Great service and the food was delicious. I would be recommending to my gym friends

I was shocked at the way the food was delivered, in a paper bag, with no ice pack to keep the food cool or at a safe temperature. On their website it states, "At Nourish Prep, we are committed to ensuring that your meals are delivered fresh, securely packaged, and on time." "All meals are packed in specialised chilled packaging, designed to maintain optimal temperature and freshness throughout transit. This ensures your meals arrive in perfect condition, ready to enjoy."The food was dry and bland; I only managed to salvage the pasta dishes by making my own sauce and adding my own vegetables, which defeats the purpose of not cooking. I was hoping that this wouldn't have been such a bad experience, as it looked promising on social media, but I guess it's all to make it look good.

Amazing food and a variety available. It tastes very good and it’s clean. I recommend!

Heavy Meals, Made Me Unwell, and Poor Customer Support

I really wanted to like Nourish Prep, but my experience ended up being disappointing both in terms of the meals themselves and the way the situation was handled afterwards.

I ordered their bulking meal plan for two weeks in a row — one order around £77 and the next around £112. The first delivery arrived mid-week, and because their Sunday delivery requires ordering by Friday, I had to place the second order before I’d had enough time to properly try the meals from the first one.

Once I started eating them, I realised very quickly that the meals were far too heavy for me. The beef dishes especially made me feel bloated, uncomfortable, and even affected my sleep. I had stomach issues and felt genuinely unwell after eating them. I still have untouched meals in my fridge because my body simply couldn’t tolerate them.

I contacted the company to explain what was happening and to request a refund, considering most of the food was uneaten due to how it made me feel. Unfortunately, the response was very rigid. They insisted that refunds are only offered for “damaged” meals, not when the meals cause issues or don’t agree with you. They also suggested I reordered the same meals after not liking them — which isn’t true. Their order schedule forced me to place my second order before I knew the meals were going to make me ill.

They publicly replied to my Google review, and I’ve had to add an edit there to correct a few points they presented, just for clarity and fairness. If anyone wants more detail on the exact exchange, it’s in my Google review history.

They also mentioned that only a few of the meals contained beef — but that misses the point. Those were the meals that triggered the issues, and after that I couldn’t continue with the rest of the plan. This wasn’t about “taste”; it was a physical reaction.

For almost £190 spent in two weeks, I expected more understanding and flexibility. Instead, I was offered a small discount on future meals — which isn’t very useful when the food made me feel unwell in the first place.

If you have a sensitive stomach, or prefer lighter and more digestible meals, I’d be cautious. And if something goes wrong, the refund policy is extremely strict, even when the issue is health-related rather than preference.

Ive orderd from all the big guys simmer and everyone and tbh Nourish prep had best quality of food an good options. Especially the steak strips and pasta. Best one 👌

Everything is good

By far the best meal prep company I have ever come across. The meals taste like homemade food, both flavour wise and texture wise. There isn’t any other service that compares. I genuinely look forward to lunch and dinner everyday and even gets me through my office days once I reach lunchtime. The jerk chicken/jollof rice, jerk salmon, lamb biryani, Caribbean lamb curry and bolognese are all my current favourites but the rest of the dishes are also amazing.

I’m so glad they have many dishes so I’m able to rotate my meals around every week so I’m not always getting the same set of meals. Also, they do new recipes like every month or so it seems so it’s good to see they do try to change things up a little but not too much otherwise the quality could go down but that’s my personal experience I’ve seen with other companies. They focus on what’s great, what people enjoy and enhance it where they can.

Any issues I’ve had, I’ve called them or messaged them via WhatsApp and I can’t remember the woman’s name I spoke to once but she was so kind and understanding, I waited a day for her to investigate it and she came back to me and explained everything with a resolution otherwise they’re quite quick to respond on WhatsApp which is amazing.

If I’m not cooking during the week, I get Nourish Prep, the freshness and authentic homemade approach is all I needed. Makes my work weeks so much easier and gives me more time to myself.

