Mike and his team have done a number of jobs for us over the years and would total recommend.
For example the last time Mike came was just before Christmas. Our boiler was making a rattling noise and Mike went beyond what he needed to do when he found out the boiler hadn’t been registered so was not under guarantee. Mike got it registered with Worcester Bosch so we didn’t have to pay for repairs when they came out. Always found them reliable and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Really good communication around the service of our boiler. Professional throughout and Mike also recommended an electrician to fix a minor issue.

Mike and his team did a great job fitting a brand new boiler in our house. Communication was great and the team were all super professional. I could tell he was very experienced by the direction and information he was giving to his team. Mike made sure all the TRVs were in the best location, the wooden box panels surrounding the boiler were cut in the most aesthetic way, and ensured that I had full understanding of the controls and boiler app before they left. Very efficient, quality workmanship and £700 cheaper than those clowns at British Gas. I would definitely recommend, and shall certainly be contacting them for any future plumbing issues.

Mike & his team fitted a new boiler for us. The process could not have been smoother from start to finish - quick and detailed quote, with guidance on the best options for us, explaining the pros and cons, arrangements for fitting, arrived on time and by the time they left you wouldn’t know they had been here (save for it was probably cleaner than before they arrived!). Mike took time to fully explain all the settings and controls even after a long day. We have used the team countless times over the years for jobs big and small. We have always been delighted with everything they have done and found the customer service unrivalled. I have no hesitation at all in recommending them.

Deal with this company since 2011, when I bought a house in Whitefield. Everything was smooth and fine. Contacted Mike several months ago to replace radiator and taps in bathroom - total ignorance. Then gave them one week and one more day window to visit - total ignorance again. Then Mike promised to arrange a visit in August - no visit was arranged. Looking for other plumber in the area. Do not recommend this company

Hello I just wanted to leave a review of a really positive job carried out by Northwest plumbing

as we all know it’s so difficult to get tradespeople either to accept a job, do it properly or come back when there is a problem as I had unfortunately discovered

I am disabled and increasingly losing my mobility and strength and this will only deteriorate over time

I needed a shower that was not over the bath as I am unable to lift my legs now to get into the bath to have a shower

I explained this to Mike and he was really understanding and put me in for a job despite being very busy as soon as possible within a couple of days

Brad carried out the work to a really high standard and was very nice and polite I was on my own in the house when he carried out the work and feel quite vulnerable when I am on my own despite having our dogs

Brad put me at ease and carried out the work to a really high standard I’ve just had a hip replacement and I’m due to have a knee replacement in the next couple of weeks my mobility is only going to get worse and the shower with the shower seat has enabled me to retain some independence so I have really appreciated it over the past few weeks

the job was carried out to a really high standard by lovely tradesman and really organised efficiently by Mike and very reasonably priced

In addition, I am confident that if any problems arose, which I doubt, they would come back to fix it

Very friendly and a pleasure to deal with Mike, asked for quote for replacing 3 radiators. Quote received within 48 hours and job completed within the week. Engineer arrived on time and worked continuously until job completed then he cleared up everything. A very professional and friendly company to deal with and good value.

New boiler installation plus annual servicing. Very happy with the service that Mike and his team have been providing to us for the past 7 years. Friendly and professional service with excellent communication and expertise knowledge.

Excellent service from Northwest Plumbing Solutions. We were given clear information and detailed quotes. The whole experience was professional and straightforward. Mike and his team were great to deal with. Would happily use Northwest Plumbing Solutions in the future.

Excellent company - they service our boiler every year and have come out to fix a couple of issues in between and are always prompt, professional and polite. Mike even saved us a fortune fixing up our boiler when another person would have seized the opportunity to flog us a new one. Would highly recommend.

I am over the moon with a significant boiler replacement and system conversion from my 30yr + year old boiler. Much trepidation in searching for the right crew for a job that we knew would be a very much needed but significant piece of work and hefty layout. We wanted an honest, knowledgeable, local tradesman / company, who would quote and are actually hands on be involved in doing the work with aftercare and servicing where needed, instead of a coporate inflated quote that bears no resemblance to the contracted out work - Mike of northwest plumbing solutions fitted the bill perfectly and responded very fast and professionally to our request when our existing boiler finally popped it's cloggs. Brilliant advice to suit what we needed, no pressure tactics, honest transparent quote with clear breakdown of options offered and quick turnaround. Amazing team of lads who were prompt, tidy, and worked a full few 8 - 4 days to get the job down in a timely well prepared manner - Dan and Kevin (aka Kieran) were lovely lads, obviously really well trained at their profession and willing to share their expertise making us more than confident the work was of high standard.

Once again Northwest Plumbing have done an excellent job. Brad was a really friendly and professional fella who replaced our kitchen tap and moved and refitted our waste pipe. All the work we’ve had done has been high quality and efficient with nothing being too much trouble. Would highly recommend this company.

Have been looking for a new plumber for a while after some shoddy work by another local business. Straightforward to book a boiler service, Kieran was friendly, professional and thorough and gave me some good advice on what to consider when deciding what other work I need doing. Really happy and will use again.

Having struggled to get someone to fit a shower cartridge, I finally reached out to Northwest Plumbing. I was delighted that Mike managed to fit us in the same day. Brad turned up on time, and successfully fitted the cartridge. We now have hot water again and it is joyous. I will not hesitate to use Northwest Plumbing again.

NWPS installed my Worcester Bosch boiler about six weeks ago. This combination boiler replaced a range boiler system and involved a lot of complex re-piping. They also installed three new radiators.
I did a lot of research and chose this company because: the owner, Mike Cookney, was obviously an expert in his field, he didn't try to coerce me into having unnecessary gadgets, he was honest in telling me what was possible (even when it was not what I wanted to hear) and he listened respectfully. He was also a good manager. The team of three arrived punctually and worked very hard, in unpleasant conditions, finishing exactly on time. They took the trouble to make piping follow the walls, clipping up and even insulating where I couldn't reach (something they did for free). When they found that my radiator valves were poor, they replaced them free of charge. I have my safety certificate and the system is working well. Thank you

I use Mike for all my rental properties. He has installed new boilers in most of them and carries out any maintenance, servicing and gas safety checks annually. Have known him for over 15 years and wouldn't use anyone else.

Dan came to the rescue and fixed my pipes that were spewing water all over my crawl space. I was so worried about damage and costs but he rebuilt the system to be better and stronger than the original at a cost that did not leave me overwhelmed. Super personable and down to earth guy.
