Bought some bedding and although it was fairly cheap for superking the material never feels dry against my skin. It’s really weird. Feels damp and just cannot get used to it.

I am reaching out in regards to your order. I am ever so sorry to hear of the disappointment caused with your Block Stem Bed Linen.
All of our bedding sets are 100% cotton and are machine washable at 40 degrees. We would also advise to tumble dry these at a lower temperature and ensure that they are dried thoroughly before use. Condensation and excessive airflow can also cause bedsheets to retain moisture, however we will be sure to take your feedback on board and pass this on to our design team to review further.

There you have it. What a ridiculous thing to say and thanks for the lesson in how to dry bedding. I’d no idea. I can tell when bedding is dry it just feels funny as if it’s damp. That’s £72 down the drain-pardon the pun.

This company is unbelievably bad. Firstly they charge exorbitant shipping costs in the first place, in my case £7 for a roller blind. As it happens the blind was unsuitable, so had to be returned, unopened. I had already checked their returns procedure before buying which appeared to imply that UK returns are free. But no, scroll to the bottom of the returns policy, past everything else, and you will find a very conveniently placed paragraph explaining that returns of blinds have to be collected with a charge of £27! That is just unbelievable. I contacted Customer Services who were no help and basically said that's how it is. To add insult to injury the blind was reduced significantly 1 day after mine arrived.

I bought a leather bag, within a week it is suddenly reduced by 30%. I contact customer service who point blank refuse to compensate in any shape or form. Poor customer service from a greedy company.

Incredible customer service!
Contacted the customer service team a short while ago asking about whether a specific product would be coming back in stock.
I got a prompt response informing me there were no plans to re-stock that item. Dissapointing but at least I knew!
Today, Jess from customer service contacted me saying a limited amount of stock had returned for the product I wanted.
Brilliant customer service, she'd remembered me and the product I was hoping for!
She told me there was only 1 of the product I especially wanted and hinted for me to act fast and I bought the product and bagged it straight away!
Absolutely brilliant customer service, if Jess hadn't contacted me, i'd never have known there was 1 more in stock today.

Placed an order worth 144€. Coffee mugs. Delivery to Germany. The suggested additional charge was 72€. Paperwork from Orla Kiely very poor, I had to deal with customs. Never ever again will I buy anything from this company.

My customer service experience with Jess in the customer service dept. of Orla Kiely was excellent and she was very quick to reply. I had bought 6 stacking mugs & one had a flaw in it, she arranged to replace the mug (at no cost to me) & it arrived within 2 weeks from the UK to Melbourne, Australia. I have full confidence in purchasing from them again & plan to do so in the future.

Customer services is excellent. Had some champagne flutes delivered and one was broken. Customer services were very helpful, couldn't of asked for better. Thank you and I really love the glasses.

So it's July & now OK responded looking for more details ...yeah ...all the details are there - 4 months later U respond ...shows the level of customer service
Whilst the design is appealing, the quality of the Ivy sofa was poor: after six months, one leg broke and the fabric has come away from the stitching in several places. Having waited months for delivery for a British-made sofa, I had hoped that I was buying something good. Disappointed. The faults have been rectified by the retailer.
Trying desperately to return my order. Nobody to speak to. Only emails accepted, but I was reassured I was talking to a human being (having asked!).
I was told however they dont have phone lines.......I'm sorry what!?? Is this 2023 or 1983!??
Very hard to then get a new label for 2 packages as the return. Another email sent today. Unlikely to make further orders due to return issues.
My mum ordered a handbag mum, it never arrived. The Evri app said ‘bad weather delivery not possible’. That was 3 weeks ago. Mum had to write to Orla kiely for a refund and then chase a refund for the postage (£7!) - no apology or acknowledgement that the item was most probably stolen!
Trading using Orla Kiely Ireland website , however they ship from the UK which means you'll pay customs on arrival. They hide this well. I sent an email to check my order to find out that it's coming via royal mail. When I queried the fact they're trading using Ireland in the title, it was pointed out to me that this was mentioned in their delivery details somewhere. Just beware as the title of their site is very misleading. It's not Ireland!!!
I will add however that Robert in customer service replies quickly to emails and comes across very genuine in his replies. Considering the delay with post and my initial concerns, he has refunded me the shipping cost, and I am grateful for this
Ordered an item, transaction processed, stated delivery time 3-5 days. After 2 weeks of no further notifications or arrival of item, I contacted their customer service. More than 48 hours later, someone emailed to say that the item had been out of stock and they would refund me. If I hadn’t got in touch, I wonder if they would have bothered. I now can’t get the item anywhere else and am left fuming. The customer service messages are patronising and unhelpful. I will never buy from here again
I received my Orla Kiely foot stool yesterday and to be honest i am really disappointed with the shoddy workmanship on this item .
I paid nearly £300 for this item and yet it is poorly finished .The upholstery is clearly stapled on the underside ,one of the legs diesn't screw on properly without removing the cardboard washer!
I was considering ordering a chair but if this is the quality then i think i will look elsewhere .
I ordered a snuggler and footstool Nov 2021. When they arrived in April 2022, both had issues, which were investigated by the obligatory 'independent expert', who found that they had issues. The replacements arrived this morning (October 3rd 2022) and although the footstool is better, the snuggler is worse - both would be regarded as 'seconds'. If a company is going to spend a year failing to deliver two acceptable items of upholstery, one might think that they would be concerned about their supplier. I'm just glad I bought from a reputable store and not through Orla Kiely direct, as reading their Trustpilot reviews, Orla Kiely don't seem to be as obliging when things go wrong.
How disappointing! Received delivery of a bag. Packaging was intact but the bag had black spots in the material so clearly packaged that way and not damaged in transit. I emailed Customer service to be offered a 15% discount. I wanted a bag fit for purpose not a clearly seconds item. It is not acceptable to send substandard goods hoping Customers will accept as the returns process is too difficult and is at their own expense. Shame on you.
During Orla Kiely's "free wallet weekend" I ordered a purse for myself and two bags as gifts. The free wallets I selected disappeared when I checked out. This happened twice. When I reached out to customer service they were not helpful and would not correct the problem.
Ordered two sofas during lockdown so accepted long delivery time but the quality on these items is poor. The sofas are uncomfortable because the foam filling is not adequate and it's leading to back problems as there simply isn't enough support. Can't fault the design but the manufacturing process leaves a great deal to be desired. Would definitely not recommend buying this range
We ordered a good amount of furniture through a retailer in Norwich a sofa two chairs a footstool and a few cushions etc We ordered this on 28th November last year and of course was informed that there would be a long lead time. However we have now missed the original date ,was then told the 14th April no delivery then the 29th April no delivery all dates set by yourselves very disappointing if you can’t meet your own deadlines what’s the point in setting them
If you haven’t seen the item in person, don’t bother ordering online….because in the event it isn’t what you were hoping for and you need to return, you will have a headache.
Returned my item almost a month ago now. No acknowledgment email as you’d get with other companies (even though Royal Mail tracking service confirms that it has been delivered) no reply to my email to customer services a week ago. No reply to my social media message.
Really poor customer service and I won’t be purchasing from here again.