All I can say and hope for is that they continue to do exactly what they’re doing and to not overhaul anything massively. The quality, service and the food itself are 10/10, I’d love to see them stay that way as I can see myself ordering their meals forever.

This meal delivery service has been a huge help in supporting my health goals — balancing fat loss and muscle gain with well-portioned, macro-friendly meals. The delivery and ordering system is simple and smooth, and the variety of flavours, textures, and rotating menu keeps things exciting.

The staff are really friendly and happy to walk you through the initial steps if needed, and Chef Alaya has been especially helpful. I actually stumbled upon their pristine, clean kitchen located near our gym — a great find!

There’s room for improvement with clear meal labeling and macros, a slight reduction in salt and oil, and perhaps a few sauce options for the drier rice dishes, as well as the addition of vegetables for a more balanced meal.

Overall, it saves me time, supports my health journey, and fits perfectly into a more productive, balanced lifestyle reduces the need for snacking as generous portion sizes.

Can’t knock it — wishing the team massive success with the business!

I am originally from the Netherlands I came for a two weeks work trip in London, I googled mealpreps in London and glad I came across Nourish Prep. I love that their website is very straightforward and so easy to use (many meal companies in the Netherlands have quite complicated menu choices). Generally I'm not a fan of spicy food so at first I was a bit hesitant, but the one that had a kick was the Cajun pasta and the jerk chicken, which was just so delicious and bearable !! I was glad they didn’t change the menu for those two weeks, but if I stayed there for a bit longer, I would've loved to try more different meals ! See you on the next work trip !

Amazing service and the best meals are delicious makes everything easy

It tastes like hospital food. I was soo disappointed, when I ordered the meals they looked DELICIOUS! I thought wow a meal prep that serves cultures, Caribbean food. From Jollof to Jerk Chicken to Mushroom rigatoni and chicken, I thought yes, I have found my place. But No.

First of all, I received no email confirmation of my order and then it was delivered to the wrong place. Second, it tastes like hospital food. ZEROO salt, NON-EXISTENT flavour.

I could barely finish some meals. And that’s the thing, their portions are VERY generous but FOR WHAT if their not even enjoyable?!!! No seasoning, no nothing. And the meals only last for 3 days 😒. The saddest part is I was relying on these meals for my week- but now I dread meal times because I know I’ve got to put up with another session of putting my tastebuds through punishment. I’d even go as far as saying Gousto is better than NourishPrep in terms of flavour.

The best meal prep I’ve tried so far is Prepped. OMG, the difference between NourishPrep and Prepped is just DISRESPECTFUL. Prepped ensures EVERY SINGLE THING in their meals is BURSTING with flavour! From the meat that tastes like it’s just been taken out the bbq to the seasoned rice to the FLAVOURFUL fresh vegetables. AND the presentation is actually appealing.

NourishPrep is just depression on a plate. Never ordering from them again, I feel catfished. I wish I’d never ordered 7 meals from them urgh.

Have tried many other meal preps and all I can say is that none of them compare. Great portions and amazing flavours! ✨ Other meal preps that I’ve tried tend to taste bland and just not be enjoyable at all but this one is so tasty and I’m very glad that I stumbled across this company. Highly recommend and affordable 🙌🏾

Rice wasn’t cooked well in one of the dishes

I LOVE THESE MEALS!!!! I’ve tried every other halal meal prep company multiple times, and finally have found one this good. The meals taste so good and feels like a real delicious home cooked meal. My 10 year old son who is very hard to feed even enjoys these meals too. So I’m praying this company never stops! Thank you so much!!

Great meals, great service

I am very new to the meal prep market and prior to Nourishprep I was ordering from Simmer.
Nourishpreps meal exceeded expectations, their meals are so delicious I was actually surprised how flavoursome it is and the variety isn't bad at all.
The way they present their food is really good too and the order method and the delivery is seamless.
The price isn't too bad either for what they serve.
I will 100% recommend them and from one time order I have become their subscriber now.
I would like to see more red meat options as they have a lot more chicken options but that is due to my personal preference.
