We ordered an Artichoke pendel. we recieced it in 1000 pieces an had to do all the assembling ourselves. The parts did not fit and the quality are really bad. Do not buy anything from that firm.

I ordered the Soriana 3-seater sofa a while ago, and yes, it does take a long time to arrive. However, since I requested a fabric that wasn't in their collection and they kindly arranged to get the fabric for me, I didn't mind waiting. Besides, it was only 14 weeks, which is typical for made-to-order items. My experience was positive, and after reading all the 1-star reviews about fabric samples, I felt compelled to write this review. Who leaves a review just because they didn't receive a fabric sample? Yes, delivery can be slow, and they don't always respond to emails within 24 hours, but they offer good-quality products at a reasonable price. Most of the negative reviews aren't about the product, as someone pointed out; all the reviews are fake because they never mention the product, including that review. I love my sofa and have recommended Nue Modern to friends who have purchased from them and had similar experiences. You can order with confidence.

It's a scam, stay away!

I can only urge everyone to stay away from this company. They have no concept of customer service and don't care whether the goods you paid for ever arrive or how long you wait in vain for them. They don't know their own regulations and are overwhelmed by the task of sending a piece of furniture across their own national border.

I ordered a lounge chair over half a year ago. Four months later, I was told that it had arrived at their warehouse and that I had to apply for an EORI number so that it could be shipped. That takes four weeks here in Germany ( I wish they had given me this information during the months I was waiting). Suddenly, they said I didn't need the number after all. After weeks without updates and two unanswered emails, they said they now needed the number (which has been given to me in the meantime). After I sent it, weeks passed again without any updates. After I followed up again, they said my number was apparently not valid and that they couldn't ship the chair until it was. You can check online whether the number is valid, and mine is verifiably valid. So I wrote another email asking how we could proceed. No response since then.

Bought 2 lamps with shipment to my address in Portugal.
Package arrived at Lisbon import office. I had to get them out from there. 16 days with daily interaction, frustration and 40% taxes on goods. Package arrived finally to my house. SURPRISE - it’s a Lego puzzle with a poor assembly manual.
Nue- Modern did not inform nor assist on any part of this nightmare.
I will NEVER buy from them again, be careful 😥😥

Nue modern is a great place to buy your Mid century furnishings they have so much great pieces to offer my sorianna sofa as just arrive and it looks amazing. The quality is fantastic and I definitely will be purchasing more items from this company, five stars for the service and the product⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

At first the communication was great and they answered all my questions. After placing my order 6th of October , it got all quiet. I contacted Mastercard to make a fraud claim and eventually Nue Modern answered and confirmed my order. Now, I have tried to get hold of them to get an update and the phone seems to get disconnected when I call. They do not answer emails either. Check my order 10091 please if you are still there, or else I will contact Mastercard again

It just takes forever to deliver

Ordered a coffee table in mid July and it arrived in mid November . I was expecting the long lead time as this is happening with many other companies at the moment too relying on international shipping etc . I have to say I was very impressed by the quality of the table . It’s first rate and came very carefully packaged to avoid any damage . It was worth the wait !! I have read other reviews on here so was hesitant about using this company but I had a very positive experience .

Throughout, the performance was flawless. I cannot convey how deeply I support this company. There were no problems. I recently received the best customer service I've ever had.

My new Modern Society furniture is great. I've always admired modern design and wanted to make my home look more current. After browsing the Modern Society website, I located the perfect products for my living room.

I found it entertaining to read some of the more recent “five star” reviews that seem to bear no resemblance to a furniture company. If you are looking at reviews I encourage you to compare the words and content of the five star reviews (no mention of furniture and seems to relate not to a furniture company) with the words and content of the one and two star reviews, which have much more colour.
We ordered samples in the year that never arrived. We did not sign up to marketing emails. Earlier this week we were sent an email asking to click a link if we wanted to subscribe to email. We didn’t click this link, and a day later we were sent a marketing email anyway. This is illegal. We clicked the unsubscribe link in the marketing email. A day later, we were sent another email asking us to click the link to subscribe. They are totally ignorant of our requests to unsubscribe, to not subscribe in the first place and to never hear from them again. I will now be using the block feature to ensure their illegal messages don’t come anywhere near my inbox.
I do not want to deal with this scammy company that has no respect for consumer law ever again, and strongly suggest you run another mile in the other direction if you are even contemplating placing an order.

Because they are a terrific firm, I would recommend them to everyone.
