It was a heck of a Christmas hassle
It was a heck of a Christmas hassle! Ordered several cakes and they were very expensive. Bad service in delivering by Christmas… several didn’t make it. But they did credit me for part of it. Which was important. They are in Italy. The product was beautifully packaged but the cake was nothing special at all. I still like the company!!!

Incredible Product.. but
I have ordered from Olivieri1882 at least 3 times. The ordering online is fairly easy. They list all the available flavors with very good descriptions of each product. Shipping was as expected although my last order of the 250yr anniversary Panattone was received very quickly.
My first orders were of the classic. Unbelievable!! Incredible taste and so very fresh. It lasted a very long time and we alternated toasting with dessert type options with fresh fruit. The special 250yr anniversary was a disappointment unfortunately. It arrived quickly but just wasn’t as good as the 1st two we received. It didn’t seem as fresh either. We of course had it as our dessert at our July 4th barbecue with fresh blueberries and strawberries. I’m not sure if it was shipped from Italy or was already here in a warehouse. We didn’t finish it. My advise is to go Classic or Colomba. Incredible product and worth the price. While we were disappointed with our last order we will be ordering again especially over the holidays.

I had an issue with what I thought…
I had an issue with what I thought incorrectly, was not receiving my correct order. I immediately contacted customer service and had a very quick response from customer service representative IIaria. She more than generously took care of the issue only to find out later it was my mistake. I re contacted her immediately to let her know it was my error. She immediately sent me back a smiley face and let me know we were good and to enjoy my gift. Customer service is wonderful and their products too! I have ordered many panettones and will continue to deal with Olivier 1882. A very well run company with an exceptional product.

I never received my order - Update 7/30/26
I never received my order. I was offered some kind of coupon, asked for a replacement instead, and never heard another word. I would have accepted a replacement; now, I’d like a full refund.
Update: Ilaria was most helpful and I have now received a full refund. At Christmas , I had had these to family and they loved them! I would do that again.
