caused it to separate and fail. When we originally complained about the installer the first year they sent the installer to determine if they were at fault, of course the installer blamed anything else. Who would admit they did a bad job? I will never go to Namco again and I would never recommend them to anyone. Lynne at the corporate office is rude and not helpful at all. When I said this was a problem with install she yelled at me that it was not. If it was an install issue it would have failed the first year. It did fail the first year, and the second and the third and now after the 5th. Side note. Namco no longer uses this installer because of the many many customer complaints.

I went from Boylston to Namco today to…

I went from Boylston to Namco today to buy several items for my hot tub which I purchased there. Unfortunately they no longer allow dogs in the store and it was too hot to leave her in the car. I loved the staff that used to be there and they welcomed my dog but whoever was in the store today was very negative. Left empty handed and will buy my supplies elsewhere from now on.

Great Customer Service in the Midst of Installation Challenges

Despite a few setbacks related to scheduling for and with the installation (not NAMCO's fault), the above ground oval pool NAMCO sold me was installed yesterday. The pool is beautiful, and I appreciate NAMCO extending a 40 percent discount, which allowed me to have a high-quality Atlantis pool to enjoy at a reasonable price. Both Lynne (Customer Service Manager) and Robert (Installation Manager) were attentive and responsive during the course of the various scheduling and installation episodes, and expedited the installation to my satisfaction. They were both very professional, patient, and truly engaged. Kudos to them and NAMCO for coming through for me! - V. Ramos, Hamden CT

ROCKY HILL NAMCO ROCKS!!!!

I went into Namco in Rocky Hill to look for a patio table as I heard they were discontinuing outdoor furniture. A sales associate named Conner came up to me and asked how he could help. After explaining what I was looking for and seeing what was available at Rocky Hill, Conner checked other stores for the table I was looking for (Madrid) and found one in the Southington store. He called the store and had them ring up the table and hold it for me until I could pick it up on Sunday. He also suggested other items that might go with the table. Now THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Far too many stores don't do anything to help you out & forget about going the extra mile! Conner is an example of what customer service SHOULD BE in all stores. I'll be back to Namco again!!!

Liner fell in in the middle of the winter Major mess heavy did not last even one season overpriced I don't know why but I'm very unhappy with this

5 Stars for NAMCO Auburn

We went to the NAMCO Pools in Auburn, MA and Mike and Joe helped us out. We were looking for patio furniture and appreciated how helpful they were in assisting us. They put a lot of effort in to finding what we needed and we are very happy with the selection!

You had what I needed, but the cost of shipping was way too high, and I never received a confirmation email. I was left not sure whether or not my order even went through.

Poor Corporate Customer service and relations!

We are experiencing an issue with the liner (seam separation), the local store we purchased the pool from has been great and helpful. In speaking to Lynn from corporate customer service, who was rude, condescending, and un-appathetic. I am very disheartened with our experience and based on our experience with corporate customer service Lynn will likely refer friends and family to other local pool companies as I would never want another person to ever have an experience like this.

The only reason I gave it a one star is because of the local store (Swansea, MA) manager's and staff's willingness to go above and beyond to try and rectify the situation and make us whole.

No hassle return

At the end of last year's season, I purchased a pool with all the trimmings. This year, as I'm getting everything set up, I discovered there were a lot of town rules about how & where I could position my new gas heater for the pool. It was going to be such a bother that I decided to see if I could just return in & live with a solar cover. Michelle & Destiny in Poughkeepsie couldn't have been more helpful! They were able to accept the return (minus a restocking fee). This was a huge relief & much appreciated. They were great last year when I purchased everything & continue their undeniable customer satisfaction policy.
