I booked portrait shoot with Brian as a birthday gift from me to me. We picked Glen Nevis Valley for the location and it was a perfect spot as this place has sentimental value to me. Being comfortable in front of the camera is not something I find easy, but Brian was able to make me feel relaxed and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It took quite a while to get the final edits but they were so worth the wait…. I am simply trilled with them and I’ll cherish them forever. If you’re looking for authentic, soulful and meaningful portraits in nature then Brian is the right photographer for you.

I hired Brian to do a surprise photoshoot for my fiancé and I after we had got engaged.
He took us around some nice spots in Glencoe on a ridiculously sunny day.

He was very flexible about times on the day. The photoshoot itself was really fun and Brian put us at ease, despite the fact we were both feeling a bit awkward and anxious. Brian is an incredible photographer and took some really amazing photos with the stunning backdrop of Glencoe.

What I liked most about Brian was his enthusiasm and proactivity. I had a very obscure request, I wanted to propose to my then partner in Glencoe. This place was special to us, I first visited my partner here in 2020, so when I relocated to Scotland in 2022, I knew this had to be the setting for the big question. I wanted to propose in an obscure hidden away location in Glen Etive, and Brian was all for it, and I wanted to make it a surprise engagement.

Brian was incredibly patient with me, and was a great sounding board. We spoke over email and over the phone to come up with a great plan. He even met with me in person the morning of to finalise all our details and leave no stone unturned. When we ran into a couple externally driven hiccups, Brian was quick on his feet and improvised appropriately.

During the surprise, Brian snapped impressive candid photos of us in the moment. After the proposal, he rendezvoused with us to take photos of us up-close. Brian is clear and direct with what he needed from us for the photos. We were overjoyed with his local knowledge, he knew exactly where to take us to capture our very special moment. So often we get caught up in the moment that we cannot reflect back on it- but thanks to Brian, we have that reflection. Brian helped me through my nerves and gave me the confidence I needed. We were so excited by the sneak peak he gave us later that night, and we were incredibly pleased when the photos were sent to us. They were beautiful, and we felt like we were there all over again.

We wanted to commemorate our first trip to Scotland and Brian helped us capture some lovely moments. He was flexible with our schedule and location and made us feel comfortable, despite our gross inexperience at having our photos taken :) would recommend as a special way to remember a special trip!

I totally recommend Brian as a guide and photographer, he is such an amazing Scottish man, who knows so many great places in Scotland, and without him our trip wouldn’t have been the same, each moment and each he pictured and now besides to have been to such an amazing places now we also have so many beautiful photos, he love what he does and that makes such a difference in our experience in Scotland, this isn’t the first time Brian was my guide but in 2017 he also brought me to Skye, I have no words to say how happy I was to be with my friends in 2023 with my friends in Scotland with Brian as our guide and photographer, thank you Brian so much to again make my experience in Scotland unique, you are the best ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The experience i had with Brian was AMAZING. I live in Belgium, and when I was in Scotland he took me and my friends to visit stunning places and took professional photos. Brian is a perfect Scottish guide and he has great photography skills and I can't wait to go back and have another experience above of the mountains.

My husband and I planned a trip to Scotland to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. I had a distinct style in mind for a throw-back wedding-style golden hour photoshoot, and Brian totally nailed it.
He was super awesome to work with - personable, easy-going, and really helped us to not feel awkward in front of a camera.
The pictures were so amazing, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience.

I can only say that the experience i had with Brian was perfect. I live in Florence, and when I was in Scotland he took me to visit many wonderful places (like the Isle of Skye or amazing castles) and above all he gave me an excellent photo shoot! in fact Brian besides being a perfect Scottish guide is also an excellent photographer and videomaker (also drone shoot)! I can't wait to go back and go ti explore with him!

We had a fantastic private tour on Islay last April. Brian had prepeared everything - from pic up at the airport, accommodation, restaurants, and most impotant for us, whisky distillery tours and tastings. During our visit Brian took professional photos which he later send to us. I will definitely contact Brian next time I will visit Scotland !

Modelling for Brian and outdoor shop Beinn Nibheis was a great experience! Brian has great photography skills, he is detail oriented but also very intuitive. Great with people, he puts you instantly at ease and is very precise in his instructions. The way he led the fashion photoshoot made us all feel safe and confident, even in challenging weather conditions! Can’t wait to see the end result!

My husband and I booked a photo shoot with Brian while we were in Scotland to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary. Brian was flexible and responsive leading up to our photo shoot, and his ability to make us comfortable during the shoot made it a very enjoyable experience. He helped us turn an otherwise miserable, rainy day into an experience we won't forget. PLUS, we have fabulous pictures to help us remember the occasion for years to come.

We couldn't have found a better photographer than Brian to capture our day just the way we had hoped for.
We chatted in the few months up to the wedding, so by the time we met Brian a few hours before the ceremony we felt very much at ease, and as neither of us are the types who like have our pictures taken this was pretty good going.
Our ceremony was due to take place on the beach of Loch Morlich up in the Cairngorms, but due to the typically inclement Scottish weather we had to completely change our plans for the day, but Brian adapted amazingly like the pro he is. He listened to what we wanted, gave us suggestions which we would never have thought of, which turned out to be some of our favorite pictures.
Even in the torrential rain we still went to the beach, Brian took some absolutely stunning pictures, despite the down poor.
So glad we chose Brian, there's not many days go by without us looking through our stunning pictures.

Brian was super approachable, easy to communicate with and easy going. He took the most stunning pictures of my fiancé and I. We had never had professional photos taken of us and were a little nervous but Brian eased our nerves quickly. He told us exactly where to stand, how to pose, where to look and he shot the pictures quickly. He sent us a snapshot of the stunning photos he took that same evening. We have had so many compliments on the beautiful pictures and are in the process of getting them professionally printed for our apartment. We are so glad we had the opportunity to work with Brian. We would recommend anyone in the area to get photos taken with him. I know my fiancé and I would gladly get more photos taken by him when we visit Scotland once again :)

We did a couples photoshoot with Brian in Glencoe when we were staying at the woodlands, this was part of a package they were offering. We were both a little apprehensive as we had never done a couples photoshoot before. Brian picked us up in the morning and straight away made us feel completely comfortable and relaxed. Brian’s previous occupation as a Scottish guide meant he had endless knowledge about Scotland, we felt as though we not only came away with some beautiful photographs but also with some new knowledge about the Scottish hills. Brian provided us with a few sneak peak photographs straight after the shoot which really kept the buzz of the day going, we couldn’t wait to see the full set of photographs. We were both blown away with the pictures, they exceeded our expectations and we can’t thank him enough for such a memorable day and experience that will stay with us both forever.

Brian was so professional but so easy to get on with. My husband was nervous of getting his photos taken to begin with but Brian made him feel so at ease and made us feel like we had known him a long time!
