What a cowboy company they are .
What a cowboy company they are .! . Booked a replacement windscreen for my car on 20 / 12 / 25 . Booked me in for 29th Dec. . Paid my £200 excess before Xmas. Technician called at 9am on day .told me he had 4 or 5 other bookings before me . Called me around 1.45 to say it would be around 3.30 to 4pm . And did I have flood light and cover .( gets dark after 3pm onwards and cover was for rain or drizzle . ) turned up at 4pm and 1st thing he said .. " can't do as its starting to rain . I said what happens now . Told me I had to try and re book it . What a company . ! . Bunch of cowboys . .auto glass any day .

Charged me for a full windscreen when it could’ve been repaired.
I had a crack no bigger than a £1 coin which I said to the advisor. He said anything bigger than a 5p coin then the wind screen will have to be replaced anyways. The guy came and changed the windscreen. Midway through he said that could’ve probably been repaired that.
So could’ve been a £30 job instead of a brand new windscreen for £250. Rang the guy who organised it and he just said is what it is really, it’d have probably cracked if a repair attempt was made. How does he know ? The repair wasn’t even attempted or looked at by him.
I feel someone should be sent who could potentially repair it then if It can’t be repaired bang in a new windscreen. Update; it actually states on the website that in a zone b area, a repair can be attempted if it is smaller than 4cm. So why did the handler say 5p you need a replacement ? I spoke to the customer relations team and they said despite being told I’ll need a new windscreen I should’ve challenged the call handler and requested a repair technician to be sent out. How was I supposed to know ? The expert told me I’ll need a new windscreen. Again I thought a technician comes out to try to repair and then replace if needed. Do your research before arranging a new windscreen and challenge the experts for a repair.

The windscreen that they replaced was…
The windscreen that they replaced was fine. It was the damaged caused to my vehicle that was the problem. They cut the interior trim to my A pillar and they also broke the clip bracket to my sunvisor. This was then attempted to be repaired by gluing it back onto my roof lining and nothing was said to me, only for it to fall off a few days later.
However, having said this I did complain and the company agreed to repair the damage.

The service from the local branch was excellent, they were very accommodating with my unknown schedule and worked around it. They also had some space earlier and called me to offer this timeslot if i was available.
