Excellent, start to finish!

Excellent, start to finish!
I ordered purely based on the basis of next day delivery and was hoping for the best. I got the best!
The website is easy to navigate, purchasing was straightforward but what really sets the company apart is the quality of both the product and the customer service.
Lee gave me a quick call to check I was able to take delivery and reassure me that he was on hand in the event of any queries, which is a really lovely touch.
My modular corner sofa arrived on time and I could track the delivery slot.
Being modular, I was able to unload the palette on my own (although probably works better with two people) and the sofa was straightforward to assemble.
The quality is brilliant and the sofa is so comfortable! All the cushions and feet fit neatly into the base of the chairs, so it’s ideal for renters as it can be easily packed up for moving.
I’m so impressed and will be ordering one of these for my mum when she’s next looking for a sofa!

Very disappointing experience.

Very disappointing experience.
I ordered a 3-seater sofa and provided my full delivery address when placing the order. On the day of delivery, the drivers refused to deliver the sofa because I live on the third floor and there is no lift. I was later told that I should have informed the company of this when ordering.
The problem is that at no point during the ordering process was I asked whether I lived in a flat, what floor I lived on, or whether there was lift access. The company claims they would never have accepted the order had they known this information, yet they accepted my order, processed my payment, and arranged delivery without asking a single question about access.
To make matters worse, the delivery drivers suggested they could leave the sofa downstairs and that I could carry it upstairs myself. As a single mother, I found this completely unreasonable.
The order was cancelled and £50 was deducted from my refund for a failed delivery, despite the fact that the company never requested the information they now say was essential.
I appreciate the apology for the delivery drivers' behaviour, but overall this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. If access restrictions are so important, customers should be clearly asked about them before an order is accepted.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review and i am sorry you are not happy with how we or the couriers acted throughout your order.

I just want to clarify some points , Firstly you ordered a 3 Seat Sofa bed not a 3 seat sofa , This is important because sofa beds are a lot heavier, Nearly 50kg heavier than a standard sofa which is one of the reasons your delivery failed.

When you inputted your address online it did not come through as a flat, but you were called as all customers are once the order was placed to go through delivery information , I can see we left you a voicemail.

You were then send dispatch emails in which it clarifies how our two man delivery team works and again you did not reach out to us.

As a customer you have a responsibility and had a few opportunities to contact us to advise you were on the 3rd floor and there was no working lift , The couriers we use like all standard two man delivery teams will not take an item to the 3rd floor with no lift weighing 100kg due to health and safety reasons.

We have deducted a cancellation return fee as outlined in our Ts and Cs to cover some of the costs we have incurred on this failed delivery.

I feel we have acted responsibility and like most other online retailers in this situation.

2 seater ‘Constance’ sofas x2

Very pleased with the sofas, good quality, comfortable and fit perfectly with the decor. I chose orange although I would describe the colour as ochre but it’s what I expected as I sent for a sample first which I would definitely recommend!
The customer service team were very helpful and the delivery service was excellent.
Would thoroughly recommend this company.

Efficient and friendly business.

This is the second purchase I have made with this company. They have good products at reasonable prices but it’s their customer service that sets them apart from the ‘big players’ in their market, I phoned up to ask questions about dimensions and spoke to the same person I spoke to in the first purchase. No call centres, no hold queue, something not experienced often these days.

I wanted a new sofa now.

I wanted a new sofa now. The colour was right the price ok,£994.00 the reviews good.
The sofa arrived after a week. The guys brought it in, put it together. Back against the wall. Fine.
First impressions. Quite small. Cheap looking.
I used it for a day. Not comfortable at all. By the end of the day I felt that the seating was staring to sink. Next day I removed removed it from the front room. Into the conservatory.
I Informed the company, I didn't like the sofa.
They said. Ok. It has to be sent back in resaleable condition. And in the same box or similar. And I had to find a courier to take it back. Fortunately I'd kept the box it came in. A bit battered but adquate.
The sofa was sent back four days after receving it.
The courier cost £106.00 .and I only live 40 miles from the depot.
I asked them when I would receive the refund. They said in fourteen days.
On the fourteenth day. No refund.
I e mail the company. Receive an e mail back saying that the sofa is covered in dog hairs and has a strange odour?
The sofa had only been in the house 1 day. And then back in the box.
They send me a picture of some hairs on the black nylon mesh underneath the sofa.
Could have been any sofa. It didn't even look like the box I sent it back in.
They then said as the sofa wasn't in a resaleable condition. They have to deduct the cost price of the item £291.00.( no wonder it looked and felt cheap).
I did offer to pay to have the sofa hoovered. But was given no reply to that.
Anyway the upshot of it all is I lost out on £300 with nothing to show for it.
Things of interest.
Why didn't they charge me the full retail price,as they couldn't sell it again.
When the guys brought it in ,there was a small paint mark on the sofa.
I only noticed it when we moved it out,as it was at the back .
Why was this not spotted when they inspected the sofa.
Things to take away from the experience.
Don't buy a sofa without sitting on it first.
If something is worth having it's worth waiting for.
If your sending an item back take photo's from every angle. And put a smell check on it??

Thanks for taking the time to write a review and i am sorry you are not happy with how we handled your return of your recliner.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear the recliner wasn't comfortable and the return process was difficult.

Please understand it is not in our interest to have to dispose of a recliner due to the condition it was returned in, As we discussed over the phone a recliner covered in pet hair and with a strong odour is not an acceptable way to return an item that is meant to arrive back to us in a resellable condition.

Like most online retailers when this happens and the item has to be disposed of the customer is subject to fees in this case it was the cost price of the item.

The refund was processed within the timescales set out on our website.

If you believe it left your house in perfect condition then maybe you should take this up with the third party courier you used to return the item.

Very smooth for the sending out of material samples to the ordering of the sofa. Very friendly staff and very helpful.

However I would say the 3rd party delivery company need investigation as this lets next day sofas down. Delivery slot changed without prior notification the day before booked delivery. Drivers walked mud and dirt into house. Speaking in foreign language in front of me

Delighted customer

I ordered 2 sofas on Wednesday and was told they would be delivered in 10 days because I live in Scotland. I received text 2 days later to say that they would be delivered the next day. The 2 guys who delivered them were courteous and worked quickly and efficiently. I am delighted with the sofas and would recommend Next Day Sofas. Staff on the phone were also very helpful and answered my questions with courtesy and knowledge of the articles.

Great experience

Stunning sofa and really good price.

Arranging delivery was easy and communication with delivery was also fantastic as they give you a really good time frame so your not waiting around all day.

They also set my sofa up, with no issues and tidied up after themselves.
