I can’t recommend William Shillingford highly enough. From start to finish, William was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making the whole mortgage process as smooth and stress-free as possible. He took the time to clearly explain every step, answered all my questions with patience, and always made me feel confident that I was in safe hands.

We have been working with Lauren for over a year now having taken the leap of faith to use a financial advisor to plan for our imminent retirements and our financial future.
We have no regrets. From the outset, Lauren talked us through our options in a clear yet simple way using the excellent Timeline tool and other charts and graphs that were nicely set out and easy to understand. Since we have been with Nova we are now relaxed having a clear long term strategy and the products Nova have introduced us to have given us good returns.
We have gone from trepidation and confusion about retirement and issues such as tax and inheritance to a state of relaxation, understanding and buy in as to how Nova can take us on the journey through the future in the most financially beneficial way for us and ensuring we don't run out of money. They have helped us prepare conservatively for issues such as large one off spends in the future to long term care when we are older.
Lauren has been a delight in all of this and so easy to deal with and talk to with Amy behind the scenes processing and running the ship very ably.
We would have no compunction in recommending Nova to anyone who needs help and clarity about their futures.

With a number of pensions schemes and an incoherent approach to investment, we required support to develop a strategy to maximise our financial position for our retirement years. After a number of unfruitful and unconvincing conversations with other financial advisors, in stepped Lauren from Nova Wealth.

Nova offer no nonsense, easy to use and comprehensive planning and financial management service. Working with Lauren and the Nova team, we undertook a review of our existing portfolio, our risk appetite and an explanation of Nova’s investment approach; using indexed funds rather than paying for managed funds. With this information Lauren was able to provide a joint financial plan that maximised our investing and pensions, is tax efficient and is ready to accommodate life events.

We are now very much in the staying on track phase of our plan. The service thus far has been excellent. Lauren and the team have been very responsive to our needs through the year; especially when we required specialist advice for a work place pension. We are confident that we will be able to enjoy our retirement years rather than just survive.

The team and especially my contact (Joe) go out of their way to be proactive. They are always super responsive if I have any 'out of the ordinary' questions I'm needing answering and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I switched from another provider and it was without doubt a very good decision. I just wish I'd done so earlier.

I must admit I did have some hesitation using a FA after looking after my own funds for years. However, after contacting and working with Nova, Joe Checkley I have to say it has been very easy to form a relationship with Joe he took time to understand our needs and wants and ultimately gave me the assurance that I could retire earlier than planned. Now spending time with my wife and doing what I want to do.
Joe is always on hand to answer questions and point us in the right direction but he alternatively listen to you. It's a relationship not a dictatorship

The information Nova produces is comprehensive but user friendly. Yes you have to pay for the service but so far the advice given has made up for it. The pricing is upfront and transparent so no surprises

I started working with Joe just over 12 months ago and I have gone from having no plan to being comfortable that I will be able to look after my family in the future. The service Nova offer is very professional but more importantly for me its simple and delivered in an easy to understand way by people who speak the same language. We've just completed our first 12 months with Nova, and they are doing very well by producing a coherent plan that we can both believe in.
It is good that they seek to generate sufficient return to enable the plan using the minimum possible risk, using best practice investment techniques backed by research. They also help us highlight how we use money and ensure we can plan for any large expenditure well.
I haven't tried the app yet because I don't want my investments linked to my phone, but the web portal is pretty useful.

It was really useful to be able to re-mortgage online with Will in video calls. I don't have time to do the research and talking to HSBC is a nightmare Will made it effortless and explored all the avenues for me so I could make the choice that I wanted. I now have peace of mind, otherwise this could have taken me days to sort out and a trip to Birmingham.
