Deceitful booking system
Technician was excellent. However National Windscreens has a booking system that is deceitful. It asks you to choose a time for your repair. When you do they then tell you they can't keep this time frame. Their final email tells you they will come anytime between 9 and 5 on the day of your appointment. Not customer friendly hence low score. In fact it's deceitful.

Very prompt repair when I phoned the…
Very prompt repair when I phoned the local office direct. National call handler booked a long way in advance but local office says they can usually do same day for a chip. In the past, after repair I have not been able to see the chip repair, but I can on this one. There is still a dent.
You need to know your way around industrial estate and one way system to get to the workshop.

Great Service
It was easy to book the vehicle in online. Service ( windscreen chip repairs ) was available within 24 hrs.
On arrival, staff were very helpful and service was efficient.Repairs carried out within the hour.

Repair was unsuccessful
Repair was unsuccessful, it left a small thread line and a little chip, although smooth to feel inside and outside. Now the thread line seems to be spreading along with the crack getting bigger. The engineer said he tried 3 times, but I did not observe this as was in the house.

Very happy with the quality of the work…
Very happy with the quality of the work done, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
However, due to their workload, they were unable to start on our car until 11.30am, although I arrived at 9am as requested.
By the time they had finished it was 3.30pm.
I waited while the work was completed, as we live 25 miles away.
So, 6 and a half hours later I was able to leave!
Just as well I had a good book to read!

Used the Hastings branch. Charlie, who came to our home address was polite, courteous and professional, and carried out the work in good time. This review is based on one occasion and one employee, but if it is typical of National Windscreen's work ethic, it is a 5 star performance.

Happy with the work
The job was done in a timely manner the car was clean and you wouldn’t know it had been touched
The parking was a little tight but other than that I really can’t fault them
